So I still have a crystal edition with 2 controllers in a original flip carrying case from 2004 while deployed in South Korea. I had to order this supreme package Xbox and wait a week for it. This Xbox was built by an actual tech business that was inside camp Casey px shopping complex on post. It has all the trimmings, HDMI, read and write drive, emulators for every other consol, flip carrying bag, all built in 2004 around launch date. Unfortunately I was so excited, and I had the carrying case, so I left the boxes there so I wouldn't have to walk to the barracks with it. It has all manuals and even the receipt. Believe it costed 450-480 bucks. Has anyone else ever come across one like I have?

I have Xbox Crystal 1.6, with RGB connection I get a black screen,tried console with a two different cables, one is original and the other a working chinese cable, having other Xboxes and i found the problem in the console, it only works if connected with the AV cable the one with the 3 RCAs, is it possible to repair it?

For those who haven't seen my previous posts, let me explain the situation: My Xbox is experiencing some strange graphical glitches that I can't seem to resolve. Here's what's happening: 1. When the console is left idle, it automatically plays a video after a while, and everything looks perfectly normal. 2. However, as soon as I start a game or navigate through game menus, annoying graphical issues appear. To give you a clear picture of the problem, I've recorded a video demonstrating these issues. I don't have a hot air gun for circuit boards, so I couldn't try reflowing the chip. I'm really at a loss here and would greatly appreciate any insights or suggestions. Has anyone encountered similar issues or have ideas on what might be causing this? Thank you in advance for any help you can provide. Hi, i need info about my xbox 1.6 console modded by me, with Aladdin XT Plus and flashed a Cerbios 2.4.2, mod with SATA adapter (cheaper edition) buy online a some years ago, the HDD is SATA 500GB with original IDE HDD cable. The question is if the config is ok or change bios UDMA mode?

hi all im new here nice to meet you all i have a crystal and a few other hardmodded systems (all bought 2nd hard after MODDED) and i was told the crystal was working unfortunately ive been scammed for a big amount by the end of this i just want one good xbox (with the crystal shell) with upgraded storage ive ordered an IDE / Sata adapter, plan to buy a 4tb drive tommorow is there anything else i need to 1) swap the working hard modded / tsop flashed system into a crystal case 2) not hurt myself witih the live PSU? 3) upgrade the drive and how do i change the bios to make sure it supports 4tb or higher? (cerbios iirc?) not sure what chip any of my xboxs are using as i havent opened any of them up, but ill likely choose the most silent sounding xbox and just swap the board from that. (or try to repair the crystal if theres a way to diagnose the apparently working system from FRAG) i have no idea what revisions my systems are either ie 1.6 1.0 1.1 1.2 1.3 1.4 1.5 etc? thankyou!

THIS CONSOLE HAS BEEN SOLD. 26/06/24 Console is a 1.0, clock cap removed. Console has 128mb and has HDMI out. Unit is PAL and as such needs 220v. (IMPORTANT - This is NOT a Stellar or HD+, this HDMI mod predates both of those. This is an N64Freak motherboard, HDMI and 128mb both installed by him. Output is on par with the better external HDMI adapters such as the Chimeric). No controllers or cables included. 500gb sata HDD with XBMC4Gamers as dash. No content other than that. I also have an Xecuter 3 jewel and a few spare 3d printed buttons for the bank switches. Controller ports have blue LEDS, player 2 port LED has a loose connection and sometimes doesn't light up, this will be a simple fix for anyone who can mod an Xbox tho Putting it up here first before eBay. I'd rather it go to someone who actually knows what it is and how to use it than some randomer who will bombard me with questions after buying it. You might guess its not the first time I've sold one of these things All chip and Front panel features work as intended. I have had this console since the mid 00's and will be sad to see it go but I have no use for it anymore and Its time to let someone else enjoy it. Looking for offers around £500 plus shipping. I could be convinced to split the Xecuter bits out and sell just the Faceplate and chip if the offer is right! PM me with any questions and or offers ANY serious offer will be considered. As the tittle states I'm looking for some advice on removing the internal molding marks on a crystal case, the rf shield was rusted tf so it was removed (and might try removing the posts that held it in too) Trying to do a dvt-3 devkit inspired build and wanting it looking primo. Can the metal parts be separated from the housing without damaging the metal parts? and metal parts will not rust, but I want to clean the top case 2.With that said, what's a good technique for THIS case Crystal cleaning? 3.the casing is not yellow, but i want to clean it once and for all Anyone care to share their experience? p.s sorry, i don't speak english, just that is what google translate says

