WANTED - UK Modder who can install 128mb ram mod.

Soooooooo I started to attempt the 128mb ram mod myself today. I was using a mix of soldering iron and hot air but after painstakingly getting the first chip lined up perfectly, then soldered on, TWICE and then both times it ending up ever so slightly out of line.... I BOTTLED IT, removed the chip, cleaned up and put away all the equipment. I clearly don't have the patience or a steady enough hand to do this mod  

I am now looking for anyone in the UK who can do this mod for me. I will happily pay for the service. 

Its a 1.4 console. So no stacking needed. 

Anyone out there who can be my saviour???

There's a UK installer named RedOverlord in the MakeMHz discord. Probably charges $100 or so for install. You could always ask @Rocky5 as well.

If you want a good deal but some leg work I’m looking for some cheap crystal case parts sent to USA without the guts. I’ll pay for the cost of course. If you’re interested send your board with it, I’ll ram for free and you cover the $20-$25 to ship it back.

Exactly what case parts are you looking for? Is it a basically a crystal shell that you need?

Red overlord (Toine on FB group) is active on the Xbox scene discord also. He’s not in the UK but is in Europe. Talented guy who’s more than capable.

Forgot to add, I always hand solder, no hot air used at all for long term reliability. Same with the xeniums etc.

Hello! There's a guy called James, based near Bristol, which can install the extra ram chips for you. Prices are listed below.

He's helped me in the past with performing a tsop on my xbox and doing other bits. I've been very pleased, so can highly recommend him. I've asked him install those ram chips on my xbox when I send in my console in a few weeks. Can report back in the quality of the mod, but am sure it'll be spot on.
