Hi everyone. What Xecuter MOD Chip is this? I tried browsing the stickies but couldn't find a matching picture. The only thing I remember is that this was solderless. Also, is there a diagram somewhere that I can solder it into the XBOX instead? Thanks in advance.

I installed a aladdin xt modchip and when I have the chip out of the system it powers on but when the chip is plugged in the system won't power on. Does anyone know the problem?

I have the parts to do either a TSOP flash or a DUO X2 GS modship install. Not sure which one is the most beneficial. Also have a 2TB HDD I'll be putting in it for storing my disc images. Just trying to figure out if I should softmod and then flash the TSOP and have the chip as a backup or just go straight for the chip install. Thoughts?

Hi im new to this forum but not new to modding . soon I will be installing an alladin plus x2 chip in my version 1.6 xbox therefore hard modding it . I seen where people are putting xbmc origins on their softmodded x boxes but find little information on getting a dashboard as such on it after I hard modded it ? so please 1.could somebody point me towards a prebuilt xbmc origins with instructions on how to install after I have successfully hard modded my xbox note: I will be using a ide to sata adapter to use a 2 tb hd or larger in the system 2. I plan to ftp my game files over to the hd another question I have. Can I use the hard drive as an external hard drive after I have installed a front end and transfer all my files at once with an external sata to usb adapter ? Hey guys! A friend brought me a dead console he found somewhere. I can’t post any pictures at the moment, but it looks to be a 1.5. It... doesn’t have a TSOP chip for some reason. In fact, the pads for it have been removed altogether. Can anything be be done with this? I have an old Xecuter 2.1 lite I could slap in if it’s worth the trouble. The chip’s been laying around for quite a while anyway.

Any one can identify this chip it has no marking and at startup it sais xecuter 2 but cant find an identical one

Hello everyone. Quite new to this site, I was more active a couple of years ago when it came to the OG Xbox, but since, much else in life has taken it's time,, and I got stucj in the RGH business some years,, and I notice how quickly the memory fades. So now, when time has come back to dust off the old consoles that's been standing in the closet for some years now, many of the sites has been gone with the wind,, but, then I found this one : and I'm glad to see that the OG Xbox community still flourishes,, with a lot of new updates and upgrades since I last installed XBMC from a AID 4. disc. So,, I thought I would see if there's any bright minded folks that know something about a chip I discovered in a recently purchased 1.6. I searched about it but all I come across is dead links. The chip is a Muppet-X,, neither Kermit or Animal, but a white one with a 4 pin connector where only D0 is used, no BT etc,, those I removed, just want always on mode. But, I can't find any information about flash bank sizes, or the switch, so I have not been able to update the bios on this rare thing. So is there anyone with information about this thing I would be grateful.

I am planning my first slim, with my newly acquired (and first) chipped Xbox. But I am not sure what chip it is, and what I should do. What bios to flash and so on, I have only worked with softmods before. How ro run the Xbox without a dvd drive? Sent fra min NX551J via Tapatalk

Remembering back to when I purchased my first Xecuter 3 mod chip, I was annoyed to discover the bank switch did not come with it. Payed the price for getting a used one, or at least making sure it came with everything. I looked all over to see if someone could help me jumper connections so I could use the different banks available to no avail. Finally I bought one new, which is not a choice nowadays. So I am dissecting switches and making schematics for each, starting with the most popular Xecuter 3. I have already mapped out the Xecuter 2.2 Pro and Xecuter 2.3b and will make a .jpg for them as well. Not being familiar with the programs used to edit pictures and make these, it took me 3 times as long to make this one schematic than it took me to test and map it out. I'm saying this in hopes I won't get flamed for poor work, I just want to help. Let me know what you think.

hey everyone, forgive me for asking the question, but can somebody identify this mod chip? when the screen boots Xecuter 2 displays, it plays back ups and loads xexen disk, the forum is quite and most people are on facebook page so thought i'd start a new post, dont want to stuff anything up before i start tinkering with the xbox, help me!

Hello, I found this chip into v1.6 console. When power on the console there is no image, led blink red and after 4-5 second the console power off. Removing the chip the console works fine. I'd like to identify the chip in order to see how to re-install it properly. Thanks

Hi everybody, first time here in SO long. I've had a modded Xbox since 2003 which I just turned back on after I heard out about the clock capacitor problem. Mine was ok (I was able to remove it and clean up alright) but having it back on I've found the hard drive to be quite loud and maybe not running so great. I wanted to replace the hard drive but I'm not sure if my old Chameleon modchip throws a wrench into the tutorials I've been looking at. If possible the method of hotswapping the DVD drive with the new HDD and cloning the original drive seems easiest. Any suggestions before I start fumbling through this are very much appreciated! And I have all the stats on my current setup if needed. Thanks so much for the help!!

Came across a beautiful selection of wiring diagrams for a bunch of commonly found mod chips. These images are in high-quality HD very easy to read can be downloaded and zoomed in to read perfectly. I am not the Creator of these pictures. The Creator is YouTube channel techno on top. This person normally does Xbox mods on YouTube. There's a video where he shows each of these pictures for 1 minute. I merely took a screenshot of each. Thought it would help out the community here. I recently acquired an Xbox with this modchip. I would like to reuse it another Xbox but cannot seem to find any info on it. I am guessing its a Team Xecuter model.......Anyone have a link to a tutorial for install and flashing?

Hi, I have put this on the Facebook group also. I have an X2.6 chip in an old v1.0 Xbox and I was going to pull it out and put it in a different one however the PCB with the bank switches has gone missing. No idea where it is. What are my options? Ideally would like to have the full functionality and flash it again. Anyone have the switch PCB and want to part with it has anyone done their own switches for it? The ribbon cable to the non existent switch PCB is intact.
