So I went ahead and completed the set of wide icons for XBMC. They look great in MC360 and probably with other skins too. Its taken 20 years but we finally have a full set Download the full set here - XBMC Wide Icons Full Retail Games The folder icons in the video are here - XBMC Wide Icons (Folders) Ready to use in XBMC MC360 pack (all renamed to default.tbn, just copy to games and refresh thumbnails in XBMC) XBMC Wide Icons full Retail renamed Original pack that the complete pack is based on. I take ZERO credit for any of the icons included in here - XBMC Wide Icons (Games) If you spot any missing games then let me know. I "Think" I've got them all bar maybe a couple of regional variations maybe...... I know this is a really long shot... but does anyone out there still have a set of the XBMC Wide Icons. I have an old school XBMC setup that I have transferred to a Cerbios console with a full set installed. Only problem is I am missing a LOT of icons. I did get the pack that is on Archive but that is missing around 200 icons.... I'm sure that some of these existed as the "Official" wide icon pack HERE had 899 and thats more than the archive pack has. Every other link I can find for any wide icon sets is LOOOOOOONG dead because the file host used is a thing of history. Not even the wayback machine has been able to save my ass this time lol. ANYTHING any of you can link me to will be greatly appreciated

It's a shot in the dark but I have a OGX360 that during our home move the USB ports broke off all the boards and not sure it can be recovered. I'm looking to see if there is any place to buy a OGX360 (4 Controller)

As the title says, I'm looking for suggestions of a large capacitor kit from a UK supplier. I want a nice supply to be able to fully recap 5 or 6 consoles. I have NO IDEA what i'm buying when it comes to these things and have only bought the made up packs from Ebay etc that are for one console (I would of bought from console5 but the shipping kills that ). Mouser UK seem to have a lot of kits but like I said i have no clue which set would suit... https://www.mouser.co.uk/c/passive-components/capacitors/capacitor-kits If anyone out there can point me in the right direction or suggest another supplier/kit then I am all ears and would be massively grateful

So, back in the day, I was very addicted to Amiga Demo. When I discovered that there were demos even on Xbox, I started to download them to my Xbox. I remember 'Doomsday' by Complex and 'Complex' by Doomsday. You can easily find the first one, but the second one is only downloadable as a video. I searched on my old Xbox hard drive with no luck, but maybe someone here remembers them and can find a copy of 'Complex' by Doomsday? Also, this is my first post here https://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=10586 https://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=12093

I am interested in a DVT-3 or DVT-4. I am interested in building a setup that makes use of the raptor PCI card, uses the DVD emulator, uses windbg through the serial port and I want to have a dedicated PC with XP on it. I want to put this setup on its own desk with a lamp on it, complete with a Microsoft mouse and keyboard. I do NOT want to have to pay 3000 dollars for it, like below. I would LOVE to look at the HDD on this thing, but not for 3000 bucks. https://www.ebay.com/itm/166657178177?itmmeta=01J0ETS9N6JHNH211N76NCF7C1&hash=item26cd8aba41:g:nrIAAOSweNZl-ZT4&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA0KReBZy16cIKuyWyezmZjzLzlheRyTPVj2WsclBkTJRmoF%2F8zgGBbgJJYpRfiqDD2s0nDSfRdyFwLsQVz1hHGYWkT1CRUCE7vAOI3l9x%2B5%2Bq9rKXLpEbL%2FqbtvT2S5G33LxT%2Beo9v5XFY1IMgBx1xDl9D5Jf1LPbWdY4h6DzMs2T%2FgH4Tu3a5B5a%2BO4ftVKnLkGEwjPtMVW5b%2Fnp1TWiTIatqYoYnp2Vb7bau%2FlqlRPPDQkRdvCRpNiqi7%2BBDtPgcgBaiQBhAeB6Qb%2FjvzDAEQE%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR9Sa5dqDZA Nah, too expensive. Anybody got an extra one they'd be willing to part with? I can get a Raptor PCI card. @GoTeamScotch

First of all, how are you all? I have been away for like 2 years, but this forum has been for me, one of the of the most welcome and good vibes forum ever for me! I didn't know where to post this, but here we go: If anyone knows me (and most of us) I have done everything to make my OG Xbox look amazing! I built my own Xbox Component cable with a 360 original component cable, and since then I have the most amazing looking image, plus using Xbmc4gamers, I remove the flicker filtering or put it very low (around 1 or 2) and I am seeing this console as sharp as it can be! But from that I came to the realization that most games suffer from this horrible lack of anisotropic filtering (or very very low) as textures when seeing them at an angle, they become this blurry looking mess! All games suffer from this, and it is a shame, because all games have inherently VERY good textures! It is a SHAME! So this is the thing, we have learned with time, that in actuality a "good" or higher amount of anisotropic filtering DOES NOT tax the GPU much, if at all. Couldn't we FORCE games to run at a higher level of anisotropic filtering on the OG Xbox?? Thing is, the console should be powerful enough to make its textures look better!! I am testing the Prince of Persia games for instance, and on my PS2 and Gamecube, textures look pristine on them, AT ANY ANGLE! And those console are far weaker than the mighty OG Xbox!! A good game to check this out is Indiana Jones, the game has fairly good looking textures, but the bad anisotropic filtering makes it all blurry whenever textures are at an angle, but they are there! And they are very good textures! Is there anything like a patch for this, or is this in the works maybe? Also if I am posting in the wrong sub forum, please guide me to a place where my question can be analyzed. My best regards to all of you guys, and thanks for your time and good disposition. Hector H.

