Where Do I Find Working Links To C and E Drives To Rebuild Xbox Hard Drive

Okay so this morning I got HDM 1.9 working on an old PC - I need to backup and transfer my eeprom later - I notice when I look in the HDM folder right now that the C and E folders are empty - is that normal?  Remember this is before I turn it into an ISO - Do these folders fill up with contents once the program is running and the hard drive is attached to the PC?  Prob a stupid question but it's so long since I used this method that I can't remember.  Thanks

Yes

No, you have to add the content you want to be copied to the Xbox HDD.  For example, the 5960 MS dashboard files into the hdm\C folder.  With E left empty, XboxHDM will create empty E:\UDATA and E:\TDATA folders on the hard drive. But, it you have game saves and/or apps you want to be preloaded add them into hdm\E.

The amount of content that can be added in total to the C and E folders of XboxHDM is limited to 528MBs.

Thanks - do you know where I could download the C folder files?  Could I transfer the C drive contents over FTP - I'm happy  to do this but I'd prefer a fresh start as I'm sure I'd probably be copying over things I don't need from my current xbox drive.

or

many other locations that have a copy of the 5960 MS dashboard available online.

Okay so I used HDM V 1.9 and now have a 40GB hard drive that works in my xbox - since I did a clean install - it appears to be a stock drive and the extra space doesn't appear.

I'm going to use Rocky 5 softmod - will the extra space show up then or do I need to do something else to get full access to the new hard drive?  Thanks

Yes, nothing else to do.

Until the console is modded and a replacement dashboard is installed, the MS dashboard will look no different.  It does not use the additional space. Has not access to it.

The replacement dashboard installed by Rocky5's Xbox SoftmoddingTool - UnleashX - will be able to access the additional storage space.

Finally, a working link to some clean hard drive files. Thank you very much.

Got this xbox with a couple of 360s and it puts the logo up and the Microsoft logo also pops up then nothing.
Put Halo2 disc in and it booted up and showed the previous players save games so i assume the HDD is working at least. Now i thought it had been modded as when i looked underneath it had warranty stickers over the labels you have to cut to open the machine. Also the modder/repairer and also put hot glue in the torx screws (twat).
Alas no hardware mod and i know next to nothing about softmods (my modding was always HW mods).
Also i got this nice message when i took the lid off.
Some suggestions would be appreciated as at the moment I'm thinking something may have happened to a softmod.

My LE Green Xbox which is very little used and has been kept in practically retail state (never opened) completely out of the blue decided to start itself the moment I turn on the main's power. Its been connected to the same power block as my most used Xboxes for years so when either are on it will have been getting some power to the clock cap but TBH I can't remember when it was last actually used; it has to be at least a month ago. Then this.
It won't turn off using the Xbox power button but will turn off using the UnleashX menu option > Shutdown but then immediately powers up again. Its working perfectly otherwise. Clearly something has happened, probably partly due to the hot weather but what?
My theory is that I made a big mistake keeping it plugged in so that when the other Xboxes were being used its clock cap was indeed being charged. Despite it not being used regularly that has led to its premature ageing and leaking, doing some sort of damage.
I suspect I'll only know if that is correct by cracking open the case which I specifically did not and still do not want to do. So if the cause could be something else which doesn't required me to take its virginity advice would be appreciated.
