About Me

  1. Ready to use ID included default.jpg & default.tbn The vast majority have respected the original title, in others the title has been corrected or added since the default.xbe itself did not contain it. The Japanese titles have been translated into English A few others have the title translated into Spanish. Trainers works perfectly https://bit.ly/495hh1w
  2. Please refer to image. I am looking for almost everything in this image. Though I have the 24k so the actual mod chip is optional. -iRuinLunches
  3. What is the the most straight forward way to convert iso to xiso. I think I can use extract-iso and quix to recompile it but is there another way? I want to batch a few. Im not looking for CCI.
  4. Hello everyone and sorry for my english translated by google. My question is if there is something similar to Repackinator but without CCI compression, that is, instead of converting to CCI format, convert to ISO format. If the game is in folder format, convert it to ISO format without modifying anything. If the file is already an ISO, do not modify anything. In all cases, create a folder with the name of the default.xbe title, filtering the characters not allowed by the XFAT format, create the default.xbe inside that folder and inject the game's xbe title, extract the icon in default format .tbn/jpg In no case compress or modify anything in the game.
  5. Can XBOX games be read in RAR format or do they need to be ISO format in order to transfer over by QWIX? OR can they be transfered over in another way to FTP and keep in RAR format and the XBOX can read it?
  6. Someone gave me an Xbox with an Xecuter2 modchip and the Avalaunch dashboard. It uses Px HD Loader for playing games. I searched around and couldn`t find how to get my iso's / xiso's working (converted) for use with Px HD Loader. The DVD drive isn`t working and the only option in the dashboard seems to be loading / converting from CD / DVD. The Xbox contains and 200GB IDE drive, so I can`t hook it up to my PC, wipe the stuff with Fatxplorer and start over. Any suggestions how to convert? Then I can upload my xiso's through FTP and then convert them on the Xbox.
  7. I've been doing a crazy amount of research, and thanks to how scattered information is, I decided to ask for a "definitive" answer: What is the best way of loading games onto an Xbox? While I know there are varying definitions of "best" I'm mostly referring to compatibility (no random breakage) and file size (as small as possible.) I initially assumed that CCI was the best, but due to Repackinator refusing to compress my redump ISOs (unless it was via context menu, but then I had no default.xbe), I looked into the other two methods (XISO and extracted files in a folder) I personally find it easiest for me to just extract everything with XDVDMulleter and drop it onto my HDD, with the few test games I've used work seemingly perfect, I can't help but wonder if any issues can come from this method?
  8. Hello, Been out of the xbox modding game for a while. Was checking out some posts here and there and I see people mentioning xiso files. I understand ISO and HDD ready games. But what exactly is xiso and is there any noticeable difference between that and iso games? Really all I want to do is transfer some of my backups via FTP to my modded console's HDD. Since the xiso files are much smaller, it seems to me that they might be the DVD rips of games without all the extra 'fluff' of making a 1-1 DVD image of a game. Would that be correct?
  9. On a modded PS2 and Wii you can play games directly from iso images. This can also be done a Xbox. You just need some tools, some attach/default.xbe's the correct bioses and some dashboards. I have tried to follow a tread on xbmc4xbox and another one on emuxtras on how to do this. But I gave up as it was unclear to me where to get hold of the attach.xbe file and also if i had to re-flash my bios to make this work. I wonder if someone here can make a good tutorial on how to make this work. ( I use xbmc4gamers as my main dash, And i have two xboxes, one with evox m8+ and one with indbios 5004. ) Thanks,
  10. Hello all the Problem is only some DVD rips play on XBMC? The movies either refuse to play, or get past the WB sponsor logo and I get a failed video playback pop up and crash to dash. When I use DVD2Xbox to rip the movie it makes 2 track ISO files. part 00.iso part 01.iso it splits the ISO’s but the division in gig is not related to failing to play.’ (board specks) I have a 1TB HD that I’m pretty happy with the content on it. I’m left with about 400gb. it’s a rescue NTSC-board, 128mb ram, Mod-Chip with IND, Version 1.2 & I used NTSC-Pal and setup Play NTSC videos at Pal rates. (background) I do like putting a physical DVD in the tray, but I have 100’s (LIKE 100’s) of DVD’s in an ottoman/cupboard! is this problem a copy-right encryption on the physical disk? would I have to FTP the ISO’s off and lower the quality of the movie and put it back on?
  11. I found that if you rip your disc with DVD2Xbox using the ISO ripper mode, the dump can be used with Repackinator. There are a few steps in the middle but it works great! Technically, you can create any kind of file you like once it is in a format Repackinator will accept. Just keep in mind that scrubbed CCI is the smallest file we can get that still known to work with title updates, DLC, and Insignia.
  12. Will user-generated iso's work, I backed up a game in iso form [to match the checksum with redump to ensure the backup made is good]. But these are 7.28 GB [due to the junk data], so if I extract the iso and then remake an iso from the raw files the newly created iso file is smaller, as now the junk data is removed. Will such iso's created work fine. The newly released Cerbios supports games in iso format, but i do not know if only original iso(s) are supported or user-generated ones are also. I am using this tool to make the iso from the raw game files. https://github.com/XboxDev/extract-xiso
  13. I have downloaded all the DLC I could find for games( crimson skies, mechassault etc) I am wondering if it is possible to install this dlc with iso images of these games or do they have to be the HDD ready version of the game.
  14. Hey. Since I didn't saw a topic anywhere I'm going to create this one. So here's a topic about game ISO's with problems like : Invalid TOC; Illegal signs; Tto long file names. I assume it isn't nearly complete so please feel free to add your game. ******************************************************************* XBox game ISO's with "Invalid TOC". This is for the uploads "ByAlvro" and archive.org "ReDump" ISO's. And it is for PAL and NTSC games (So both version are affected). How ever, if you are going to just create an XISO out of the ISO with extract-xiso you end up with an XISO with invalid TOC. To avoid that unpack the "broken" iso then make your own new XISO out of the files with Xdvdmulleter or Qwix. Simply drag and drop your ISO on the extract-xiso.exe and wait a moment. 15. I have a few big games (> 4GB) ripped from Game DVDs on PC by PowerISO. But I don't know how to split or slice them into smaller ISOs. Does anyone happen to know any method and tools that is able to do that, so that I can FTP them to Xbox and play the smaller ISO directly from Xbox? ** (my xbox DVD ROM is too old to read most CD/DVDs nowadays, not even the newly burned HeXEn DVD) Thanks Peter

