Pics as promised: Case is a mismash. black base like the DVT consoles, jewel swap to green, green paint on dvd cover lettering, also gave the controller a jewel swap as well. usual 80-wire + startech IDE->SATA TSOP'd with cerbios 2.3.2 beta + udma6 patch. lower part of the filesystem picture shows where to drop any apps/shortcuts to have them appear on the xdk dash on boot, also why there's an "A" at the start so it appears at the top of the list.
-
Just throwing my hat into this; I always boot to xdk dash then have a shortcut xbe to a normal dash on f, had some issues doing that with xbmc4gamers, but the emu station variant works fine. I'll add some pics of console/filesystemlayout once I'm home

Where to find source code for the Xbox version of ScummVM?
Kalpi replied to willis's topic in General Xbox Discussion
https://digiex.net/threads/scummvm-download-for-xbox.13719/ Not source, just compiled xbe. Might have to dig around in https://github.com/scummvm/scummvm That being said that's the official mainline source, so work to be done there if you're wanting to port it. -
>Everyone talking RF shield, no mention of caps OP have you checked the other capacitors on the board? Any of them bulging at all, especially around the CPU+GPU heatsinks? Only saying as none of my boxes have the RF shielding and most of their video issues were solved by recapping (that or shoddy video cables)

Looks interesting, but seems it fills the same role as SDL, which has a much larger knowledge base behind it. But maybe I'm just stuck in my ways. >Not sure if I can port it Never know until you try, make the first step and people are likely to join in to help

Total sizeof a cci set from repackinator worked out at around 1.8 Tb for me with 2 missing games ( Puyo Pop Fever JPN & The Guy Game) you might want to check vimms for the Isos that the archive doesn't have, or myrient/1fichier if you want better DL speed.

Might wanna clear that out of your collections; one of the 'talent' is underage

is there any way to speed up the loading of the home screen?
Kalpi replied to bulkchart32's topic in Hardware Mods
There's an ongoing thread here on the forums: ogxbox.com/forums/index.php?/topic/6706-cerbios-new-xbox-bios/&do=findComment&comment=47186 Cant help with flashing your mod chip, as i've only done TSOPs. Have a look at FATXplorer, it'll help with creating hard drives. -

XISO is a way of storing your games as a single file rather than extracted files So: F:/Games/mechwarrior/mechwarrior.xiso Instead of F:/Games/mechwarrior/<a shitload of files> Extract-xiso on github can convert your folder games -

It seem your hardmod has the 80wire ide cable is that right? Are you using a sata adapter or is the 3tb an ide drive? It could be worth trying a newer sata drive with a UDMA5 bios such as cerbios. My 'big' 1G1R drive is a 4Tb that is mostly full and it boots to F drive XBMC in around 5-10 seconds. Anything tact might be using XISO files rather than extracted game folders; to cut down on the thousands of tiny files it needs to parse through. Edit: Try checking the load order of your dashes as well, it might be going through looking for dashes that arent there. Should have a minimal impact but you never know. -
Kalpi started following Injection Mold Marks Removal on Crystal , XBOX Console Game Compatibility List and MakeMHZ project stellar

The cerbios discord has an ongoing list of hdd/xiso compatability. It is however cerbios specific; but should make a good jump off point. Alternatively do as I'm doing: get a full redump set, convert to xiso, folder them with the xbmc4gamers script, then test. Any that havent worked as xiso, have as an hdd folder. 1G1R set is coming in at around 2.5Tb

2nding the startech, look for the one with the red pcb. I've used it with sata hdds up to 8tb & some ssds, using either the Titan or Cerbios bios.

Looks pretty awesome, kernel debug gear built it, as well as a load of troubleshooting stuff with that built in screen. A brief mention of "insignia enhancements" wonder what that means. Netloading iso/hdd images could be awesome. Titan support, no mention of cerbios however. Finally: 256mb RAM support, lolwut never heard of that mod. Guessing it's like the 1.6 128mb where you stack the ram chips

As the tittle states I'm looking for some advice on removing the internal molding marks on a crystal case, the rf shield was rusted tf so it was removed (and might try removing the posts that held it in too) Trying to do a dvt-3 devkit inspired build and wanting it looking primo. Cheers folks, Kalps
