There is a bug in v2.0.3, do NOT flash it.

If already flashed, it's best to revert back to previous version (2.0.2R) for now.

16tb Seagate

Only changed boot animations

Worked smooth here and 2.03 reduced boot lag for me from 2.02R

Will also be testing other xbox revisions

On discord people are having issues after messing with the .ini so there are some issues

Lets see if we get 2.03R

I'm on the discord and saw that - Setup #1 I tested was perfect so the bug is only for some setups.  I will update regardless when released.  Thank you for the heads up.

Basicly this "bug" is just a problem if you flash it to the TSOP without having a fallback option like a modchip, multi bios modchip or an unlocked hdd to edit the config (Or you flashed it to your Modchip and still have a retail bios on your TSOP). 

Thats the point why you should not flash it to your TSOP in the first place. Exception here is if you have a 1mb with a splitt so you basicly have a chance to boot up your xbox. How ever, as long as your XBOx HDD isn't locked you should be able to hook her up to your PC and using FatXplorer to edit the config. 

So bottom line is, this bug is only a problem for a pretty small amount of users and newbies. 

How ever, I removed the bios and switched the MC Flasher back to the 1.8.0 which holds the 2.02r cerbios just in case of a what ever...

And @Donnie-Burger: How much hours of 480p holyday videos fit on the 16TB.

These are client builds.  I don't even own an xbox.  I build and sell them all or get them sent in / dropped off for upgrades

Same with all consoles I work on.  I work everyday all day so never have time to game.

 

Anything you guys need tested let me know as I have all models in most of the time.

2.03R does not work for me. Boots to black screen from Xenium (dash is XBMC regular). However, game will run if i load one in the dvd drive. 2.02R works perfectly.

I ended up using Titan on x3 build I just shipped back.  Will test on next build here soon.  Ty for the heads up.

As far as I can see just one report on Discord for a black screen on a 1.0 ( I assume thats you @Legitimately Stimulating?).

I have one or two laying around and will test it later the day (I just woke up and need a hell lot of coffee first). 

How ever, is it possible that all these problems with Cerbios startet with the Hybrid release?

@Bowlsnapper: Thanks for the flowers but I could not even compete with Kaos or Dave even in a hundred years. They are like Yoda and Obi Wan.

I know have testet Cerbios 2.03r & Cerbios 2.03r UDMA5 with the xbox versions 1.0, 1.1, 1,3 and 1.4. 

No problems here.

I have createt 512kb and 1024kb version of the UDMA2 and UDMA5 for the ones which can't do it or don't want do it on there own. Read about that on discord the last time so here is a pack which contains all versions in one pack (256/512/1024 as UDMA2 & UDMA5).

FYI Cerbios 2.0.2R and 2.0.3R are having issue making initial connection to Insignia Live services. The current work around is boot into or flash m8+ and connect the first time. After that revert back to Cerbios and test again. Connection should now pass.

I tried the XMV player boot animation and some kind of video output change is occurring. It takes my TV so long to switch from whatever TO whatever that I miss half of the XMV that's played.

What I hadn't like of this bios is that when I upgraded my hard drive to a 2tb seagate barracuda and startech ide2sat2 if the hdd is completely blank from factory, cerbios didn't boot from the dvd drive. I had to temporarily use the old drive, flash m8+, boot true hexen, format, reflash cerbios and rewrite the partition table. Now I'm happily using the udma5 version without problems. But a respectable custom bios should be able to install a new drive without pc or another bios. Another little bug it's when soft resetting with igr cerbios seems to reboot two times prior to going back to the dash. A part from these little things it's a great bios, I only miss an option to force 480p.

Are you sure your master/slave jumper settings are correct?
