I have now gone over the weldings..same situation..but let's forget about cutting the wire that united the squares in red and if it starts again in the original mode I do soft mod ...
I have other xbox 1.6 I try again on another when I have time .. if I have the soft mos on a v. 1.6 should i first remove the softmod?

how can I install a cloned hard disk on a softmod?
I tried to clone only C and E with chimp but it also formatted F.
I thought to do it all again and then with chimp always block the hardisk without making a clone, in this way it should block it with the correct eprom?

If the hard drive key has been nulled in the Xbox

And the hard drive you cloned has had the key nulled

You can swap hard drives from different softmodded xbox

And to clone a hard drive it 1st needs to be unlocked to read and write.

but then you can cancel the key in the xbox softmod, so as to use any hard disk? I knew it can't be done ...

i currently have an xbox softmod with original hardisk. Then I have a 500 gb disk already ready that I use on xbox tsop or chipped. I want to put it on the xbox softmod without losing the game files and graphics

A hard drive from a TSOP/Chipped  Xbox will not work in a Softmod Xbox.

how do I undo the key in an original hard drive where I made the soft mod? I have a little confusion, but the eprom? the hard drive does not interface well with the motherboard eprom?

I ask you all these questions, because I don't want to spend hours and hours putting games and apps on the hard disk of the softmod, I already wanted to use one that I had cloned with dragon already configured for the 500GB chipmod. Maybe changing key or resetting .. to adapt it to the softmod

In a softmod Xbox the hard drive key and the eeprom key have to be the same

 

The null key is 00000000000000000000000000000000

ok then I put everything back on the hardisk manually via ftp games emulators and apps .. ok tancks dave .. as soon as i finish the 2 tb i will contact you to see if everything works correctly ..
