  1. I upgraded the HDD in my Xbox to a 320GB SATA using a SATA/IDE adapter and upgraded the cable to a 80 conductor. The Xbox is a v1.0 with a AladinXT modchip. BIOS is iND-BiOS 504.67 (F and G) installed from a Hexen 2019 DVD. I prepared the hard drive using Hexen 2019 and everything works ok except I cant adjust the partition sizes in xbpartitioner. If I understand it right the Extended partitions 6 and 7 in xbpartitioner is for partition F and G. How do I take the space from 7 (G) and give it all to 6 (F)? I tried pressing the A button (and every other button for that matter) and nothing happens. Do I need to change the BIOS to an F only version? if so the only iND-BiOS 504 in Hexen 2019 says force 480p..will that be a problem? thanks
  2. I successfully created and locked a 500GB IDE Seagate Hard drive using HDM V1.9. I transferred it to my xbox and it gets stuck at the xbox splash screen at start up for ages and then goes to Error 13 - any ideas? (It can take 2-3 minutes for the word "Microsoft" to appear under the xbox splash). Thanks
  3. So I got a STartech Sata to IDE adapter and successfully made and locked a new SATA 500 GG hard drive using HDM v1.9. i got an 80 pin cable and connected my SATA drive and sure enough it booted to the Xbox dashboard. I had my Rocky 5 softmod files and Splinter Cell diskready to go but I can’t load Splinter Cell - I get a message reading - “Your Xbox cannot recognize this disc. Make sure it’s an Xbox game, DVD movie, or audio CD. Also check to see if the disc is dirty or damaged.” I have tried a different dvd drive from another Xbox that I know loads the game and I get the same message. In fact I get the same message if I try to load any other Xbox game disk. Any ideas greatly appreciated
  4. So I used HDM v1.9 and created a new xbox hard drive (40GB) that works. However, I don't see the extra space when I turn it on - it isn't softmodded yet. I'm just wondering if I should put the hard drive back in the PC and create a F Folder using HDM. Will the F folder naturally partition the rest of the available space on the drive or will the ROCKY 5 softmod make all the extra available space in the E drive? Any advice greatly appreciated.
  5. Hi - I recently updated my hard drive using HDM v 1.9 and it is now ready to mod - I have two options 1. Since I have all the files from back in the day to use Splinter Cell the SID I could mod it easily then I can use put Rocky 5 over it using the Rocky 5 disk. OR 2. Go to the trouble of setting up Rocky 5 Memory card mod -using a flash drive and Splinter Cell - have all the leads from back in the day and recently downloaded all the files and software needed. My question is does it matter if I choose the lazy option (number 1 above) or since I'm starting afresh with a new drive should I take the Option 2 route? Thanks in advance
  6. Hiya, just TSOPed my 1.2v Oxbox and put in a 160gb hdd. I split the F & G partitions 74ish gb each. The F partition show 74ish gb but G partion is 0gb. Used HeXEn 18 and the evox M8+ bios F+G, Both F & G values showed in XBpartitioner 1.3.
  7. Is there a place where I can get an upgrade for my old xbox? I was looking for one those freidmtech dream series, but to my bad luck their website is Offline? is there any possibility to get and upgrade console somwhere else? ebay doesn’t have any. Thanks for any possible replys.
