does anyone know how to change ind bios splash screen?

Hi everyone, i'm workin on my xbox to install MakeMhz Hdmi. I have 2 questions for you: 1st I've flashed my Bios with M8.CEC.FG.evoxdash.512 and M8.CEC.FG.UX.512 (the prepatched EvoX m8+ Bioses for makemhz) as You can see ,using evox dash they both giving me "Bios Unknow" , is that normal ? also when i load them in evtool they cannot be edited (unsupported kernel..) 2nd i have a 2tb disk with 2 900 gb partitions , if i will decide to edit m8 untouched bios , which is the right choice to choose for the LBA48 support and partition table ? thanks !!

I'm looking for a replacement sticker for the X3 BIOS bank selection switch or a replacement switch if anyone has one spare in the UK? I am also looking for an Xecuter XLCD kit to complete my X3 install (this isn't a huge loss if I can't buy one and I don't mind going down the DIY route for this if nobody has one they want to sell - I've had some great advice from the XBOX-SCENE guys regarding what parts to buy). Hey all , I have a hard modded Xbox with xenium installed , I don’t have a old harddrive with bios , I have he hdmi+ installed and it’s working I connect my Xbox via hdmi, I can’t seem to get a bios to load , I can’t load hexen cause I don’t have a dash board , I formatted the c and e partition via xenium , every other partition I get failed to format .. I get the error 16 lots , I Tryed ftp m8plus but it won’t work .. I have a version 1.6 mother board .. what am I doing wrong ? I have a hexen dvd made but it won’t load cause I don’t have a dashboard I guess .. I have a new 2tb harddrive .. i can boot into xenium but that’s it

Hi, I brought my og xbox back to live and it is still working. But I now want to upgrade it with a 2 TB disk. I read a lot here in the forum and tried to find the components and bios I need for upgrade. So far my upgrade components are as follows: WD RE4 2 TB SATA (WD2003FYYS) Unpartitioned; Deleted partitions with easeUs never installed in a xbox Delock 62510 SATA 2 IDE Adapter (Successor of Delock 61702); According to data sheet: contains Marvell 88SA8052 Asus 80wire 40pin IDE / PATA Cable OGXBox 2021 (v1.5.4) Installer Disk Thank you very much Actual setup: Xbox Rev. 1.0 WD 200 GB IDE (unlocked) Aladdin Advanced with Xecuter2 4983.06 BIOS (256kb) EvolutionX Dashboard (1.8.3752) First I thought, I will go with a LBA48 modified/fixed EvoX M8+ CEE BIOS. After some reading of topics/posts on this forum, I stumbled up on the Original Aladdin Advanced Mod Chip comment from SS_Dave, where he recommend "IND 5004.67" for the Aladdin Advanced. Furthermore on youtube I saw the new CerBios 2.0.3R and found it here on the forum. This is is also a 256kb BIOS and as I get it right a brand new one. I think I will go with XBMC4Gamers, but not sure. Now I am not sure which BIOS I should use/flash to the Aladdin Advanced. Do you may have recommondations for me, which BIOS I should use? Install XBMC4Gamers 8.2. Reboot the System (Without DVD). CerBios 2.0.3R Completly follow 16TB in an OG Xbox? CERBIOS has arrived (Borderline OCD) Is the step "BIOS Selection" with FATXplorer possible if the HDD is only/lower 2 TB (as the description for "Cerbios, Titan" says -> Only available for disks larger than 2 TB.? Any help with the title? I just want to dump my bios… not really soft mod. Is this possible? Just run it.. grab my bios… and undo everything it did?

I have been trying many combintations based on info found here, but still cannot get the dash to see G: Drive. I have a 1.6 with an original X2.6 Install, and a 2tb drive with the Origin Image (Only becuase I wanted to get things setup and back into OG Xbox) I have been using bios' downloaded from the right sources, and uploading them via ethernet with flashbios always on bank 1&2. I have tried the following either modified with EVTool (for 256k) or X2ool for the Xecuter bios (5035 512k) I try to mod the bios for LBA support, but its not happening. I think there maybe an issue with the programs above and compatability/admin rights?? So far I have tried: x2_5035_v16plus_512k modified with X2ool M8plus_16 modified with EVTool (1.0.8) M8_16_LBA48_IGR_C-06 modified with EVTool (1.0.8) The last one I really expected to work......I've not played with any partition tools as I was concerned that I might loose data. Finally, I've not tried any of the installation DVD's as the drives dont seem to be working.....