    downloading Iso

I haven't played around with a modded Xbox for a while but I recently purchased one. I have downloaded a few games to FTP over however they are downloading as iso files. I am wondering what's the best way to FTP them over, when I try to FTP the normal iso files they don't work.

  18. I'm running into an issue where just the following 4 NTSC USA games won't load on original firmware from retail disc (get stuck at the Xbox logo + Microsoft text after putting in the disc), or from hard disk via ISO or extracted files (just go to a black screen where even IGR won't work): Chicken Little Shellshock: Nam '67 Without Warning The Suffering: Ties That Bind I'm positive that these are good discs (used for the tests I've run on original firmware) and ISOs that I've ripped / converted myself and validated against Redump hashes (for the ISO loading failures). Full details on the setup and things I've tested follow: I've got an NTSC 1.2 Xbox, upgraded to a 2TB drive, using the recommended ~937 GB F/G configuration with 64 KB clusters on those partitions, on a StarTech adapter. The drive has been locked, so I can still use stock firmware. Clock capacitor has been removed (and clock time set), and the 5 largest capacitors (3 for CPU / GPU and the two large ones on the lower left / right of the board) have been replaced. An original Xenium chip is installed on firmware 2.3.1, with banks flashed for both EvoX M8+ (modded with EvoTool to add LBA48 support), and iND 5003 (the recent modified version with re-enabled XBL and reboot fix). Using 480i composite video out. The Language is set correctly in the MS dashboard to English, which should work with these 4 games. I've got the proper files in place to allow ISO mounting, and all my games are installed via this process: Dump disc with a Kreon firmware SH-D163B drive to full ISO Validate the CRC matches the Redump CRC (so I'm sure I have a known good dump and the disc isn't the problem) Extract the files from the Redump format ISO with Xbox Image Browser 2.9 build 0350 Use Qwix to turn the extracted files back into an XISO compatible for hard drive loading Split the XISO, if over 4GB, at 4292870144 bytes into two pieces, and name them gamename.1.iso / gamename.2.iso Throw the ISO into F or G, and run the XBMC4Gamers ISO prep script to put them into a unique subfolder, as well as extract the thumbnail and game name and put them into the launcher XBE that actually mounts the disc files and plays them. This gives me 2 ways to launch my games: I can either launch the ISO from XBMC4Gamers, or I can boot into the Xenium menu with the eject button, choose to launch the stock TSOP, boot into the original dashboard, then put the original disc in and play without any mods whatsoever. I have hundreds of games working perfectly this way, but those 4 games won't boot on this Xbox, no matter what I do. If I try to launch them through the ISO loading method from XBMC4Gamers the screen just goes black, then stays black indefinitely. IGR no longer works, and I have to hard power down the Xbox. (The same thing is true if I extract the files to F:\games and try to run the default.xbe.) If I try to launch them by booting into the original firmware on TSOP, waiting for the original dashboard to load, then putting the original disc in the tray, the Xbox changes to the Xbox logo screen, with "Microsoft" below the Xbox logo (aka "I've recognized a legit game and I'm loading it"), and then just stays on that screen forever, without actually starting the game. The only thing that will break out of that is ejecting the disc, which takes me back to the dashboard, or powering off. I've tried clearing the cache drives before loading these. I've also tried deleting the TDATA and UDATA for those games (as well as backing up all of E and wiping it clean). This has me stumped, because: I know the discs are good (dumping with a Kreon matches 100% to the Redump ISO as validated by hashes, plus 3 of the 4 look factory new) I know the disc drive can read games fine, as it can load any other original disc I throw at This doesn't appear to be a copy protection thing, because it happens equally when running EvoX M8+ / iND 5003 and loading an ISO or with stock firmware and loading the original disc, and when loading the original disc, we