The arduino can be sourced locally but the LCD is the problem Any HD44780 should work the problem is the fitting because of the size the one I am going to use iss the one from eBay. Hello lostartz I know the internet is already getting a work out with people working from home in the last week and even my internet speed was down by 10mbs in both down and uploads during the day. and that was before the the shops and pubs,coffee shops,restaurants have closed now that the schools are closing I can see it getting slower at least the number of people complaining of no internet is low at the moment in Canberra. Good to see you have got it working as for a reset the only thing I do is delete the game saves in the UDATA and TDATA folders You could delete the games from the hard drive but I would leave them. Hi Viggen66 Thank for the clue about the fan speed in coinops Ninja I found the delaut setting was 65c which would reduce the fan speed to 2% To save everyone trolling looking the setting I changed was in the guisetting.xml file <targettemperature>50</targettemperature> Cheers SS Dave Soft modding is like masturbating, It get's the job done but it's nothing like the real thing.

Hello Sceriffo 1st please clean that poor Xbox at least remove the dust. 2nd Remove the wire that's on the BT point and add a link like the pic below That will force the modchip to be active all the time. All my ram upgrades run for 24 hours then power and heat cycled before leaving the bench and all others get at least 12 hour burn in. Disconnect the 2 wires (BT and L1) the front of the PCB and leave the D0 wire alone then ground the BT on the mod chip The linking BT to ground makes the chip always active. Cheers SS Dave Soft modding is like masturbating, It get's the job done but it's nothing like the real thing.

Hello Traluc It sounds like the new hard drive is locked and maybe with a different key.to the motherboard has in the EEprom. What AV lead are you using Composite,Component? and what it the Xbox set to in the MS dash PAL, NTSC 480,720,1080? I would suggest an offcut of plywood about 50% bigger than the Xbox rather than news paper. It's cheap and non conductive also if it get stained or dirty it's not a big loss. As for a fume extractor unless your working in a confined space soldering for hours on end I think is a overkill and wearing latex gloves while soldering it's not for me. Hi Subieroadkill N64 freak has a really compact 2 port version but he is waiting on parts to make some more so probably approx 5 weeks delay maybe send a PM to him and get on the waiting list . His version is plug and play just add a MS 360 wireless receiver for the Xbox 360 controllers or a 8bitdo receiver for a Xbox one controller and your off and playing.
