Hi All, I need your help to identify my mod chip, i purchased this Original xbox and unable to find any information as to what mod chip it is or even what Bios it is using. I have tried to use the Hexen DVD to try Flash the Bios with the EvoX but none of the bios's i tried worked, it came back with drive ID error and unable to flash blue screen. Not sure if i am flashing it with correct Bios or not or if i have to manually put the Bios.bin files into the xbox itself via FTP ? My xbox is 1.6 version, can anyone please help to identify the chip installed ? and what Bios i can use or how to go about it if i cant do it with the Hexen DVD. I even tried Bios checker but it gives MD5 hash info without any chip information. It currently runs on the Evolution Dashboard however when booting up the xbox it has a custom logo on top left that appears was flashed with a custom bios. please see my image attached of the Mod Chip.

I`ve X 1.6 Hardmoded with Aladdin Advance 64 BIOS checker say: evox.m8pus.bin stock>1tb(sata) I try HEXEN method but after swapping HDD HEXEN block in "xbox linux" boot screen (red LED) I don`t know adapter non compatible or BIOS (hexen disc work) XBpartitioner 1,1 show this error:(photo) What to do? Hi guys, I know these things are rare but i kinda feel this guy is taking the piss!! £350!!! I paid only £50 for one of these in the same state (unused, boxed) only a couple of months ago!! Ebay Link to Piss Taker :) At £100 i'd consider it but tat would still be a bit of a piss take i feel.

Hi everyone. What Xecuter MOD Chip is this? I tried browsing the stickies but couldn't find a matching picture. The only thing I remember is that this was solderless. Also, is there a diagram somewhere that I can solder it into the XBOX instead? Thanks in advance.

I installed a aladdin xt modchip and when I have the chip out of the system it powers on but when the chip is plugged in the system won't power on. Does anyone know the problem?

Hey everyone if you got a spare xenium chip im currently looking to buy one

I have the parts to do either a TSOP flash or a DUO X2 GS modship install. Not sure which one is the most beneficial. Also have a 2TB HDD I'll be putting in it for storing my disc images. Just trying to figure out if I should softmod and then flash the TSOP and have the chip as a backup or just go straight for the chip install. Thoughts?

Hi im new to this forum but not new to modding . soon I will be installing an alladin plus x2 chip in my version 1.6 xbox therefore hard modding it . I seen where people are putting xbmc origins on their softmodded x boxes but find little information on getting a dashboard as such on it after I hard modded it ? so please 1.could somebody point me towards a prebuilt xbmc origins with instructions on how to install after I have successfully hard modded my xbox note: I will be using a ide to sata adapter to use a 2 tb hd or larger in the system 2. I plan to ftp my game files over to the hd another question I have. Can I use the hard drive as an external hard drive after I have installed a front end and transfer all my files at once with an external sata to usb adapter ? Hey guys! A friend brought me a dead console he found somewhere. I can’t post any pictures at the moment, but it looks to be a 1.5. It... doesn’t have a TSOP chip for some reason. In fact, the pads for it have been removed altogether. Can anything be be done with this? I have an old Xecuter 2.1 lite I could slap in if it’s worth the trouble. The chip’s been laying around for quite a while anyway.

Hello everyone. Quite new to this site, I was more active a couple of years ago when it came to the OG Xbox, but since, much else in life has taken it's time,, and I got stucj in the RGH business some years,, and I notice how quickly the memory fades. So now, when time has come back to dust off the old consoles that's been standing in the closet for some years now, many of the sites has been gone with the wind,, but, then I found this one : and I'm glad to see that the OG Xbox community still flourishes,, with a lot of new updates and upgrades since I last installed XBMC from a AID 4. disc. So,, I thought I would see if there's any bright minded folks that know something about a chip I discovered in a recently purchased 1.6. I searched about it but all I come across is dead links. The chip is a Muppet-X,, neither Kermit or Animal, but a white one with a 4 pin connector where only D0 is used, no BT etc,, those I removed, just want always on mode. But, I can't find any information about flash bank sizes, or the switch, so I have not been able to update the bios on this rare thing. So is there anyone with information about this thing I would be grateful.

Came across a beautiful selection of wiring diagrams for a bunch of commonly found mod chips. These images are in high-quality HD very easy to read can be downloaded and zoomed in to read perfectly. I am not the Creator of these pictures. The Creator is YouTube channel techno on top. This person normally does Xbox mods on YouTube. There's a video where he shows each of these pictures for 1 minute. I merely took a screenshot of each. Thought it would help out the community here. Hi everybody, first time here in SO long. I've had a modded Xbox since 2003 which I just turned back on after I heard out about the clock capacitor problem. Mine was ok (I was able to remove it and clean up alright) but having it back on I've found the hard drive to be quite loud and maybe not running so great. I wanted to replace the hard drive but I'm not sure if my old Chameleon modchip throws a wrench into the tutorials I've been looking at. If possible the method of hotswapping the DVD drive with the new HDD and cloning the original drive seems easiest. Any suggestions before I start fumbling through this are very much appreciated! And I have all the stats on my current setup if needed. Thanks so much for the help!!

Hello, I found this chip into v1.6 console. When power on the console there is no image, led blink red and after 4-5 second the console power off. Removing the chip the console works fine. I'd like to identify the chip in order to see how to re-install it properly. Thanks
