  1. Hello everyone, I wanted to FTP music over to my F partition on my softmodded xbox but it does not FTP over and when I try to acces the F partition on my xbox it says Path not found or invallid. The E Partition works fine. Does someone know whats going on?
  2. I was installing some games in the G partition, but they aren't showing in the dashboard. I have a Hard-modded Xbox with EvoX (I don't know the bios and dashboard version), and he only lists the games from the F partition.
  3. So, this machine is running an X3 with a 160GB IDE drive. I wanted to mount some isos, since I won't have access to Mulleter for a little while and I need to download/install a few of the games that insignia is supporting. I went ahead and flashed the UDMA2 version of 2.03R, but it will not see my f partition... of COURSE. I'm new to diagnosing that particular problem, so I need some help. The only info I know is that the X3 bios is configured for "F gets all, no G".
  4. Hello all i do appreciate any advice and respect any knowledge added to this post I have a 1TB 1.3 XBox that is hard modded and I want to clone the 1TB to a 2TB and extend the C:// partition. I have googled my question but I am just going in circles. there is only 270 kB space left on C:// and applications like Avalauch have a warning message stuck on the screen at all times saying MAJOR error !! C:// is full, things will stop working! If I wanted to extend the C:// partition surely I would need modded bio’s? and how would I do this? I think XPartitioner is stuck with a softmod setup of leaving C:// at 1...x gig? added Question 2: is it possible to have a cloned shadow C:// drive (like an Un-modified XBox MS Dash setup) cloned as a seperate partition that I could boot into? ( example ) my modchip has two banks, so could one bank boot XBMC4Gamers and the other bank boot the Original Stock MS Dash?
  5. Good afternoon guys!! I wanted to ask a question. When you put the Half Life 2 disc in the Xbox it copies the .XZP to the internal memory of the "X" or "Y" drive, you can change this path so that it copies the .XZPs to the "F" ", " E " or "G" is another thing when some very heavy cache is copied to drive "X", or "Y" it splits between partitions or crashes the game.

  7. I softmodded a 1.6, and a larger HDD ordered and on it's way. I'm having company over tomorrow, and realized after using XBpartitioner-1.3 to prepare for HDD upgrade (thinking I'd be simply saving that step of partitioning later), I had an F partition that wasn't large enough to hold a single game (2,500mb). Whereas, had I not partitioned F drive, I would have kept 9,500mb free on E partition (enough for a game or two). Man, hindsight... but I just went back into XBpartitioner-1.3, deleted the F partition and added it to E. Upon restart I now get MS error 21 . I now realize, that in changing partitions, I most likely formatted them to rearange stuff. I just didn't think it out in the moment, I should have just waited for the new HDD to arrive, or just robbed a smaller-then-the-ordered-one from the "old electronics shelf" in the basement.... Luckily I had FTP'd C and E partitioned to my PC, so I have copies of what it should be. But since i can't boot up, I don't see how I can access it to FTP those backups. I'm thinking I have to boot from CD, maybe Hexen, and try that way somehow? I just can't seem to have it assign an IP. I've tried DHCP and Static, manually typed in the IP, but at the top of the "Network Settings" it shows "Current IP" as 0.0.0.0 . I can however, browse the files, and there's only one folder on E now, UDATA... Through file explorer ont he xbox, I found some config files and an evoxdash.xbe, copied said files over to the E drive. It now boots up to EVOX, but I still can't FTP and there's no options that seem to help. Then I decided to try running the Hexen option to install softmod of Kingroach and start from (what I think is) scratch. But alas, I'm still getting error 21 Then I tried Krayzie's install, and things seemed to be working as it install unleashX. After following the promt once isntal was complete, to remove the CD and reboot, it now reboots to Evox with only 2 slections "Launch Disc" and "System settings"(which is more for info, no settings that offer anything different then I've encounter yet). Man I kept diggin a hole. things kept booting to evox with no options that helped, so i went back and forth with Hexen to get into file explorer and figure out why evox was loading and not unleashX (which was present on E). I figured it was something on C partition after I wiped E yet Evox would still boot. So i went back into Hexen file explorer and removed some of the things on C that I thought were directing the show to Evox. I compared files between my previous backups on the working HDD to make sure I wasn't deleting important stuff, but apparently I had because Hexen/CD drive won't load anymore. On reboots/shutdowns when thing boot up it goes to the error screen, hexen won't load. GD I should have jsut waited for that damn HDD!!!! Any ideas now? (XBOX #6 Fancy)
  8. I did a dumb thing and tried to hotswap softmod a second console I have, with a guide from consolemods.org everything was going great but Xplorer360 seemed to have deleted my Partition 4. I saved all the files I could (this is pre softmod so i wasn’t able to backup EEPROM) and now when I boot the Xbox it just goes straight to an error screen, no dashboard. I’m unsure how to unlock the HDD again and what to do from here. It’s a v. 1.0 console with 3944 kernel. Any help is appreciated! I realize what I did was dumb and my only other hope might just be to chip the console, but I have no idea to solder so it might just be out of my scope of knowledge and I’ll have to sell the console as parts or something.
