This machine boots and runs. I've been trying to find a wiring diagram to find out where this gray wire is supposed to be. I'm not 100% but I believe this is an old 2 piece execute chip. Any help would be appreciated

Hey guys, Reaching out as i was hoping you could help. A couple years back i bought another x3 modded xbox and it turned out the chip was faulty. Recently i have decided to revisit this and see if its possible to get this chip working. It is installed in a 1.6 version xbox. So far i have swapped the x3 from another 1.6 box and was able to transfer the fault between machines so i know its the modchip. I am getting the 3.3v and 5v lights on the chip, and the bank switcher lights and button functions are working. I cannot get onto the backup nand either. I have a feeling the previous owner corrupted the main nand as I am unable to flash any bios to the chip. xblastos detects the chip as an xecuter 3 but no other apps can see it. Just wondering what is left to do? is there a utility that defaults the nand or can recover from a suspected bad flash? Out of my depth here now, as i've owned numerous x3 boxes over the years but none have ever given me any hassle. Hope you guys can help. Cheers!

Came across a X3 box with LCD ad BIOS bank switches. The problem is the clock Cap leaked. I want to move it to a known good motherboard but the LPC wiring to the chip differs from this link. https://team-xecuter.com/x3/tutorials/x3pin1015.htm Is this the most up to date install manual for a X3 chip ?

Beeps, light and fan then off with no beep on for around 1 second? Xbox one s 1TB, push power button light beep and fan on then shuts off with no beep. i have looked online at possible causes and solutions. So far I have stripped it down to carry out some tests on the power supply and power rails/ apu mosfets hdmi leads all ok? power port ok apu mosfets ok fan ok does anyone have any links to video tutorials that give an in sight in to fault finding and full diagnostics of their mother boards? I find that all people start with some really great info and fault diagnostics testing then wrap it all up when they replace a mosfet rather than going on to lead you around the board say for example it’s not the mosfet then we test x,y z and so on until you have done a full diagnostics. also does anyone have links to test points and maybe a diagram any advice or support will help what are reading of the multimeter supposed to be can they differ on different boards? i have a keen interest to learn and absorb all relevant information related to fixing all consoles your knowledge and expertise would be great and hugely appreciated. please note I have tried to do the manual trouble shoot diagnostics hold button trick with no avail also tried a different hdmi lead and hair drier trick again with no avail. please help guys thanks in advance

Hi Oh wise ones, Does anyone know of a location from which I can obtain the last version of the .net x2cm app to creating x3config.ini files exclusively for the X2 5035 bios? I managed to find 0.5.4 and although this works it is missing some of the nicer tweaks (LED Colour etc) and the FTP side of the application straight up does not work. 0.5.9 was the last version and from what I can find out fixed the FTP connections making direct config file updates possible but I have been unable to locate this final release on line anywhere. Can anyone help me out either with a location that I have failed to find, or perhaps a copy they still have locally? Many thanhs

Hi! I recently did a TSOP Flash on my 1.1 Xbox, now it has a custom bios (evox). I downloaded XBMC4GAMERS (to E/Apps/Xbmc4Gamers) , used the url downloader in order to have the artwork, everything is ok, i can launch games and all, but i can't switch to this dash at boot. I read everywhere that it is very easy to do so, just by creating a shortcut with the xbeshortcutmaker, wich i did (changed the evoxdash.xbe to evoxdash_backup.xbe at the C partition, and created the shortcut with this path (E/Apps/Xbmc4Gamers) and paste to the C partition). But after that, my xbox get stuck at the boot screen with the microsoft logo. I used the hexen disc to go back to default, but can't manage to have my Xbmc4gamers as my main dash instead of UnleashX. Am i doing something wrong here?

Hi all, I’ve just noticed that the blue leds are not lighting up on my X3 control panel bios bank switch buttons. They should light up blue when pressed in (on). Anyone come across this before? Know how I can fix it?? Ill take it apart and see if theres a lose cable cable or similar but that won’t be for a few days....

Hi all, I'm looking to seel a crystal xbox with pink xecuter 3 modchip and crystal pro switch. All buttons are present on the pro switch. It's only got a 40gb hdd but does have coin ops on there. Hi everyone. What Xecuter MOD Chip is this? I tried browsing the stickies but couldn't find a matching picture. The only thing I remember is that this was solderless. Also, is there a diagram somewhere that I can solder it into the XBOX instead? Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone and thank you for taking the time to read my post,requesting urgent help with regards my.Xecuter X2.6CE modchip. As you can see in the photo i've uploaded.The red 5v socket is damaged (it was like this when i was given the chip,many years ago with the front switch board and chip to switch board cable BUT their wasn't the red 5v wire included).The socket's plastic has been damaged and it's missing it's 2 tiny pins.The 2 solder pads are still there though and i have tried soldering on a peice of wire to go from the solder pad on the chip to the 5v point on my V1.6 Xbox. No luck what so ever,even though i have tried the wire on both pads (one by one and not bridged together of course) When i power up my console,it will quickly power on then switch off,then again quickly switch on,then switch off.It does this 3 times then it'll stay on with a black screen and the front RF boards LED's flashing from red to green,red to green (Fragging i think it's known as) Please can anyone help me as to where i need to solder the piece of wire on the chip so i can use the chip in my V1.6 Xbox ? Thanks so much guys,any help from you would be truely apprieciated indeed.

Hi, I upgraded my xbox to a 1TB sata drive but I can only see 123gb. I understand I need to update the bios on the modchip I have which I believe is an Xecuter 2.3 lite. I tried using Hexen to upgrade to x2.4981 but I get the message !!Flash Not Writeable!! This happens if I have the switch set to protect or unprotect, Bank 1 or Bank 2. I downloaded a copy of x2.5035 so I could go with that version outside of Hexen, but I don't know how to do that. Please could someone assist me. Thank you.

Hi, I've got an xecuter X3IR installed and its all working but I have got a problem I cant seem to figure out? When X3IR is enabled the light around the power button changes colour, one side is red and one side is green? How do I get it to go back to just be green? Ive connect it up to X3 IR manager but there isn't a setting for changing the power button LED colour or am I missing something? Or is this just a feature to tell you X3IR is enabled? If I unplug the X3IR the light goes back to green both sides so it defiantly something to do with the X3IR. Any help would be much appriciated Cheers

Hi, I want to get back into making custom x2 4981 bios's but need the XBOX TEXT.3ds file as mentioned in the screen grab below (x-projects.org is long gone). I know I could use a newer bios but I liked messing with this particular one and having everything on the tsop rather than having a config file on the hdd. If anyone has it could you please PM me? I have 3ds max and deep exploration but I can't find this, any help or links appreciated