I've been working on a python app that's sort of a replacement for extract-xiso, plus some other features like CSO compression/decompression, iso scrubbing, attach xbe generation, and batch processing. I have it done for the most part besides being able to write a new xiso from a game folder, which I'd consider a pretty important thing to be able to do. This seems like the most complex task extract-xiso handles and the code for that program is honestly pretty hard for me to follow (I'm not fluent in C and it doesn't appear to be super well organized) so I'm looking for some more resources on the xiso format, how it's laid out, constraints, specs, and such.

Hi, I'm looking for an Xbox debug kit. I thought about modding my current rig to run the proper requirements to have a working development environment, but I'd feel a bit more secure working on a proper piece of hardware to start developing and learning how to make homebrew. The current listings for these consoles are a bit insane(Seeing one being listed for almost $1,000) for my budget and I have no intent to ever get rid of it. I do have some things of value that I'd be willing to add for trade. - an Xecuter 3 - an X3 pro switch - 2 complete translucent clear ghost cases - 1 complete translucent red ghost case Doesn't hurt to try asking the community and I hope I can return back to the community with a debug kit. Thanks, Zerg

I’m finishing up a custom Seattle Seahawks console for someone. The clear coat on the case is drying as it type this. Tomorrow I’ll install a dual color (green/blue) 80 LED kit, with on/off switches for each color. All that is left to do is the Jewel. I’ve been thinking for weeks now and can not decide on what to do with it. I don’t want to be lazy and leave it clear. The best thing i have come up with is blue with clear letters and that’s just lame to me All ideas are welcome. Some of them may get laughed at.

let me start out by saying recently ive been wanting an OG Xbox to mod. last friday at work(im a trash man) a resident was throwing one out. took it home and the inside out looks like it was hardly used. i got all the parts to mod except i'm still waiting on the game. I had bought it but amazon or whoever the seller was sent me the ps2 version when clearly the picture said xbox. anyway, i did some research on replacing the HDD. I know i would need the SATA to IDE. do i plug that into the board? i was thinking at least 1 or 2tb drive. which one is known to work in an og xbox so i'm not buying the wrong one? Thanks in advance

Hey everyone, just dusted off my chipped OG unit and I'm looking to update the bios (if there are benefits?) and dashboard (looking for something that has nicer interface than my current). Fairly certain I have a 1.1 motherboard (followed this). I've attached some pictures of my dashboard info and modchip (Shows Executer2 below Xbox animation when booting). Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

Hello everyone! i am an engineer by trade and currently working towards cybersecurity certs. Hardware hacking seems to be a big part of the pen testing scene, and a friend recommended that i try xbox hacking as a starting point, as it could then develop my taste for the grind that comes with learning hacking. Right now just looking around for tools and the like to try out and get used to, any recommendations are welcome.

Thanks for your time and any help you fine folks can provide. Here's what I got, and here's some symptoms and our current situation. 2020 bought TSOP'd V1.1 from a nice gent on ebay. It worked fine for the past two years, then recently encountered problems. IND bios, UnleashX Ver:0.39.0.222A Build 572, Kernel 1.0.5003.67, MS dash Kernel: 1.00.5003.67 D:1.00.5659.03, Upgraded HDD to Seagate Barracuda 750gb upon purchase, reapplied thermal paste to heatsinks/chips, clock cap was removed by seller. This xbox is my brothers, so the symptoms aren't first hand, but described as best as he could to me. I have the original HDD around still. Last 2 months, symptoms: Occasional freezing while watching videos on XBMC. Reboot would seem to allow playback. Error message about the skin not functioning properly, so he changed to another skin and seemed to solve that issue. Occasional freezing during game play with Halo (1 or 2, can't remember), the last freeze had a few purple bars in the video output (someone suggested that the lines/bars reminded them of GPU issues they experienced with older computer repairs they did in the past) No boot, current situation: IND Bios logo shows up but nothing more. It stays on the IND screen indefinitely while both of the heat sinks get very hot. (Aside from the heat, it reminds me of bad memory issues with computers not booting. I've never got any screen activity with bad RAM though, so when the IND screen shows, it makes me think that RAM may not be the issue.) Actions taken: Opened xbox and removed HDD and CD drive, attempted startup but no change in results. Found three caps in front of large heat sink bulging. Replaced with same value caps from a parts xbox, no change in results. Redid thermal paste on heatsinks, no change in results. Disconnected front USB cables(wire connectors to controller ports). So just the PSU, fan, and power/eject connectors still attached but no change in results. FTP timed-out, no change in results. No other obvious defects, but my eyes may be getting aged and I could be missing something. But generally, I dont see anything burnt, no other visually bad caps, PSU seems to be working regularly. I'm not familiar with the TSOP process, just the plain jane softmod. Is it possible to redo the TSOP, or is this sounding like a hardware issue to you folks? My brothers and cousins love coming over to get system link going, so being down a box is a bit annoying and we may be losing some saves and profiles that I'm not able to FTP off. Any help or pointers is greatly appreciated.