Hello all i have a hard-modded XBox that has 2 BIOS chips my question is how do I set the CerBios to boot the XBMC Origins dash, because I also have a Series X boot flubber and that would kind of SWEET see video of boot below and then have the IND-BIOS boot XBMC4Gamers If I use HEXEN 2018 after I choose my bios and then boot that BIOS, will HEXEN do everything for me to set BIOS 1._dash XBMC4GAMERS BIOS 2._dash XBMC ORIGINS

So I thought I'd try out life without a DVD drive but I've run into some issues after removing it, attaching just the mainboard to power/IDE, and flashing a noDVD M8+ BIOS patched for XboxHD+ and 128MB RAM. My symptoms: - When I try to start up CoinOPS Ninja, it just hangs on a black screen - When I press the controller buttons to reset the console, it enters a boot loop, eject flashes green and shows Xbox logo then black screen over and over again. Is the soft reset shortcut somehow tied to eject and the DVD drive? Xbox games themselves and other emulators seem to be launching fine btw.

I'm searching for a firmware dump of the original SST 39LF020A from the LG-GDR-8163B to get the drive back up and running. Some how the flash with the "8050L.dld" went wrong under DOS and now the drive didn't get recognized in Windows or DOS (And the drive LED is always on). How ever, if someone has a working flashable dump of the SST 39LF020A with the XBox firmware would also be ok (Not to sure if i could flash that 8050L.dld file to the SST so, yeah.....) . Richt now I have desoldered that little b1tch and soldered it on the pcb for my flasher..... I'm a noob and I need a little help please. I have softmodded my Xbox with Unleash X and now I want to hard mod it. I have burned Hexen 2018 disc image file to a disc and now I am trying to figure out how to get Xbox Bios Checker either v4 or V5 onto a disc. I burn the files to the DVD R disc but the Xbox won't recognize it. What Files do I need to burn onto the disc? Should there be a disc image file? What am I doing wrong? Do I have to hardmod it first for this to work? I'm sorry but I have looked at so many videos and searched so many forums that now I'm lost in the forest. Please break out the crayons on this one to show me how to do this. Thank you.

XBOX 1.4 board, ST bios chip. Bridged the usual two points. HDD was dead, so installed Jafar chip and tried to lock another HDD but failed. So booted IND bios from Jafar, run Hexen 2021 and tried to flash onboard bios. It seemed to work but when rebooted the console it still had the stock bios. Tried another HDD which managed to lock to the board using Xblast by booting from Jafar, booted Hexen disc from the soft modded HDD and tried to flash bios but gets stuck trying to erase the bios and nothing happens. Rebooted, then ran xblast OS from the hexen disc and tried Net Flash but again gets stuck. Redid the two boints on the board and re-checked, they're defenitly bridged. At this point I'm at a loss to why it won't flash the bios. Board has some signs of corresion.

Thanks for your time and any help you fine folks can provide. Here's what I got, and here's some symptoms and our current situation. 2020 bought TSOP'd V1.1 from a nice gent on ebay. It worked fine for the past two years, then recently encountered problems. IND bios, UnleashX Ver:0.39.0.222A Build 572, Kernel 1.0.5003.67, MS dash Kernel: 1.00.5003.67 D:1.00.5659.03, Upgraded HDD to Seagate Barracuda 750gb upon purchase, reapplied thermal paste to heatsinks/chips, clock cap was removed by seller. This xbox is my brothers, so the symptoms aren't first hand, but described as best as he could to me. I have the original HDD around still. Last 2 months, symptoms: Occasional freezing while watching videos on XBMC. Reboot would seem to allow playback. Error message about the skin not functioning properly, so he changed to another skin and seemed to solve that issue. Occasional freezing during game play with Halo (1 or 2, can't remember), the last freeze had a few purple bars in the video output (someone suggested that the lines/bars reminded them of GPU issues they experienced with older computer repairs they did in the past) No boot, current situation: IND Bios logo shows up but nothing more. It stays on the IND screen indefinitely while both of the heat sinks get very hot. (Aside from the heat, it reminds me of bad memory issues with computers not booting. I've never got any screen activity with bad RAM though, so when the IND screen shows, it makes me think that RAM may not be the issue.) Actions taken: Opened xbox and removed HDD and CD drive, attempted startup but no change in results. Found three caps in front of large heat sink bulging. Replaced with same value caps from a parts xbox, no change in results. Redid thermal paste on heatsinks, no change in results. Disconnected front USB cables(wire connectors to controller ports). So just the PSU, fan, and power/eject connectors still attached but no change in results. FTP timed-out, no change in results. No other obvious defects, but my eyes may be getting aged and I could be missing something. But generally, I dont see anything burnt, no other visually bad caps, PSU seems to be working regularly. I'm not familiar with the TSOP process, just the plain jane softmod. Is it possible to redo the TSOP, or is this sounding like a hardware issue to you folks? My brothers and cousins love coming over to get system link going, so being down a box is a bit annoying and we may be losing some saves and profiles that I'm not able to FTP off. Any help or pointers is greatly appreciated.

