  2. I will look into creating some cover art for each of the BAED discs 1 thru 3b for XBMC4Gamers over the next few days. I will add them to the below thread once I have had time to get them done.....
  3. I'm just getting into coding, but I think it needs to be included up top and incorporated into the project file. Pardon my lack of literacy.
  4. alrighty, so i got it compiled but when i try to compile my own code via sdl, it gives me a error message telling me that it could not find the SDL.h file.
  5. Yesterday
  6. Set on Stereo, Dolby is Disabled and the DTS also disabled... Could it possibly be from a capacitor? I only removed the clock capacitor because I didnt see any noticeable problems with the other caps
  7. https://www.xbins.org/index.php?action=search&searchtxt=sdl&Submit=Search Looks like it may be on xbins... I'm not able to check ATM, but take a look and see.
  8. I'm wondering about that too when it was released.
  9. Interesting. This is a 1.4 box as well. Thanks for the pointer, will go look into that
  10. I had this happen on a v1.4 a few days ago, I updated to v2.0.004 and it fixed it. The patch notes mentions fixing the v1.6 temp issues I noticed. It had a pretty old build on it. I softmodded it a few years back, and just got around to doing a tsop.
  11. It's rising! Now at 1078 lol. Assuming it's about 1030 off from real value
  12. Softmodded the box I repaired recently ( I'll keep that aladdin chip for my box once it's sorted. ) Booted a few times now to confirm.. this is what's being reported? Anyone have a suggestion? Sensor(s) failure or software issue?
  13. Hey guys so anyways, I was wondering about installing sdl for the Microsoft xdk for the original Xbox that lantus made back in the day, and also is it included in the vm that was included with the easy xdk installer?
  14. You can ignore the numbers. On 1.6 you remove the 2 jumpers on the 2 pads marked in pink.
  15. You can get a flash chip, but you will only have one bank for a bios. XBlast Aladdins have two banks and XBlast OS as an OS bios. You can flash with the actual chip and not need to rely on booting your xbox to a dash/modded setup or hotswapping. A flash chip could run anywhere from 8 to 12 dollars with shipping, whereas you could get an XBlast Aladdin for 25 shipped and never need to worry about flashing again. There are more expensive chips, but an XBlast is all you really need and then some.
  16. I can just replace the SST49LF020 and flash the bios i already have from hdd?I ask becose i dont have any idea on this stuff
  17. Replace the chip. You do not want to deal with a programmer every time you want to flash a bios to your chip. At least buy an XBlast Aladdin.
  18. Thanks @eeksdeeCould you please also tell me about the images you added. Those that marked with numbers are meant to be removed right? And the those pink lines over pads means they need to be bridged?
  19. You could if you wanted, but I don't really see the point unless you're trying to find the highest OC you can get or something. I really wish someone more knowledgeable would help with the feedback resistor, want to see how low these CPUs can run at stock clocks. https://github.com/GXTX/xbox-bmarks Uses nxdk, didn't really write up how to compile or anything but if you join xbox-dev discord a compile version should be available somewhere in #sw-development
  20. Hi i know this a old post but i have exactly tha same problem and i am a noob with all this. Where i can find a compatible prigrammer or its more worth i replace the chip or anything else
  21. Audio settings in MS dash? What are they?
  22. Last week
  23. Just came across this thread and it looks like something I need to do for at least one of my boxes. That said back in the day, I used to mess with underclocking cpus. Most of it was on boards where you could change the voltages and multipliers. Primarily as away of making them cooler, and because overclocking was getting expensive to go further than I was already, all the basics and massive coolers, peltier coolers and liquid cooling, done. Next steps flurinert or liquid gasses. underclocking was fun and you could actually use the Pc for daily use, not just for bench marking. Still got the kit maybe I will get it out of storage…..
  24. https://ibb.co/hM5wKg3 https://ibb.co/kcdzrWG https://ibb.co/smTcZ5x https://ibb.co/5Tg8wbf https://ibb.co/9mXN0rJ https://ibb.co/fnLyDdq https://ibb.co/JBb7t1D Have not cleaned the port, but before the 128mb mod, the sound was working and everything was running well. I did however do alot of mods in a short period of time on this console. It had a bad optical drive so I just decided in the beginning to chip it and a few weeks later, upgraded the ram. Honestly, its hard to say if i did much setup changes because i have a main xbox that I used, so this just sat before I would do most of the upgrades. I have a v1.3 that I set this v1.4 exactly how I had setup the v1.3.
  25. Agreed. Since you have access to one you could plug in to the mobo to test (with the Xbox components kind of temporarily assembled and out of the way) if the switch is actually the problem. That would be the easiest way. If you have zero problems there then you can assume it’s the switch and proceed to replacing it. If the problem still exists with the new switch then you can assume it’s lies within the power rails on the mobo most likely. I have a few spare known good switches that I use for this purpose all the time. It’s usually the first thing I check when similar power issues arise since it takes so little time to do and I don’t have to take the entire console apart to test it. That comes later. Lol
  26. I mean if I already bought it, might as well put in the new one.
