After each time I power up the Xbox the artworks shows some symbol/icon. on the games that contains violence.

the symbol is shown in the picture:

after I renew the info these symbols are gone.  Is there a way to avoid these symbols in the first place?

I have a 1.6 xbox smartxxv2 chip. XBMC4 gamers dashboard. Newest cerbios BIOS.

Thanks in advance for your ideas!

That's not a violence indicator, it shows you which games have cheats/trainers available. When it turns yellow, that means you populated a trainer list for that game. Try pressing White to open a menu while hovering over those games, there will be Trainer Options in that menu. Pick the right list for your region, ntsc/pal.

ah ok thanks! I thought it was an adult comforting a child......... And when I updat the trainer list the icons are back indeed! Thank you!

I am in the pal region but have set the xbox to ntsc for the better 720p resolution.

I just tested it and it works exactly how you described. As soon as I change a setting the icon changes to yellow. And back to white if the trainer is set to "nothing"

Thanks again for your answer.

Rocky5,

found it toggle "hide trainer overlay on posterviews".

Thank you!

What an awesome forum this is!

Bought my Xbox 20 years ago new with smartxx modchip. used it for 5 years or so and put it in the attic.

We moved twice and I found it again. Tried to start it up and it did not work.

So tried to look on the internet what could be wrong.

With the help of info from this forum and Youtube I replaced som caps and it worked!

I was proud of myself because I did not do amuch soldering.

Then I replaced the harddrive, flashed the bios , got the 2 tb of games installed the xbmcforgamers.

And replaced the fan for a 60mm noctua.

It feels a little like twenty years ago! fiddling with xbmc on the xbox. ( now it is on the Raspberrry Pi)

But I am happy with it and I like to play around with it and tinker with it like 20 years ago.

Thanks for being there and put so much effort in keeping the xbox scene alive!
