  1. Thank you again. Time to update the X3 repair that just came in.
  2. Have you guys tried to set 480p and 720p and turn off 1080i in unleashx? After a few reboots and these settings many of my xboxes have crisp video.
  3. These are client builds. I don't even own an xbox. I build and sell them all or get them sent in / dropped off for upgrades Same with all consoles I work on. I work everyday all day so never have time to game. Anything you guys need tested let me know as I have all models in most of the time.
  4. I'm on the discord and saw that - Setup #1 I tested was perfect so the bug is only for some setups. I will update regardless when released. Thank you for the heads up.
  5. Cerbios 2.03 udma 5 Xbox 1.0 Xecuter 3 128mb Startech 80 pin 16tb Seagate Only changed boot animations Worked smooth here and 2.03 reduced boot lag for me from 2.02R Will also be testing other xbox revisions On discord people are having issues after messing with the .ini so there are some issues Lets see if we get 2.03R
  6. Thank you for the heads up. Gonna tinker with boot animations.
  7. I ordered a 15 pack and I too have this revision. Havent had time to see if flashable yet. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3256802949448691.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.0.0.3b591802CDEhrd
  8. Thats where I have mine and boot times are fast as can be.
  9. Try the debug one as well
  10. Titan bios and this isnt an issue. Been so busy building titan builds havent had any time to test cerbios. Just got HD+/Titan/UDMA5/4TB/128MB working butter smooth no issues finally. I did do one cerbios since then and no boot delay so they might have fixed it in new version. Are you running most recent cerbios?
  11. I was sent everything + 1 extra xbox I simply swapped out to make 1 working xbox, added 128mb ram, 8TB + 80 Pin + Startech adapter, Leds and tried my best to patch up the cracks etc. Hard to say on price since most parts were supplied.
  12. I bought some lots of broken controllers and I have a few of these and haven't checked for fuses. One I dropped and no power after = I'm actually working on some now. I will let you know if I figure these out. Most usually need a cord, breakaway cable or clean off liquid damage if any. Not these dead ones.
  13. Doing another 1.6 - Harvesting from a liquid damage un-fixable 1.6 donor - Had about 10 of these when @Prehistoricmandropped the bomb on us! Thank you bud! What I have discovered thus far: Hynix ram chips are slightly thicker. If your 1.6 has hynix chips ram legs will barely reach making it harder to solder them down. Samsung on samsung is much easier as samsungs have a lower profile and legs are slightly longer. Samsung on Samsung: (I recommend this for first timers) Hope this helps anyone.
  14. Nothing left. I clean cpu / gpu and ram chips with this and it's made life easier
  15. If you clean flux with ipa and slight residue left behind it can be conductive. I clean with acetone now as its cheaper, better and dries super fast.
  16. I use kingbo flux and this doesnt happen. I meant because some ram chips have shorter legs and barely reach so you want as much clearance as possible.
  17. Align 1 corner and solder tak 1 pin. Do the same for the opposite side repeat all 4 corners. This way you cant fuck up. I then like to start next to the soldered pin(s). If on 1.6s handle pin 28 now so you don't solder it down like I do all the time Check all pins with tweezers as multimeter can give you a false postivie. Xblast os can have all 4 banks pass and you can black screen once you flash another bios. Check your pins (Usually where you struggled) as this will be why. This one here passed all tests in xblast but black screened most bios's. Was a few pins not soldered down right. This one was the toughest one yet. Make sure if doing a 1,6 piggyback to clean both ram chips, on mobo and new or donors. You want nothing in between, not even flux.
  18. XBOX 1.6 128MB Ram upgrade 8TB Seagate Baracuda UDMA 5 Blue leds on each side Blue led fan on back Color changing leds front power / eject Color changing leds all 4 players For a client
  19. Fume extractor always on and its a hakko 30 years doing this and most wouldn't believe how many consoles come through. I stay humble yet honest and get blessed. I agree with what you say 100%.
  20. Hakko solder station + Quick here and love the combo. Reball machine is used way less since quick was added to the family Hakko: Have had this one since about 2013 and same tips in extremely good condition prolly 5,000 ish repairs mods on this single station. Quick only have a year with it with almost 1k repairs / mods and it works like new (Been going hard on repairs this year) mostly switches (Replaced an Ayoue with the Quick and man what a difference in quality) If one breaks I will replace with the same model. For me its not money its finding a combo with high success rate and this is it for me. Was amtech guy but after reballing 10 years kingbo was best in the end and stuck with that. I use that for all my mods, repairs, reballs, and consoles.
  21. The quick I would never change for anything bud. Plus thats the guy that says reballs are shit lol
  22. I use my Quick 861DW hot air + Kingbo Flux to remove chips from donor boards. They come up in 20-30 seconds and after a few hundred 100% success. They have all worked on 128MB upgrades.