Hello everyone! Obviously a little new here. Looking to get my 1.6 repaired if anyone can help me out. Basically, my son and I were playing a game and console completely turned off. Turned it back on and it immediately shut off. Tried again and it wouldn’t turn on anymore. Just a click. I ordered a new power supply thinking that may be the culprit, swapped it out and still nothing. Console is softmodded and has a larger HDD that I did myself about 6-7 years ago. I rarely play (have 2 kids under 5) but my autistic son is really into sonic (which is installed on the HDD). My original sega is in storage:( I also would have to look for the original HDD drive which is probably in storage as well since I haven’t had it in there for years. At this point I’m sure it’s a motherboard issue, but definitely want to get it working again. Anyhow, let me know what possible options are! Thanks again!

Hello all i have added a blue LED strip to my OG Soft Mod. is there somewhere I can JUST buy the Hard Drive tray and DVD tray in the clear plastic? The LED will only fit flat in the bottom of the Xbox on top of the mother board. I have taken the backs off the controller ports so the light shines through. but a lot of the LED light is lost inside the body and there are “hot-spots” of light instead of a nice glow any links will be much appreciated thanks

Started my Xbox for the firat time in ages. i heard bubblig noise and a strong small hit me. So i pulled out the power cord and opend the Xbox. Could only find some liqud that Smelled stron on the harddrive pleas help.

Just plugged in the power cord and something in the power supply literally went "pop". Think it's a Delta 1.4 power supply. Is it worth buying a replacement or is the whole console likely toast? Saw a small flash through the right side vent where the PSU sit. Have another delta power supply lying around but think it's from a 1.6 so figure it's risky to put it in. Any ideas? Edit: Discovered a burnt screw sitting in the middle of it. Must've just been a loose screw floating around that dropped in and killed it.

I don't have a ton of experience with the OG Xbox, most of my time was spent back in the day on Xbox 360 mods but I acquired and kept these consoles over time, but don't need to hold onto them anymore. I know this is also my first post, so If anyone wants feedback for my accounts from eBay, se7ensins, Reddit, tcgplayer, timestamped photos/videos/video chats, whatever, let me know. First off is this debug kit. I know nothing about it other than it was opened at some point. I fired it up the other day and it sounds like a fan bearing is going out on it. Only interesting thing on it was the audio tool pictured. I know nothing about where the console came from other than it has two tags saying "MS ASSET #" with two different different numbers. I heard from the previous owner it came out of a studio in the Redmond area. $250 + ship Crystal Xbox with converted 120v power supply and X3 modchip. The previous owner said this is a European console they imported, swapped the power supply, installed an X3 modchip, and a 320GB hard drive. I just reflashed it today with the X3 BIOS and Avalaunch is configured as the current launcher. $250 + ship Here are two prototype Krypton Xbox 360 Controllers I have too. Not OGxbox, but I thought they may be of interest to some. I'm thinking $85 for the 1st with the better label and $80 for the 2nd one in slightly more used shape. Payment through Paypal preferred. Hi all I was playing Black earlier (great game) and left it for a while, came back and it was frozen. Not too surprised. So a couple of restarts later and it's just getting worse. To the point where I can only get into XBMC for a minute or two, but can't launch a game without it freezing. At this point I can still hold the white button and get into the X3 boot menu. The power supply looks in a bad way, and I have an identical model lying around, so I swap it out and - no dice, pretty much the same thing as before. Try changing the hard drive: Acts up a lot, get one or two boots out of it before i'm back to square one again. Notice I can still boot into that blue screen where you can flash stuff, I figured maybe my BIOS had gone bad with all the freezes and restarts. Drop a new bios into a folder named C:/BIOS. Load back into the blue screen and manage to start flashing, gets about 3/4s of the way through and it just freezes again. At this point it's completely fucked, just fragging, occasionally it gets to the "X" BIOS screen. Absolutely heartbroken at this, it belonged to a friend of a friend who died in 2005 in a motorcycle accident. If anyone has any idea what could be up with it i'm all open to ideas or paying for repairs (UK) if someone really knows what they're doing. I really don't get it, I pretty much ruled out the HDD, i don't THINK it's the PSU since i replaced it and same again. Just don't know what's up with it. Won't boot into a Hexen 2019 disc I made either. Please help!!!!

I accidentally broke my power board and tried to search a sparepart from ebay etc. with no luck. Any idea where I could get one? One of the the 1.4 revision had a a board which is little diffeferent than the one in Crystal so I didn´t try that one...