don't even get past the point where the Xbox logo / Microsoft text beneath it leave the screen to hand control over to the game. I know the Xbox is reading the disc, because if I boot into modded, rename E:\TDATA and E:\UDATA to E:\TDATAold and E:\UDATAold, clear cache drives, then shutdown, boot into stock firmware, put the disc in, let the system hang at the Xbox / Microsoft logo, eject the disc to return to the MS dashboard, and then check the Memory tab, the only entry there (as expected) is the one entry for the game I tried to boot, with its correct picture. I can't find any reports on the restored xboxscene forums, here, or reddit claiming that those games had issues booting for anyone else (though they're niche titles, so maybe no one has tried and bothered to post they don't work?), or any sort of Wikipedia article or the like talking about the games with a section mentioning they have issues loading on certain versions of Xboxes, etc. So in lack of that, it makes me think they should work and there's something else I'm missing. Any thoughts as to why these and just these 4 games don't work, either through ISO loading, extraction to hard disk, or known good retail disk on retail firmware would be really appreciated - I'm stumped!
  19. In case I want to launch a game in ISO form ran with the attacher default.xbe instead of doing the regular route for game storage, is it possible to get the dashboard to recognize the ISO and list it in the Games section? I did edit the attacher default.xbe with the proper game title but that still didn't show up, neither in applications nor games. Edit: I got it to recognize by putting the folder in my regular F/games folder. I was putting it in a separate ISOs folder but F/games is the only folder the dash seems to acknowledge for the games list.
  20. Hi, I have managed to load games directly from ISO files without a problem, but today I played Futurama and it doesn't save. I then extracted the ISO and I can save the game and options without problem. I still like to make this work from running it directly from the ISO. Is there anybody who has encounters this and an idea how to fix this? I have used the "XISO to HDD Installer" to create the default.xbe but I wonder if this is a certificate issue of some kind.
  21. Hi all got several Sega games that I just can't get to load from my HDD. most notably Jest Set Radio Future, Panzer Dragoon Orta and Gunvalkyrie. I know they all have an issues with the v.1.6 but I`m using a tsop V.1.4 with an up to date UnleashX as main dashboard. for each game I have tried different sources of ISO's and Redumps but all versions act the same way. the game Freezes on Sega logo (Jest Set) or when loading first level (Gunvalkyrie, Panzer) tried to load them trough different dashboards (XBMC4GAMERS, emustation etc) to no avail. been reading all relevant discussions and couldn't find another example of this problem, nor a solution, so it must be something with my console's configuration. any ideas? some pics of my board and settings https://photos.app.goo.gl/iEzaFfu6n2dcFvgp8 any help will be appreciated, been struggling with this for quite some time now. Tnx!

    Testing an Iso

Hello, Im new to this forum so i hope im in the right place. Im having trouble getting a burned iso to launch on the xbox. Does the abgxxx350 tool work for the og xbox or is it just for the 360? Is there a way I can test an iso before burning it in order to narrow down the problem. many thanks in advance. Id be glad to donate to the site for any advice
  24. Hello i have all the xbox iso classes of 7,641.760gb I tried to extract them with quix and c-xbox tool but it does not extract them, I can extract the iso only with the xbox image browser, but it does extract one at a time, is there any program that extracts multiple iso at the same time? thank you
  25. Hello, just wanna know: how do I check if a certain ISO I have is XISO or normal ISO ? Once I know what kind of ISO it is, how to correctly burn it ? So far, I've burned some installers correctly like Slayer Installer 2.7 and Hexen 2018, on a DVD-R and they work well. But I'm not pretty sure, especially about Dual Layers, which cost a lot, so I don't want to fail the burning you know. Any proper advice answering my questions ? Thank you so much.
