They're still happily recognized by the flasher tool, even after flashing 2.3.1 to them. but I accidentally overwrote the flash.bin when I went to write it back. Learn my ass for not fully reading shit and madly clicking. TL:DR: I'm an idiot and need a JTAG programmer to flash the openxenium code to my xenium clones. Hi, I've managed to do all of the steps to install the unleashedx softmod via usb and splinter cell, the ftp settings, placing the snes9x X folder in the correct location, and getting the emulator to show up on the console. All i had left to do is simply hit the A button on any one one of the Roms to start them up, and yet nothing happens when i do that? The A button works fine for literally everything else except starting the Roms. I'm hoping it's because i have an off brand madcatz controller, and not an original xbox controller. Or maybe it's something more simple than that? Corrupted Roms maybe?

I've done some research, but the information is scattered from over 15 years and there are a lot of different opinions on the matter. What are the present day recommended bios for open xenium running xenium 2.3.1? Are there any bios/dashboard packages or bundles available? Thanks!

Hello all I was just wondering what modchip I would need to get for my xbox console. I've heard of really only the aladdin xt plus 2 and was wondering where I can get my hands on them because amazon doesn't sell them & ebay doesn't sell them. I even looked on aliexpress and alibaba and no one has these things in stock. Background on why I'm needing some is simply I was doing a mod for a friends xbox. The process was going great, I had the softmod installed and ready for a tsop mod which went fine, I flashed my windbond bios over to the 1.4 xbox with a windbond chip inside, went to go do my hard drive upgrade and thats where everything went wrong. How did it go wrong??? Well I plugged in my new hard drive, startech ide to sata adapter, and 80 wire ide cable and turned on the xbox booted up but error coded out because there was nothing on the hard drive and I needed to load the hexen 2019 disc, loaded the disc and shut down and restarted the console. Blob animation ran its course and the xbox logo appeared on screen with linux underneath and evox badge in the top left corner and hung up there. I said ok it might take it a minute so I went outside and took out my trash and recycling, let the dog out, made and ate my breakfast and went to check on it after about 30 minutes or so have passed, I actually forgot about it, and it was still on that screen. I thought that unleashed x would have seen the new drive by now but nothing. So I went back and reflashed my bios for f & g, xbox turned off after it was flashed. Pushed the power button and nothing but power cycling and red and yellow led lights. Was told that the flash failed for some reason and now my only hope was a modchip. I seem to never be able to do these mods in one shot without problems its always something. But any and all help would greatly be appreciated, Thanks everyone!!

I'm trying to setup these madmab edition emu's for sega cd and ps1. On sega cd i'm using bin/cue files but it won't load the game. On ps1 i have img files and they won't load either. Are these the right format for the games?

The kids broke the connectors inside the front USB ports on my Falcon. Does anyone know where I can order replacement parts? I know it has to be soldered to the motherboard; I'm pretty handy with a desolderer. :-) Searched Digikey without success. I just watched a cool video on how you can use a simple bluetooth USB dongle to use new PS3 and PS4 controllers with a PS2. This happens with OPL on a Free Mcboot PS2. I understand this works by the OPL app translating the bluetooth controller's messages and emulating a genuine PS2 controller for the system to understand. Could a similar thing work on a modded Xbox? I would love to use a Xbox One controller on my OG Xbox. I lowkey hate the S controllers I have. I know that Ryzee made a neat Arduino solution to use 360 controllers, but it's so expensive.

Hi! Is there an app for windows that allows extracting multiple ISO redumps for og Xbox? Note that I mean ISO, not xiso, regular extracting apps doesn't work bc those ISO files have more than one layer. I've only managed to extract single file at once, I have a lot of those redumps and it takes a lot of time to extract them.

Hi guys, Looking for some feedback here. I have seen a VGA cable that is detected as component by the Xbox. Seller states its similar to the Frosty VGA cable. I have UnleashX on an Aladdin XT2 with Xromwell running on a v1.2 Conexant Xbox. My TV handles YPRPB component signal through its VGA input. Anyone got experience here, Ive seen old posts about certain BIOS for VGA but cannot really follow whats being said due to my inexperience. Do you guys reckon the cable will work with my configuration? Hi guys, Does anyone has any idea if a skin exist with cover support? I mean, but on a size specifically for CRT TV's? 4:3? The problem I am having is that most dashboards with cover support are made specifically for widescreen HD TV's, I am fine with that, but I use my Xbox exclusively on my Sony Wega CRT. It looks amazing because it has component inputs (I am about to build my component cable though). To me, this consoles are made to play on 4:3 on a good CRT, so ideally I would want a skin or a dashboard where I could see what I am doing! I don't think I am the only one! On a CRT Xbox4gamers looks tiny and is terrible to use. UnleashX is the perfect size for CRT's but I haven't found a skin that supports covers! Anyone knows of such a thing?
