So What Is Your Favorite Game?

Recommended Posts

Crash games are indeed awesome and I'm currently playing the remastered n'sane trilogy on my PS4. On original Xbox I am currently enjoying some tiger woods PGA tour 2003. Just something about that golf game lol

These are my "go to" games that never get old to me. I never get tired of replaying Max Payne.

Destroy All Humans! followed closely by Stubbs the Zombie. I love super stylized games like those two. The desire to play DAH on a PC is what got me interested in emulator development in the first place.

Project Gotham Racing

I was surprised how good it actually looks for a release title. I really enjoy the handling and the kudos System. Definetly can recommend it while playing it right now.

I really melt myself playing project gotham racing 2. I sometimes find people on xlink kai and play online too. I dont know why but i like it more than forza(even if forza is more realistic)

So many great games! I think, while cliche, Halo on the Xbox is my all time favorite, mainly for all the late night death matches on blood gulch.  However, I played a ton of Morrowind back in the day on the OG Xbox (yes I know it is better on PC but I love console gaming better).  I think Beyond Good & Evil also holds a special place and is my top 5 favorite... I loved the art style, gameplay, story, characters, and music.  I played through BG&E so many times, I lost track and can still play it anytime today b/c it's that good.

      Hello everybody,
I have XVGM installed on my 750gb hard drive  Xbox. Some videos previews show and others do not.
I checked that I have the game  and a video preview for it, but it does not show.  What could it be?

Hey everybody!! I hope you're having a fantastic day!!!
I just opened up my XBOX V1.1 that, (18 years ago) I soldered a single core wire strand through from the back of the board to the top of the board. I cannot recall the specific tech that I was following from way way way back when, but I can't find any sort of photos online covering exactly what I was doing at the time!?? All I can remember from all of this memory delving is the phrase "If the bios is corrupted, then the TSOP will boot from backup", or something to that specific ilk. None of the TSOP bridging points are exacting the nature of what I did. The box was 100%%% operational to previous stock constraints, booting every time that I powered on, without a hitch, stutter or glitch, for about 4 years or so of operation. I did set the clock after each boot (which probably does mean that I still need to replace the clock capacitor), however I cannot see any specific electrolyte leakage on the board surrounding that capacitor, which is interesting. Anyway. I soldered to one specific junction on the back and taped the other end in place on the top - the tape has since disappeared along with the end of the wire that I was passing through the specific through port junction on the top of the board. I don't know where I was jumping the wire to. I can't find anyone doing this specific procedure concerning TSOP/General Repair at the current point? Is this an outmoded repair? Did people just stop doing this? What on earth was I doing? Anyway, the photos are attached, and I'm WILDLY interested to know what memories might be jogged from anyone's experience repairing the OG XBOX after seeing these photos.
