It depends of the configuration, if the xbox is TSOP flashed, then you have a point. But if there is a chip inside it running prometheos, then you can always boot into prometheos and ftp a new dash.

Cerbios does just what a stock bios would do, if there is a dvd in the drive, then it will boot that dvd first before it boots a dash on a cold boot. About the No DVD modes: - mode 0: is like stock, if you remove the drive the console will not boot anymore - mode 1: dvd remove legacy, what means if the drive is removed the console will boot, and if there is a drive present the xbox can still read discs - mode 2: This mode removes all code for dvd drives on bios level. This means with mode 2 the xbox cant read any disc, even if a drive is present and connected.

TBH the scene is alive and as active like in the begin days. Even xbox-scene is still around You are always welcome in the xbox-scene discord (https://discord.gg/VcdSfajQGK) A lot of the original scene members from back in the day are in this discord.

Hi Paul, First, thank you for what you did for the scene with making that LBA48 patch. To answer your question, cerbios was the first one to break that 2TB barrier, and it became even better with the latest release. Now you can use dual HDD with cerbios. The 2nd HDD take the place of the DVD drive. With this you can have 2x16TB drives in your xbox and have a total of 32TB available.

idk about the ram stacking, seems fragile to me. Even that I have the soldering skills, I don't like the 1.6 because the extra work on it (ram upgrade does take longer than on previous revisions for example, same for a mod chip) and prefer 1.2-1.4 myself. -
People probably hate it because it is something extra that can break. Just like the fan on the GPU.

Stellar does not support the use of trainers If you want to use trainers then the only way is use another modchip and use cerbios.

Aladdin chipped XBox only gets AV out when chip is pushed down....

to be sure, you can try and ftp into the console, you then know for sure it booted to dash. -

you can easy spot the green x3cp panel by the bank switch leds, these are green, on all other x3cp variants they are blue. -

yes it came with a small pcb board that you just need to plug in between the motherboard and the connector ports (3 and 4) -
