i recapped the entire foxlink psu with rubycon caps of the exact uf needed. i also purchased a delta psu to see if the different brand would change anything and it did not. i recapped the entire motherboard except for about 5 of the 22uf caps. i used rubycon on everything except the five in front of the processors. i used 5 nichicon polymer caps there. i soldered a wire to each screw hole of the psu and soldered one wire to the metal outer shell and one to a screw hole on the motherboard(to make sure it was all grounded well). i also recently tried disconnecting the power cables from the dvd drive and harddrive to see if those caused any issues. there was no change. i have an open xenuim chip on it and on a 1.6v. i also have the same bioses on both(evo and cerbios). the 1.6 has a perfectly clear and crisp pic. it is flawless when i boot with cerbios. but i just cannot get rid of the interference on the 1.1v. i'm using the xedusa+ hdmi adapter. i have already tried exchanging it for another one and have the exact same problem. i also have the official microsoft hd pack and have tried it and still get interference on it. about the only thing that does not give me interference is a monster xbox hd cable but, i do not like the color display when i use that cable. the interference on the xedusa is usually in the form of diagonal or vertical lines that run across the screen during 480p output. 720p and 1080i seem to be fine. any and all tips and help is appreciated! even a good educated guess would be appreciated! oh, and i also have the same problems with unmodified 1.0 xboxs. -
i'm tired of this noisy little fan on a 1.0 xbox. i have tried searching for a different heatsink to buy but, cannot find any. does anyone know where i can find them?

I have the Origins package on my 2TB drive, which is locked to the console and I cannot get the MS Dash to load. The system freezes. Questions: Can you confirm that the MS Dash is actually included? If not, where do I put it? I have read the stories of people tampering with the menu or structure and having things "blow up". I appreciate any help or suggestions. Thanks.

I see that the laser is not lighting up and i lt does not read games but i cannot be sure because it is on a Samsung sdg-605f which is known to have problematic 33 and 88 ohm resistors. In my case i don't think they cause the issue but i don't really know. Can anyone explain any other possible ways to troubleshoot that?

As part of my ongoing mission to add XBMC4Gamers art packs to everything that currently doesn't have one, I am currently working through all the Homebrew games/ports. The art for the game 2H4UX is all but done, I just need to create a preview video. However, I cannot get this homebrew game to run. I run the default.xbe get a black screen for 10 sec or so and then returned to the dashboard. I have tried launching it from various dashboards and get the same result every time. Also tried various sources for the download. If anyone out there can get it to run then let me know and, even better, if you can capture 30 sec-ish of gameplay at a decent quality (mp4) and send it to me then that would be perfect.

Hello, Was wondering if anyone could help or test themselves maybe if they have a similar setup. I am running an EVOX dashboard (the latest i think), and form there can load Unleashx aswell. Everything else is working OK but cannot load discs (even originals) after the dash has loaded, I have the same problem when trying with unleashx, The status says checking after inserting a disc, then after a few secs says unknown. The discs will load if inserted then the console is rebooted. Here are a few key lines from the ini - AutoLaunchGames = Yes AutoLaunchDVD = No DVDPlayer = "e:\Apps\dvdx2\default.xbe" AutoLaunchAudio = No Current = 0xBEC9F026E59B170EF24142B7A71A8A3C Section "Root" { Item "Launch DVD Movie",ID_Launch_DVD Should these settings allow booting of a disc when inserting after the dash has loaded ? Any ideas ?

I switched over to the Rocky5 Xbox Softmodding Tool last year, and haven't had issues until now. I cannot get Call of Duty: Finest Hour to run. I tried my HDD Ready archive via FTP, then I tried the original game disc, and lastly I tried copying said disc to the HDD. I also deleted the UData/TData folder 4156002A. The game just freezes on the softmod loading screen for it. This is a v1.6 console.

Hi all, After lots of searching / reading topics, this is my first post and a newbie question ... I can't seem to set up my Amiga games to load and / or play properly on Ninja?!?!?! Any help will be appreciated as I've been able to get other formats going and added artwork, categories etc however getting an Amiga game to work has me stumped

Hello, I came across this site while searching for solutions to my problem. I was attempting to upgrade my XBOX HDD to a 1 TB WD SATA drive that is listed as lockable. I followed Mr. Mario's tutorial on Youtube to a T, and it appeared to be successful, however upon powering up with the new HDD in place of the old I get error 07 and on occasion 09. When going back and attempting to use Chimp to re-clone the original HDD to the new drive, the new drive cannot be altered due to it being locked. Attempts to unlock the HDD via the Unlock Slave Drive menu in Chimp do not work, all of which lead to the same screen referencing the password from the motherboard, but changing nothing. How do I unlock this drive? And yes, I have the jumpers currently set to slave, and had them set to master when I attempted to utilize it as the master HDD. Any help is appreciated.

Hi guys after succesfully tsop my crystal og xbox 1.4 i was trying to re-install xbmc4gamer and when i try to install it in partition e i get an error of cannot copy D and is not working. Only way i found it to work is if i install it as an app but then im unable to have it on boot Anyone knows why? Forgot to say im using rocky tools extra disk for installing xbmc Thanks

so i have attained this disc from 3 sources and cannot seem to let it to launch it. every time i try to run the it it crashes my xbox and reset's my box . i have tried flashfxp and flashzilla with adjusting the settings with both setting to binary ....didnt help im currently using UIX dash with a 1.6 soft mod

Hi All, After successfully TSOPing my 1.4 xbox, I can no longer load the Hexen disc. Is this normal? I am running unleash X as my dashboard. I was able to load the Hexen disc to complete my initial TSOP, but not anymore. Any thoughts?

So yeah guys I finally was able to build a composite cable out of another shitty chinese compenent cable. Now I got chimp to show on my screen, and I do everything right but I get this error: Cannot allocate resources And also other similar messages, what does this mean? Is my HDD incompatible, or is it something else? Please guys, I really need some help now, and did I tell you I almost destroy my finger today (it is in bad shape though), the same finger I burned when making the component cable hahahhha, the same hand I also broke some years ago. But please I need your advice guys! Edit: Now I read and it says at one point "No controller found", even though I pressed A and it worked. I am using an original Xbox Japanese controller by the way. Mmm, I don't know what it is and I have done SO MUCH, and finally now... it just doesn't work... -
Anybody has the software called Flicker Fucker? I cannot find it anywhere on the Internet and I needed to test some games etc with it. I lookek in the Xbins, but I could not find it either, official website is down too. Thank you so much.
