  1. Hello Everyone. Since I found this site I have dug into my basement and uncovered all my xboxs and ready to get back to them after many years of just sitting. One thing I found was me X-tender kit made by Farmer. Does anyone have any insite on this kit or advice? I am excited for getting this going..Also, I was wondering, with the appropriate adapters, could I possibly put in SATA drives? Potentially 6 TB...Oh my!!LOL

  3. I just FTP'd my "xbox rip" of disc 38 from my pc to my f:/apps folder in my xbox and then launched it. it works great. These discs can be archived in an functional state for the xbox if theyre ripped properly, on an xbox, not a pc. DISC 38 VERIFIED WORKING. Can i get a second verification from somebody else on it.

  5. (So after trial and error and finally getting things right (I hope), I wanted to make a record of this under this topic heading so that others can read it in one place.) For the X3 chip, these days it's best just to use the 3294 BIOS (because 2TB HDDs are easy to find and so are the XBox games). After holding down the white controller button when you startup the XBox, go to the New HDD setup area. You must tell the X3 BIOS to disregard that hard-coded partition table and use the one on the disk (i.e. that XBpartitionner automatically creates). Then, flash the 1-4 and or 5-8 banks with the 3294 BIOS that forces 480p. (I flashed banks 1-4 and 5-8 with the same BIOS for redundancy.) Using a BIOS that forces the 480p will eliminate the weird looking transition between the flubber screen and the dashboard splash screen. (It does that because it switches graphic modes when the dash loads, if you have enabled a higher resolution in the dash settings.) From there, use XBpartitioner 1.3. (As I installed a HDD larger than 2TB, my F & G partition sizes were around 1020GB each. For a 2 TB drive, people have been using around 927GB each. The rule is that LBA48 cannot support more than 1 TB per partition so if you have selected a value higher than 1020GB per partition, you will run into problems.) Good luck!

  7. Ah, I see there are simple one-time donations and membership subscriptions. I did a Fanatical member subscription, , which doesn't show up on the donations bar total - odd - oh well. Thanks

  10. Saw someone else's pictures of their XBlast Lite v1 Pre-edition modchip and U4 was labeled AUA. I see many different SMD chips with that labeling. Not sure why many chips use the same SMD marker. But not all are in a 6 pin package. I think it's a 1.2V - 8V, 3A PFET High Side Load Switch w/ Level Shift & Adj Slew Rate Control - TI TPS27081A or similar part from another manufacturer.

  11. Yeah, I checked the repository before creating this thread, sadly no way to get an XBlast atm, Benny not wanting to sell anymore, nor release the CPLD and Schematic sources. I just wanted LCD on my HaloBox. damn..

  12. I THINK..I remeber you could only uses eide drives up to 1 gig if they made them that big. But I was thinking if you used sata adapters yoy could go up to 2tb for each drive..BUT I am not positive. This will be a fun project
