Anyone Recommend a Source for a Hd Av Cable?

Recommended Posts

As above really, After trying a Pound HDMI converter and finding it lacking I was looking for a OG box component lead to get the most out of these little gems.

But the only ones I can see on Ebay are the £5 jobies which may or may not be shielded but prob not....

such as these:

So anyone know where I can get one? Ime fine with 3rd party stuff and dont mind paying upto £20-30 but I aint paying the asking prices of the originals lol

How about to making your own:

Get an XBox360 one and one of those cheap cabels from ebay/amazon and start soldering (again).

I have an original OG box component AND on my other xbox, I use the one you can see on your Ebay-link (I bought them here: Please login or register to see this link.

I can see no difference between both (the OG box x component has digital-audio, so you can hear the difference o.c.)

You could try asking TEK Nemesis on here

Soft modding is like masturbating, It gets the job done but it's nothing like the real thing.

He makes them from a Xbox 360 component lead. If he doesn't he will know how does.

I've done tons of these, and I have some boards left over. If anyone wants it would be 90 shipped each board anywhere in the us. I don't have any rep in this forum but I have an ebay account with a bunch of reviews and I've done a few trades over at r/hardwareswap.

Got a version 1.0 that is flashing orange (high temp) immediately after power up.  ADM1032 chip looks good and meters out fine for power and I2C bus connections, but when I throw a logic analyzer on the bus, it never returns a READ response.

Compare that to a "good" box I have than returns both MB and CPU temps over and over during the boot process.

Before I replace it, any other thoughts?  Clock cap was still on the board, but actually looked pretty good (minimal leakage), and the ADM1032 and surrounding area has been cleaned several times with IPA.