I'm having some trouble getting both of these working at the same time; I have a M8+ 1.6 BIOS pointing to Rocky5's xISO patcher, which works fine, but when I try to pack it with XboxHD's patch and run it, it doesn't show up in the XboxHD app. This happens using both the edited or clean M8+ images as a base when packing it again. If I don't load the xISO patcher, the XboxHD patch shows up fine in the app. I'm wondering if there's a way around this or if anyone else has gotten these to work together.

I hope someone can help, I am very new to this. I found my original xbox in the loft, when I boot it loads showing EvoX (pink logo) in the top left corner. It then seems to boot open the original dash. I heard the PAL system was locked so you couldn't access the HD scaling. Is there anything I can do to unlock the 720p / 1080i features to get better visuals on my 4k TV? I found a forum saying I could use a DVD and burn HeXEn bios onto it or something then run that in the Xbox to unlock the features? But when I tried to burn this to a DVD-RW it would not let me on my PC? Sorry, I know you probably get this a lot from newbies! Cheers.

sorry i know this is another FRAG Post,,, didn't want to highjack the one from the 12th or 14th... ok Xbox 1.0 1mb, Flash Tsop with Cerbios 256k with restoox. FRAG xbox... Did the Coma fix, needed both A18/A19 for it to Boot.. flashed Cerbios 2.01 1mb, Cerbios 2.2R 256k, Ind 1mb(not same times) .With Xblast, Evo from OG installer disc, OGXBox TSOP Flasher v1.7.2 thru install.xbe from E:\ .. But once I remove the A18/A19 it won't boot.. I'm I supposed to Leave this for good? or Remove it once it's booted before I Flash? also With Cerbios won't see DVD now that i changed after Evo flash.. so i Changed this to 0 but now get the error? I can pull cerbios.ini off hdd.. just thought this was weird ; Drive Setup ; 0 = HDD & DVD, 1 = HDD & No DVD (Legacy Mode), 2 = HDD & No DVD (Modern Mode), 3 = Dual HDD DriveSetup = 1 .. I seen a post about this to somewhere in my searching time for a fix... can't find it now Thanks for any help on this.. I just need to stick to Chips lol...

Help flashed bios to a 1.6 xbox which has xecuter2.6 chip using slayers installer disc. Tried to flash to bank 1 which seemed to be empty as when I tried to boot from it just got blank screen... Any way after flashing bios from slayers installer disc which seemed to go well it said xbox will shut down...Then when I tried to boot from bank 1 just get red ring and nothing on screen.tried from bank 2 and get the same red ring,then tried dissabling chip and boot to ms dash but still just get red ringso can not even do softmod and update again that way... any way back? could xecuter 2.6 modchip be taken out and reflashed from pc?

Hello everyone. I just finished TSOPing an Xbox model 1.1 and decided I wanted to flash Cerbios 2.01 Retail, and after flashing I have a red/green flashing light with no picture. The system is hooked up via composite (yellow, red and white) video cables and now I have no picture. I cannot access FTP, either. I was also sure to FTP over the Cerbios.ini and boot animations to the root of C ahead of flashing. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction? Thank you.

