Here I have another very small batch of four complete kits of the Xecuter 3. Meticulously assembled, hand soldered pin by pin on every chip for the best I can achieve. Made over months. An enormous effort goes into making these available to this standard. These even have the correct sized thumbwheel for the LCD, complete with all professionally made cables and switches, also 3M adhesive backs (not tape) made to size. All have been fully tested including with standard HD44780 20x4 LCD output. Pin header protrusions on reverse have been smoothed so nothing sticks into your thumb etc and for overall aesthetic finish. There are 3 red kits and 1 purple kit. The purple kit comes with the white switch & purple power eject board. All are £65 each plus post. Packed as per pictures and are ready to ship. Paypal either F&F or fees to you, either way. See previous sale thread for ref if desired. Thanks. More pictures link.

Since this is my first post (long time lurker) I just want to say I appreciate everyone who devotes time to making this console better than ever 20+ years after it released, as well as the knowledge I have read in others posts as it is extremely helpful, you guys rock. Now to my question - I recently installed a rp2040 tiny using modzville's adapter board on a friends xbox and it works great! Now that PrometheOS is supported on the Modxo, I flashed it to my friends box and the led on the rp2040 tiny started working, and you could change the colors through the PrometheOS settings. Last night I finally got around to building another one and putting it into my personal xbox, it also works great but for some reason I cannot get the led on my 2040 to light up. Both tinys used are waveshare brand. My xbox is rev 1.0 and my friends is 1.1 (if this makes any difference as both boards look almost the same). I am not sure where the issue resides. Does anyone have any ideas for me to try? Thanks in advance!

I've recently got back into my Xboxes after years of them being untouched, I've got boxes of old stuff I've got to go through to find everything but I'm gradually doing it, this forum's been so helpful in my endeavour. I have a crystal 1.6 Xbox, it's softmodded but I want to try and chip it, I've never done a chip before myself but I guess back in the day I bought a few of them. I found a bunch of new ones that I've not used, although one of them has a wire with some solder on it that doesn't look original so maybe it's one, I did have used at one point and it was removed from it's Xbox, maybe when the Xbox died it was thrown out and I kept the chip, I have no idea, so long ago! I found this bag of mod chips The one with Aladdin Advance written on it looks like it can be used on a 1.6 seeing it says so, what about these Duo X2 chips? Is there a guide somewhere how to install these on a 1.6? I think on any further Xboxes I find that are below 1.6 I'll just TSOP them as I've done two now the past couple of days and doing a TSOP is very easy with some conductive paint, as I'm no soldering expert, very basic skills there. Thanks in advance.

Hi all , just wanted to find out by those in the know if these ram modules are compatible for the 128 mb upgrade . I’ve installed all four , failed on all four . Touched up all joints with soldering iron , got the three reboots and Xbox wouldn’t power on , reflowed with hot air station and Xbox goes back to booting as if there’s no extra ram attached . I then replaced one of the ram modules to see if blast would detect it and still nothing . I have no issues accessing Xbox dash or Cerbios flashed Aladdin booting XBMC4Gamers .

Hi everyone, i still have plenty of stock on custom jafar chips. By default i set these up with xblast OS but i can certainly flash PromotheOS onto the SST chip. Just shoot me a message here or via email on the store site and i'll be happy to customize. Also international buyers (Im USA based). Sometimes the freight is nutty, contact me and I can often find better rates using 3rd party shipping (not via shopify). Tracking will be updated and provided via the store but i've found this really helps people out who are getting a few items at a time. https://gameroomcustoms.com/products/jafar-modchip

I made a modded version (details soon) of the Xecuter 3 bios to theoretically boot on all chips (it was tested on a 1.0/1.1 TSOP, SmartXX and Xenium chip). It is 1024k bios so you can't flash it on a 1.2-1.4 tsop. (Config Live won't work because most if not all except x3 chips don't have a dedicated EEPRom) Warning: This modded version hasn't been tested on every modchip so don't try to flash it, if you have no way to recover as it might could brick your chip. Download: https://goo.gl/bJy9g1 Thanks to xbox7887 for testing it on his Xenium Box and 1.0/1.1 TSOP. (Basically just a repost from my Reddit post)

Does anybody know if there's an easy way of testing if RAM chips are not fake (before installing/soldering)? Perhaps a resistance between certain PINs..? Any ideas?

