Just use Cerbios. If you have sata with a startech adapter, use UDMA 6. If you have a cheapazoid adapter use UDMA 5 or 4. If IDE, use the file unlabeled with a UDMA version. It's UDMA 2 which will work.

Everything works and runs with Cerbios.

Yes my system has Startech adapter, it's more expensive but better quality, also I noticed Cerbios.ini you have to manually insert the path to your dashboard, I use xbmc4gamers, but is on drive letter D I guess it must be Partition3, since Partition2 is for C drive?

Partition 1 = E drive

Partition 2 = C drive

Partition 6 = F drive

Partition 7 = G drive

D drive is the DVD drive

 

Normally you have xbmc4gamers on E drive

Are you talking about C? D is the disc drive...

Your installed dash should have the XBE on C and load from E... Unless I have that wrong. But Cerbios should just automatically point to evoxdash.xbe on C, which should boot xbmc if it's installed as your primary dash.

The xboxdash.xbe is a hardcoded not changeable value to ensure that at least something will boot and you are not hang on a black screen. The same applies for the DVD drive values  which will always fall back to default.xbe.

Ok, is the 5003 release the latest unofficially patched version that fixes a few bugs in the original 5003 release distributed via xbins FTP server?
