Is there any way to see what bios are flashed without going through all of the switch combos?

Hello everyone and thank you for taking the time to read my post,requesting urgent help with regards my.Xecuter X2.6CE modchip. As you can see in the photo i've uploaded.The red 5v socket is damaged (it was like this when i was given the chip,many years ago with the front switch board and chip to switch board cable BUT their wasn't the red 5v wire included).The socket's plastic has been damaged and it's missing it's 2 tiny pins.The 2 solder pads are still there though and i have tried soldering on a peice of wire to go from the solder pad on the chip to the 5v point on my V1.6 Xbox. No luck what so ever,even though i have tried the wire on both pads (one by one and not bridged together of course) When i power up my console,it will quickly power on then switch off,then again quickly switch on,then switch off.It does this 3 times then it'll stay on with a black screen and the front RF boards LED's flashing from red to green,red to green (Fragging i think it's known as) Please can anyone help me as to where i need to solder the piece of wire on the chip so i can use the chip in my V1.6 Xbox ? Hi, I upgraded my xbox to a 1TB sata drive but I can only see 123gb. I understand I need to update the bios on the modchip I have which I believe is an Xecuter 2.3 lite. I tried using Hexen to upgrade to x2.4981 but I get the message !!Flash Not Writeable!! This happens if I have the switch set to protect or unprotect, Bank 1 or Bank 2. I downloaded a copy of x2.5035 so I could go with that version outside of Hexen, but I don't know how to do that. Please could someone assist me. Thank you.

Hi, I've got an xecuter X3IR installed and its all working but I have got a problem I cant seem to figure out? When X3IR is enabled the light around the power button changes colour, one side is red and one side is green? How do I get it to go back to just be green? Ive connect it up to X3 IR manager but there isn't a setting for changing the power button LED colour or am I missing something? Or is this just a feature to tell you X3IR is enabled? If I unplug the X3IR the light goes back to green both sides so it defiantly something to do with the X3IR. Any help would be much appriciated Cheers

Hi, I want to get back into making custom x2 4981 bios's but need the XBOX TEXT.3ds file as mentioned in the screen grab below (x-projects.org is long gone). I know I could use a newer bios but I liked messing with this particular one and having everything on the tsop rather than having a config file on the hdd. If anyone has it could you please PM me? Ok guys got an issue that is getting on my wick. Slapped a 2.3b Lite into a 1.6, used a clone LPC Rebuild Kit and proceeded to boot the console. D0 was connected to the board and ground was connected to the screw hole as usual. As soon as you put power to the console it will boot up then reset 2 times before FRAGGING. Only when D0 is connected and chip is off. With chip on with M8 1.6 Bios I can get a boot with Evo shield but it hangs after that and still turns on as soon as a power cord is plugged in. Front panel doesn't work at all. Remove the chip or D0, and it'll boot fine to the original softmod it came from. I've reworked it with my iron, even given it a hot air rework. Which point is most likely the culprit? Apologies on the lead free solder. Was using a friends over my own.

Evening all i've got 2 2.3b Lites and one 2.6. Anybody got the install diagrams as I can't seem to find them only the 2.3b+. Also with my LPC Rebuild kit they should work for 1.6's as long as I flash a working bios / Cromwell before installing? As I've ran out of Aladdins and have a few consoles in need of work.

This may sound weird and maybe it is but can I softmod or better should I softmod with the xecuter hardmod installed? I heard modern softmods are better.

Hi all, Does anyone know what the latest bios version release is for the Xecuter 3 CE modchip is? I have a v1.6 of the Xbox.

I bought an xbox on ebay and now I noticed somethings I didn't before. Can anyone identify what is in the picture. I appoligize If this is in the wrong category this is my first post. In the first picture it is those 2 dots next to the disc tray. In the second picture it's the blue output. And in the third there appears to be something coming out of the controller. Also this was advertised as an xecuter 2 mod chipped xbox, and I paid $90.

A friend gave me back the xbox I made for him years ago. I want to update it for my grankids. It is chipped with an xecuter 2, is a version 1.6, and currently has an ancient 150GB hdd. Primarily, I want to put in a new HDD, planning on a 500GB, and use a Startech SATA/IDE adapter with an 80 wire cable. Then I want to add Coinops, and XBMC; the XBMC primarily for karaoke. Also a decent dash, thinking probably the last UnleashX. I have copied all the contents onto a drive via ftp. I am confused as to how to 1) install the new hdd and 2) how to install the dash/apps. From what I read on the wiki and elsewhere, supposedly, I can just install the drive, boot, and the xecuter wizard should walk me through formatting the drive. I assume that then I can put in the Hexen disk and it will install the dash's. Is this right? My xbox modding days are long behind me (even the 360 mod days, lol). Any help is appreciated.

Is anyone interested in helping us modders out I contacted xecuter about the xecuter 3 mod chip and they said they could sell the mod chip again if somone wanted to buy 5,000 or more mod chips they said the project would cost 30,000 dollars at least but at least we know we can still get them if anyone would want to help out on this project just send a message to me.

Hello everyone! I recently picked up a box with Xkiller Xecuter 2 and while trying to make a USB cord for it, I somehow fried the circuitry for port 2. I had another box for spare parts and tried swapping the headers, no luck. My real questions are A: Do they make controller hubs (like a 2 or 4 way splitter) that I can just plug into port 1 so that I can still have a 2nd controller detected? I've searched everywhere and couldn't find one and if not B: Can I just splice the wires (on the internal plug) that go to port 2 on to the wires for port 1 and still have it see the second controller when plugged? I'm thinking so since it is just a USB interface... But I would love some input before I try.

Hello hi I'm looking to buy a 4 by 20 executor 3 LCD screen just the screen and bezel only. I have the chip already installed in my main go to Xbox and is running excellent. I'm just looking for a working screen that is known working .. with the connection that will connect directly into the chip without soldering. I am well aware that the screens are a little difficult to get your hards on... but I did find some on eBay they just did not have the specific end that plugs into the mod chip. If all else fails I will have to buy one of these and solder them directly to the chip. But by doing that I am seriously lowering the value of the chip in the future. I would like to purchase or trade for this X3 lcd screen with bezel and connection to the original X3 chip.. If you have an extra screen and you would like it to go to a good home I'm your guy.
