Hi guys, I've just joined. Great forum I have an original xbox softmodded with unleashx I have found an issue when setting the clock to year 2020, after a reboot the clock goes back to 2006. Setting the clock to year 2019 works correctly Im guessing the problem is some form of bug with the 2 digit year value in the RTC Do you guys know if anyone has worked on a patch for this ? Thanks

Hi! Is there an app for windows that allows extracting multiple ISO redumps for og Xbox? Note that I mean ISO, not xiso, regular extracting apps doesn't work bc those ISO files have more than one layer. I've only managed to extract single file at once, I have a lot of those redumps and it takes a lot of time to extract them.

So yes, guys that is my question, please help me here. I am trying to buy an original component xbox 360 cable, to then build an Xbox component cable (using a tutorial from the forum). I live in south america and buying internationally is not an option (2 to 3 months of wait). Could this be an original 360 component cable? I recently got a green xbox and want to sell my old black xbox. I want to remove the 500GB sotmodded hard drive and replace it with the original 8GB. I know how to do that but I want to be able to use the 500GB drive in my Green xbox - how do I do this? I don't mind formatting the 500GB drive and starting afresh. I have an IDE PC if that's any use. Any help greatly appreciated

So yes, that is my question, are there any custom dashboards that look like the original microsoft dashboard? See, I am quite new to the "original Xbox" and I would LOVE to experience something at least similar to the original experience with an Xbox circa 2004. You know, with all the sounds (which I've heard they are creepy) and look of the original. I am yet to use my XBOX as it came with the controllers completely smashed and dead. I live in Chile, so I bought an controller in good condition and it will come here who knows when (internationally). No market for used Xbox things in here. Hi All It took a bit but it's working the way I wanted. All hidden inside the case. I wanted to be able to retain the Original controller or plug in a wireless adapter for the Xbox360 wirless controller. Using Ryzee119's adapter and some switching and making use of the light gun wire I got it working. At this stage it is just the 1st port with the other ports untouched. The only small issue is the 5 second delay before the 360 controller will work after that the there doesn't appear to be any lag between the 2. Hi - having gotten the xbox original bug recently I have acquired a few original xbox consoles from friends and colleagues. I have a 1.0 that has a fan on the GPU so it's pretty noisey. I have a 1.6 and that can't be Tspoped and I don't have the skills required to add a chip. Today, a colleague gave me an xbox 1.1 - I opened it and checked to see if there was a fan on the GPU and there isn't - which is good in terms of noise. This also means that I can TSOP the 1.1. I have 3 or 4 more lying around in my attic that I collected over the years at car boot sales (mainly to get the games that came with them in bundle packs) - is there a particular model that I should look out for like the 1.1 seems to have the best of everything for me right now or am I wrong? Which version do you think is the best and why? Thanks in advance.

I got an xbox cheap as the drive didn't open - easy fix I thought and was delighted to find it was indeed an easy fix and that the drive worked. I turned it off and came back 6 hours later to find it was quite warm on the side where the power supply is located inside the xbox. Is this normal or something to worry about? Thanks in advance.

Took me 2 days to get all the wiring right. for the wii2hdmi for og xbox modd ... using a wii2hdmi device ordered off eBay you can also find an Alibaba and other places like this. Very inexpensive around 5 Canadian dollars. You're also going to need some sort of a donor Xbox RCA wires or component wires in order to pull this off. There is 11 connections total five of which are ground I do not suggest not adding all the ground cuz could cause interference. Had pretty good luck I made to both of them are crystal clear with no interference. I tested on version 1.0 as well as version 1.4 turned out very good. I tried to look up and down online for some sort of schematic nothing appeared. There was one picture that was in Spanish but it was misleading I tried to look into it to find out who the original inventor was found the person at XB Classics a Brazilian site. After conversating with him he told me that he had better pictures but he would not share. Then I noticed a site that they has linked where they were selling these to the equivalent of 40 US dollars a piece so that is the reason the images that they uploaded are just there to confuse people. So that they cannot make it. Does not include audio left or right. And apparently La stands for 5 V? Don't ask me but that's what the guy told me makes no sense at all. I spent two days getting the wiring correct. I documented everything and put it on a YouTube video (link2come) was trying to figure out the best way to make this readily available for everybody in the world any Xbox Enthusiast should have a low cost HDMI adapter solution available to them this is where these schematics come in. Again I didn't notice any interference at all. Just a little bit in the Bios when only running 480 but there's not much you can do unless you re Flash the BIOS to force. I've noticed people in the group posting pictures not even having soldering skills and getting very good results from this method. In theory you can use this exact same adapter in order to have an internal HDMI solution. These images are water marked because these are going to be the only good images that are online and I seen the way XB classic does their water mark and it really bugs me that they did that so I wanted to make sure that everyone knows where it came from. That being said I'm Mister James Reid really helped me out with this he volunteered his services in order to take my hard copy drawings that were on paper and make it look something presentable. Which he did and he did a great job thank you very much James I did in fact alter the images to have the watermark across them. Sorry about that but I figured since I put in the work I deserve to have my name on it. If you have any questions please do not hesitate I do not check this site every day but I do come in from time to time. Thanks again and I hope people online can use this receive money from the big corporations like pounds and hyperkin charging ridiculous amounts of money for something so cheap... I've also got a lot of questions recently about people asking if this is any better than component. It uses the component wires in order to transfer the signal into HDMI. I'm not too technical with that end but when looking up the chip number on the actual board for the Wii to HDMI adapter I did notice in there schematics and their breakdown for the actual board they did mention that the video board that does the decoding actually does video on hand splint what kind of video enhancement I have no idea. But it should be an enhancement over component if they are speaking the truth. Anyway gentleman without further delay here are the schematics. I hope this hope somebody somewhere. Hey guys.... I just found my original Crystal modded xbox from years ago tucked away in a corner in the loft. Only thing is it has faulty Ethernet port. Is it easy to swap them out for a replacement? If so does anyone have a tut?? Otherwise i want to update the softmod that is in it..... I bought it already modded and it was supposed to be chipped but well i have opened it and there is deffo no modchip inside. Its also a 1.6 so no TSOP either so by process of elimination it has to be softmodded. My question is..... Am i safe to run Rocky5's softmod updater from the extras disc to update it? If so can i...(using a FATX formatted usb stick) copy the extracted extras disc to the E drive and run it from there as i cannot seem to get the DVD drive to read anything....