Before today I did not even know there was such a thing as a push fit pin header. Doing a bit of researching about pin header installations I came across a video about just such a thing being used with a Raspberry Pi. Great idea I thought but wondering why nobody has ever suggested using one with the Xbox or perhaps actually fitted a chip using it rather than go through the messy and rather uncertain process of soldering in a pin header. If I'd known earlier I would have seriously considered trying this myself and maybe not lost a MB, which may have been faulty anyway, but my lousy soldering certainly did not help. You'd still need to do a bit of soldering: the D0 point of course but that is relatively simple. https://shop.pimoroni.com/products/gpio-hammer-header?variant=35643241098

Hi everyone, I recently did a 128MB mod on an Xbox 1.1, which was successful. Console booted nice, and ran for hours while gaming, even with a small NV & FSB overclock. I decided I didn't hate myself enough, and decided to go even further and replace all the K4D263238M-QC50 on the board, with the Samsung K4D263238F-QC50-variant, which is said to be tad bit more efficient. Thought this might allow for even more OC (never enough, right?), but now I've run into issues after replacing all the memory chips on the board: The console boots, but only runs for 5-30 seconds, before the screen starts to glitch heavily, with the system freezing as well. If rebooted after a glitch, without a small pause, the system will not boot, and will flash a green light. I've tried to do the following: - Reflow all 8 memory chips 4 times in total. No improvement. - Removed the extra 64MB memory, retaining only the original 64MB, just with the new F-variant memory chips. No improvement. - Replace the remaining 4 memory chips with another, fresh, F-variant memory chips. No improvement. Each time I complete a step, the end result is exactly the same: XBlast runs for the same 5-30 seconds, before glitching and freezing. I can run the memory test for the extra 64MB (when I had it installed), which always completes successfully, if I manage to run it completely before the system starts to glitch. If I connect a HDD, I can even boot iND bios with UnleashX, and everything works and shows correctly, before the system glitches and freezes. Always the same screen glitch effect, before freezing. The Xbox is modded with an Aladdin XT+, with the XBlast enchanced 49LF080A-chip. I can solder, remove or reflow the chips with confidence, with clear and clean solder jobs. I can share pictures, if required, but I'm pretty sure at this point that the solder job is not to blame. Have I nicked some important component somewhere with my solder iron? Are the F-variant memory chips simply incompatible with the 1.1 board? Anyone got any leads?

Hello all. Just recently got into making my own Aladdin xblast chips. I've noticed a few people around here have been looking for them. Currently have 4 Aladdin chips in stock. The CPLD will be flashed with xblast by this weekend. Please bare with me, if I am out of stock, as my current job only pay's minimum wage, and it is quite difficult for me to purchase materials to make the Xblast chips. I am working to make some more soon. In the mean time, if you need one I'm selling.

Hey guys please contact me if you have any old original xbox mod chips that you would be willing to sell i may be intrested in some xenium chips and smartxx but just contact me if you do thanks

I cant seem to find the real deals just what i can only imagine are clones as they sell for £4 to the Uk. THANKS

Ok guys I've spoke to chaos engineer about this on Reddit a few times now and he guided me the easiest way to fix but it's now troubling me as to WHY it's occuring as it's never before now? Chip 1 and 2 Ones a 2.3b Lite With markings the other is a 2.3b Without ANY markings. 'Will update with Pics later'. Now I can make a 1mb BIOS with x2 5035 and M8Plus and switch between the 2 using the PCBs fine. But when hexen / skaters flashes it only creates 1 BIOS across both banks my guess here is hexen is creating a 1mb and flashing all 4 banks? I've done everything a normal install would do. Boot on bank 1 - Flash Bank 1 with Bios A. BOOT on bank 1 - Switch while on rhen flash bank 2 with BIOS B.. BOOT on bank 1 - Flash with BIOS A Boot on Bank 2 - Flash with BIOS B Each of these methods BOTH leaves whatever was the last bios flashed as the bios on both banks. Bear in mind the switches work FINE IF I make my own bios and flash within EVOX. Also Ind Bios no matter which struggles with these chips with stuttering which can't be changed or helped even with config changes. Yet M8Plus boots so fast it's actually shocking. Especially since both are SATA with 2TB hdd's. One using Startechs adapter one using a VBEXY? and yes I've switched adapters. I've switched 80 pin IDE cables. (ASUS one required 0 mods actually happy even though it's only 18 inches. What's the best course of action. Flash x2 5035 and M8 Plus 67 manually and leave? Both need f:127 g: Enabled IIRC.