  9. I'm creating my dragon image on a 4tb drive with bios cerbios I then filled the R and S partitions with the full set of xbox games and I am making the various connections with xbe shortcut maker2.0 from the dragon folder located in partition F Unfortunately, all links don't work As if the software fails to manage the 2 new partitions Are there any solutions at the moment?
  10. Thank you in advance for any and all help provided, I am asking to see/get ideas on how some users out there have their HDD partitioned. I am using a 2TB on a 2nd xbox with a X3 chip. I have most of the space divided between F and G partitions. Does anyone else use other partitions for specific resources?(emulators,music,apps...etc) Would like to get cool ideas or suggestions. Thanx
  11. Hi again Following up on my previous post about mt ram upgrade. Ive ran into another issue. I have installed a 1tb HDD. Prior to upgrading my ram I had already formated the with F partition taking 120gb and G partition taking the rest of the space. I have filled F partition with xbox games which has taken quite some time. Ive now realised that IND-BIOS 5003.67 will not read G partition. M8 bios will read the G partition but then i wont be able to take advantage of my extra ram. From what Ive read it is to do with how my G patition table is written. If this is the issue, is there any way I re-write the partition table without disturbing the data?
  12. I recently upgraded my HDD successfully to a 1TB HDD. Set everything up with Hexen. Made sure my F partition was setup with 64k cluster size. Yet now almost halfway through my F drive being full, i can no longer copy files successfully to that partition. Whether it be via FTP or the file manager on the console itself. I get no errors via FTP, all i see is that it changes to passive mode, but nothing actually copies. I do get an error with the file manager, its just an error number. Doing some research it seems that it would be the cluster size of the partition. But i checked with xboxparitioner 1.3 and it is indeed 64k. I am going to copy off my data, and reformat the partition, verify all my settings again, but curious if anyone has any idea to what the issue can be? I hope its not a faulty drive as it is brand new. Thanks in advance!
  13. Hey. I got a question. I have a 1.4 xbox tsop flashed with the x2 5035 F&G bios file. All runs fine, but the g drive shows no files. I can copy files on this partition, delete it and so on. With the x2 49.. Bios it shows all folders (hombrew, games etc) But the x2 5035 will not show these files Exactly the same happens with the ind 5004 bios.
  14. Hi Guys So I've searching around the internet to find an answer, hoping you guys can shed some light on it. I'm looking to upgrade my Xbox with a 3TB HDD. Now I know this will give the F and G partitions the make 1TB size each. Now I've been searching around and was wondering if you could give the remaining space to the E partition? According to this forum: https://www.xbmc4xbox.org.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7353 Rocky5 said as long as your Xbox is soft or hard modded, the kernel will be patched to run any partition size, as long as you don't mess with the C partition. Someone has increased his E partition to 10GB and it worked, but I want to put it into the 500GB + range. Please let me know what you guys think?
  15. Good evening, guys, I need help. Xbox Crystal with aladdin modchip I have a 640 gb wd blue hdd. By inserting the dvd to prepare the hdd and install everything, the partitions are always at zero (see photo). In another xbox always modchip, the partitions are seen, but if I insert or copy some files, at restart they disappear as in the xbox crystal. Partition C 0, Partition F:0, Partirion E:0 HELP!
  16. I upgraded the HDD in my Xbox to a 320GB SATA using a SATA/IDE adapter and upgraded the cable to a 80 conductor. The Xbox is a v1.0 with a AladinXT modchip. BIOS is iND-BiOS 504.67 (F and G) installed from a Hexen 2019 DVD. I prepared the hard drive using Hexen 2019 and everything works ok except I cant adjust the partition sizes in xbpartitioner. If I understand it right the Extended partitions 6 and 7 in xbpartitioner is for partition F and G. How do I take the space from 7 (G) and give it all to 6 (F)? I tried pressing the A button (and every other button for that matter) and nothing happens. Do I need to change the BIOS to an F only version? if so the only iND-BiOS 504 in Hexen 2019 says force 480p..will that be a problem? thanks
  17. I have a version 1.4 xbox that was TSOP modded with X2 4983.67 bios and 750gb IDE hard drive. I have flashed IND-5004.67 bios to it and now it does not see the G partition. I have tried to re-partition the drive to no avail, it will not see the G partition. If I boot the HEXEN 2018 disk it sees the G partition or if I re-flash the X2 bios it will also see the G partition. I am at a loss to what the problem I have is? Has anyone had this problem before. Thanks.
  18. I'm trying to install all the DLC available in my E Partition but they don't fit. Is it possible to make the E partition larger? It is ok if it involves losing data or reformatting the hard drive. I have an Xbox 1.1 TSOP with iND BiOS and 2Tb HDD. How can I make partition E to be 10-12Gb?
  19. Hiya, just TSOPed my 1.2v Oxbox and put in a 160gb hdd. I split the F & G partitions 74ish gb each. The F partition show 74ish gb but G partion is 0gb. Used HeXEn 18 and the evox M8+ bios F+G, Both F & G values showed in XBpartitioner 1.3.
