    I think you have a chip problem rather than a trace problem as you have said that it boots up to M$ dash fine. Does it also turn off okay? check you have not dislodge any of the wires coming off of the the chip to the motherboard. If you have a multi meter check for continuity of the connections.

    Okay so flash a bios for a V1-5 not V1.6 that supports F & G and you should be good to go.

    Burn a copy of the HeXen18 and flash a bios to your Aladdin chip. Do you know which version of xbox you have?

    No, it is in the bios not on your hdd, you may need to update your bios as KE mentions.

    If you are going to swap for another 250gb, try a get hold of a pata drive as the boot time is quicker than a sata drive with an adapter.

    Yes, just use chimp and clone the new drive as you did your previous or any tutorial on adding a larger drive to a softmodded box.

    You will need to back up the files as you will lose them when you reformat F.

    burn a copy of bios checker to a disk and you can check your bridges are good if you cannot flash the tsop.

    If you softmod the xbox 1st then do the tsop bridges, you can then load hexen and load the tsop bios depending on your xbox rev.

    No the Aladdin should have a evox M8+ bios on it so you should be good to go.

    you could do both a have a different bios on both and a switch for the mod chip.

    Nice one, when I have a bit of time I will give this a try, I will get a couple of practice chip boards before I try it though. Do you mind me asking where you got the chips from?

    Not unless you want more than 1 bios with a dual chip or add a lcd screen with something like an X3, which potentially has 9 bios.

    Startech 18in dual drive ultra ata ide cable is good.

    I am using a startech ide cable and sata adapter with a seagate 2tb barracuda, v1.6 and X3 chip and bios. I have pretty good boot times. I will post the boot time next time I am at home.

    Error 5 is unlocked hdd, are you loading to M$ dash?

    As you have a chipped box you can just format and build the drive with hexen. Cloning is only necessary for softmodded boxes because the hdd needs to be locked.

    If your Xbox has been modded you can play pal or ntsc games. Use enigmah app to change from ntsc to pal.
