  1. Remaining parts for sale. There is one clear dvd bezel that’s barely visible, so I circled it. Still plenty of consoles for sale. Send me a DM if interested.
  2. Just leaving this here for reference visibility. Zerg did receive all of the purple parts. I’ll update the list/picture
  3. Hey there. Glad you made it. I’ll send you a DM
  4. Are the printable buttons you’re speaking of, the ones that are suitable replacements for the missing buttons in the picture above?
  5. Yes I do. Feel free to send a DM. I’m still alive. New job position hasn’t left much time for hobbies. Hoping to eventually balance it all out.
  6. Wouldn’t it be the other way around tho? Other bios don’t support HDMI I’d rather have the native HDMI running perfectly than be upset I can’t use another bios that would only offer me a few small features.
  7. Just in time for FW2.1 enabling 128mb ram usage and 100% compatibility for region exclusives.
  8. You don’t have to open it up now if you have the ability to connect through Ethernet. Honestly you really only need to open your console once, maybe twice to mod and upgrade HDD. Load it up while it’s already open using a faster transfer program such as FatXplorer. Assemble it all back together and then when you want to add or remove a few things in the future, you’ll still be able to through the Ethernet cable and FTP. Adding only a game or two doesn’t take more than a couple mins.
  9. Sounds like a classic clock capacitor leakage scenario. Best to open it up and check for busted caps. If there are some others besides the clock cap, then you need to replace them. Edit: The clock capacitor does not need to be replaced. Leakage can cause traces underneath the board to rot which causes FRAG.
  10. I don’t know much about these things, but I did a quick search and Amazon Preferred for $11. I’m guessing that as with most things, the cheaper the price, the lower the quality. Not saying it’s junk whatsoever, just that it probably won’t be as good as a more expensive would. I read some of the non 5️ Reviews and there were some mixed issues. Saw one that complained about latency while gaming and a couple about noise coming from another device being plugged in while in use. The biggest thing I noticed was that it was HDMI 1.4 and not 2.0. This may or may not be the one you have. I guess try having one cable plugged in and see if that helps. Make sure your HDMI cables can handle the connection of the device. Check your Xbox One video settings for the HDMI connection. Is it possible that could be forcing 720 into letterbox?
  11. A basic black one sold on eBay in March for $370 with free shipping.
  12. Best case scenario, you’re just missing a dashboard and now can’t boot into anything. If you have the ability to burn a DVD-R I’d definitely burn a copy of OGXBOXINSTALLER and see if you can install a dash. Being that you’re able to boot into a disc is a good sign.
  13. That pretty much sums it all up. You're chasing a unicorn at this point.
  14. If you don’t already have one made and have a DVD burner, make a copy of the Rocky5 Extras Disc. Sounds like you just need to add a dashboard. You can use any installer disc for that matter but since your soft modded, I suggest the Rocky5 disc.
  15. If you’re capable of the soldering, I’d start off by giving all the connections a good reflow with some fresh solder and flux. I’ve seen several users have a loose or unstable connection after bringing their old ones out from the closet. If no current travels through them for 10-15 years, it doesn’t seem illogical for the joints to become brittle. Wouldn’t hurt replacing the old capacitors either.
  16. I’m not able to read the topic because of huge font. Is it just me?
  17. All part of my reasoning for a pinned topic. Tons of great info here.
