Original xbox 3d printed parts repository

Recommended Posts

I think its a good idea to have a thread with all of the 3d printable parts listed here so that others can find them easily.

I'll start by adding my own creations, here is a replacement CPU/GPU bracket. Made in Fusion 360:

Anyone have or know the location of the CPU Blocking Plate that directs airflow? I'm trying to resurrect a v1.4 console with a new fan.

I did find a 3d print of a custom made fan shroud for the ogxbox at reddit I believe (couldn't find the url). I'll the stl file and a virus total check link. Also look into the maddysudz zip file that I linked above. It has 4 different fan shroud stl files that you can look into.

I see some debate in the enhanced fan cooling thread. Was there ever any definitive conclusion on if it’s worth the effort or not?

I think the conclusion is that the biggest benefit is fitting a modern silent fan that also happens to have a better air flow than the original one that was a compromise of size and cost.
I will go for near silence and reliability over the factory fitted ones any day.