Hello all. First post here as I just got into modding xbox's. Picked up two og xbox's, one is a 1.6 and the other a 1.0. I did a full recap on the 1.6 board and power supply and replaced the dvd drive belt. Also installed a 500gb hard drive, installed a new dashboard and lastly installed MakeMHZ's HDMI board with OpenXenium mod chip. And to my surprise every worked perfect with little to no issues. However, this 1.0 has some problems. System wouldn't boot at all at, also tried booting from a dvd using hexen with no luck. So I installed a OpenXenium mod chip and it booted right up to the Xenium OS. So I figured I was good to go, I installed a the IND 5003.67 BIOS since it would be compatible with the 128mb ram upgrade for the console. So this is where I may have messed up, I just installed all 4 ram chips at the same time instead of testing after each one. Now systems turns on and off.. on and off again then on and stays on with a green ring but no picture. However if I press the eject once it stays on it launches into either Xenium OS or the IND BIOS.. Not sure how that makes sense, seems to be random. I would think if the ram was installed wrong or shorted I wouldn't even get this far?? I was even able to ftp over Capcom vs SNK 2 and it played fine.. I'm thinking maybe something's up with the stock BIOS? I bridged the pins on the board to do a tsop thinking that might solve my problem but I don't think I have anyway to flash to the stock chip since I can only boot from a modchip.. Sorry for the long read, I'm just lost at this point. Hoping someone has some suggestions or can make sense of any of this. Hi! this is is my first post, sorry if in any way miss categorized or confusing. I bought two XBOXs at a pawnshop. The one with the X2 modchip is a 1.6 and my backup is a 1.1 xbox. I am completely new to the modding scene. I had a modded xbox back in ~2006? I was a kid back then, I only used it to play backups and emulators, never messed with it much. This is a load of nostalgia for me. At first the X2 1.6 xbox was working fine, until I got curious and played around with Hexen. I tried flashing the X2 1.6 bios listed there. It froze and never completed so I rebooted my xbox during the flashing process (yikes). Now when I turn it on, it bootloops 3 times (quickly turns on and off) then I get green/red flashing light and it boots into error 16. From my own research I (think) this is what is happening, could be wrong though: I borked the bios on my modchip. Guessing the tsop on my motherboard still has stock bios? When X2 fails 3 times, it tries to boot from the tsop. I have custom firmware on the hard drive (custom dashboard, emulators, F partition etc(, and the drive might be unlocked too. Currently my 1.1 xbox is not assembled, it is in parts because I am going to solder my tsop and put it back together, it will be soon though. (Assuming I don't bork it as well). Would it be possible to use my (soon) modded 1.1 console, swap the hard drive from my bricked X2 1.6, and somehow restore it so microsoft dash will load on stock bios? From there, surely I could softmod and flash the X2 chip and be back in business... Or should I remove the chip from my 1.6 and install it on my 1.1 and from there flash new bios? Not really sure how to do the things listed above safely without borking anything else. Tried to find manuals for the Xecuter chip, but all is lost in time. Now only X3 seems to get love.

I'm creating my dragon image on a 4tb drive with bios cerbios I then filled the R and S partitions with the full set of xbox games and I am making the various connections with xbe shortcut maker2.0 from the dragon folder located in partition F Unfortunately, all links don't work As if the software fails to manage the 2 new partitions Are there any solutions at the moment?

I've been wanting to flash over a debug BIOS to my Xenium box, and have the option to boot into the XDK launcher dashboard. I haven't been able to find a clear guide on how to go about this, particularly what debug BIOS would be compatible with a 1.6 console, if there is a compatible BIOS at all. I'd appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction of getting this set up.

Hello again, I got another Xbox with another problem. It`s a box manufactured 2003 (so no 1.6 I guess) and it`s a SmartXX built in from 2004. There are several banks flashed with some BIOS files (see picture). There was only a 160GB IDE drive installed so I decided to change it to a SATA 2TB. I made a FTP-copy of the files from C and E. I used FatXplorer to prepare the drive and copied all previously saved files to the new C and E drives to the new partitions. After that I got error 21 after boot. The only working Dash is the EvolutionX but it won`t recognize the F and G partition as it should. I formatted F and G 927GB each but as you can see in the picture it shows only F and not even the correct size. I think the flashed BIOS version is too old. When EvolutionX boots up it shows Xecuter2 below the green xbox logo. Wich BIOS do I need to flash SmartXX and how do I flash it? I need your help again Regards.

Just picked up a really clean console from Goodwill with a well installed xecuter 2.6. Unfortunately I can’t get anywhere with it. Stock dash will not load when chip is off. Throws an error 16. I’ve tried locked and unlocked. Neither get passed error screen. With the chip on and in bank 2, it will boot in flashbios 3.0.3, but will not accept a bios in any way. There are two that appear to be saved on the HDD also. Every way I’ve tried so far either fails or says “bios update found… Halting!” And then nothing. Chip protection is off during all of this also
