Lexieye
When I originally soft modded the XBOX i loaded it with indi bios and TSOP it with a liquid wire glue trace as me being very short sighted and shaky handed DIDNT’ want to destroy the board soldering. for a long time at first boot it would go to just black screen with the words IND BIOS then to XBMC-EMUSTATION all of a sudden NOW I have the original flubber that goes white and then error 13. I can get over this by holding eject button at boot which then goes straight to the dash what am I doing wrong model V1.2/ v1.3. Made in China, 2003, week:36 line:5. Lexieye
I swapped the HD for the original and it booted. I then swapped it back and we are ok to go there is no stock MS dash? In the C:// drive in folder Do Not Touch it is empty? I tried to add the folder 5960 and Filza said it already existed with 100’s of errors. (Parts of the files are still in there) i ftp the 5960 folder to the F:// drive and when I tried to run xboxdash xbe it rebooted to ERROR 21 rebooting brought me back to XBMC-EMUSTATION so I’m back at situation 1# black bios straight into dash white bios error 13 The original problem is because I selected mod-chip in options situation 2# Will installing Aladdin XT break my soft mod setup? please help Edited February 27, 2022 by Lexieye
MadMartigan
I’ve seen great reviews on the simplicity of the conductive ink pen method but mixed opinions on the results of using it. Did you remove the ink after you performed the flash or did you leave it on the board? That was definitely one of the issues people presented on this method. Personally I have never used it so I have no say in the matter. Did you add or remove any files before this error occurred? Did you change any settings such as dashboard? Have you removed the clock cap already and checked for any leakage causing trace damage? You could always screenshot both drives from within the file explorer and compare the files to see what’s missing. I don’t think Installing a mod chip on top of the TSOP will do any good. I think you’d have to remove the TSOP first or the chip won’t boot. That has been my experience. Pretty sure one of the wizards around here would know what has caused this issue

How ever, I don't think that the TSOP is the problem. Error 13 is because of missing dashboard files. The stock HDD boot fine as Lexieye wrote. So what I would try is to set up the 1TB HDD on the PC using FatExplorer. And ofc you can keep your files on F and G if you like. At first download this pack : https://1fichier.com/?kinvner9q3c4dy7yiobz Unpack it and launch FatExplorer. Mount C and E and backup your files of these partitons (Just to be on the safe side). After thats done, copy the content of the folders C & E which are included in this pack to the partitons of your HDD. Now grab your XBMC-Emustation backup (which I assume was on E) and copy it back to the E partiton. And because you are using the iND bios edit the ind-bios.cfg and link it to your XBMC-Emustation. Example: DEFAULTXBE=\Device\CdRom0\default.xbe DASH1=\Device\Harddisk0\Partition1\XBMC-Emustation\default.xbe DASH2=\Device\Harddisk0\Partition2\evoxdash.xbe DASH3=\Device\Harddisk0\Partition2\xboxdash.xbe Partition1 is the E:\ drive. Partition2 is C:\. The recommended path to install XBMC-Emustation is E:\XBMC-Emustation. The config fallback is C:\evoxdash.xbe which, in case you used the linked files above, should boot up UnleashX. That should not fail but if, it will load the default xboxdash.xbe (Original XBox dashboard.) When all that is done put the HDD back in your XBox and power her up.

KaosEngineer
What type of hard drive are you using? A SATA with IDE-to-SATA adapter and the stock 40-wire 40-pin IDE cable. Swap out the IDE cable for an 80-wire 40-pin high-speed one.
