  1. Their website says this issue was fixed on the newest xbox2hdmi.. "With this newest version of this module, V3, the Digital Surround Sound audio input has been fixed to work with every revision of the Xbox. " guess that didn't transfer over to the analog2hdmi ... thanks for mentioning it, I was going to put mine into a 1.0, saved me the headache .. looks like it will be going into a 1.3 after i fix the trace rot.
  2. I couldn't find Gerber for them, but there was someone selling them on Facebook If either of you guys need one, I could probably spare one..
  3. I have a couple of the boards but haven't got around to installing them yet, I have way too many projects on the go and they keep sliding further down the to do list...I will try to set some time aside in the next two weeks and see if I have any luck..
  4. I know it sounds simple but is the slave/master jumper on the sata adapter set correctly?
  5. Thanks for the info much appreciated.. I wasted too much time blowing up caps and screwing around in electronics class instead of paying attention... if we could only go back in time and do things over lol I was looking at these for the 1500uf https://www.digikey.ca/en/products/detail/kemet/A759MS158M1AAAE012/13420083
  6. Time to do some capacitor replacments and have a question about ripple current.. The way I understand it generally higher ripple current capacity is better as caps will last longer.. But on digikey ripple current has 2 measurments.. Low frequency @120hz High frequency @ 100khz I am assuming these different specs would be for different use cases like basic power delivery vs power smoothing? Is that correct? I am switching to polymer caps so esr is low. Should I be focusing more on the 100khz ripple rating?
  7. Good luck man, interested to see how this turns out..
  8. I've had this 3 times that I can recall , one was rot, one was ide sata adapter (not applicable here) and the other time the drive was not fully closing(again not applicable here) If no noticeable damage to wires going to front panel or rot any where I'm not sure where to go... maybe time to bust out the multimeter and see what you are getting on the DVD drive wires...
  9. Sorry if I missed it are you using stock ide hard drive or a sata drive with adapter? If adapter what type? Sometimes the cheap adapters act weird if the jumpers on the drive/adapters aren't right or if the ide cable isn't 80 wire.. This is a strange one if there is no trace rot... Can corrupt eeprom cause sothing like this?
  10. I've only had one failure and one that was intermittent.. so not really high failure for me.. but depending on the seller quite offen the soldering is really bad on the cheap ones.. even though they work, I just have to go over it for piece of mind. Now I just spring for startech as I can't be bothered anymore.
  11. I like using the startech ide2sata25 single channel model because I don't used the optical drive...I also prefer it because I can use sata cable instead of the ide cable.... But they are getting harder to find because they are discontinued. I haven't had too many issues with the cheaper no name ide to sata adapters but I usually go over and redo all the soldering points on them.
  12. I have a couple of th Electron Shepherd analog2hdmi boards and am hoping to source a couple of these pcb's to make it even easier... I have an hd+ in one of my boxes but don't think I will be going with hd + with the others...
  13. Got it working using a new usb cable previous cable was a data sync cable but wouldn't play nice.... new cable and visual studio compiled and programed firmware without issue.
  14. Hello, Trying to setup an ogx360 T4 that uses teensy 4.1 by Ryzee119 but I think I'm over my head a bit here as I'm not too familiar with visual studio... When compiling I get the following warning, Is this something I should be worried about and if so any idea how to fix it? Also is the firmware.hex in the bulid/duke folder the file I should be loading on the teensy with teensy loader? Thanks
  15. Thanks for trying... definitely going to mess around with this today once the kids are at school... Agreed! 3 of my xbox have 128mb and hd+ .... that would be sweet!
