>Making retail ready disks I don't think you know just how expensive pressed runs are, especially when it'll have to be a batch of at least a 1000, probably more. Which still ignores that the signed boot part of retail disks is likely still MS property. Not saying you can't, just that there's gonna be some serious hurdles.

Cerbios on a Xenium with a component to HDMI adapter possible?
phrunt replied to phrunt's topic in Hardware Mods
Thanks, all sounds pretty straight forward, pretty easy the Xenium I guess as I can have a bunch of different bios's. It's not going to mess with the data on my hard drive in the process? -

Either way, slowest to highest speed work your way up or try the fastest if it doesn't work go down to the next lower UDMA mode. -
Cerbios on a Xenium with a component to HDMI adapter possible?
phrunt replied to phrunt's topic in Hardware Mods
I'm not sure what brand it is, it's been in there for years, doesn't have a brand written on it, I have an 80-wire cable on there. So I should try the fastest one and see if it works, and work my way down? -

KaosEngineer replied to phrunt's topic in Hardware Mods
Which IDE-to-SATA adapter are you using? The various UDMAn (n=4 and 5) releases are for higher maximum data transfer rates across the IDE bus: UDMA2 = 33.3MB/s UDMA3 = 44.4MB/s UDMA4 = 66.7MB/s UDMA5 = 100MB/s For anything higher than UDMA2, you need to swap out the original 40-wire 40-pin IDE cable for an 80-wire 40-pin high-speed cable. Edit: fixed max data transfer rates for the various UDMA modes. Source: UDMA - Wikipedia -

Hi team, thanks for creating this. I have given it a go with a Raspberry Pico-W using the pre compiled downloads from the GitHub releases page. It has not worked for me, so, probably a silly question, but this pre compiled release, will this only work on a Pico, rather than the Pico-W? I didn’t think they were too different in hardware, but happy to be wrong! Any help most welcome.

I'm so far behind on the Xbox stuff being out of it since long before Cerbios took over like a storm, I vagely remember Cerbios couldn't be used if using component cables to connect the Xbox to the TV? would I be right in saying this? I run my Xbox using the Microsoft Component adapter with the SDDIF on it, which the spdif connects to my Amp for audio and the component I use a component to HDMI adapter which runs to my TV. Is Cerbios going to work in this situation, and if so which Cerbios should I be using? I have a 2TB HDD full of stuff, I don't want to have to format that to get it going. From my reading today it sounds like I can just flash the bios using the Xenium OS tool, rather than any boot CD's, and that sounds the best way to go for it. Thanks for any assistance

Hi there, bought an X3 CE Console last year and have been looking for a X3CP to go along with it including the screen, it’s only the front panel I need, if anyone’s got one for sale I’d be interested in buying if it’s reasonably priced, thanks!

@Games_Lover This link that prtscn posted is the whole package. Both an HDMI audio extractor AND a headphone amp. Kudos. I might have to pick one of these up, myself.

Absolutely my experience with said “refurbished” things. If i was to buy something of that nature now it would have to be factory refurb and even then I’d probably still look it over. Lol. For non factory I’d expect a detailed list of actions performed and some pictures. Then I’d still verify after purchase. I tend to just refurbish my own stuff in the last decade or two. Lol. At least i know what was done, quality level of parts, and who did it.

Console is a 1.0, clock cap removed. Console has 128mb and has HDMI out. Unit is PAL and as such needs 220v. (IMPORTANT - This is NOT a Stellar or HD+, this HDMI mod predates both of those. This is an N64Freak motherboard, HDMI and 128mb both installed by him. Output is on par with the better external HDMI adapters such as the Chimeric). No controllers or cables included. 500gb sata HDD with XBMC4Gamers as dash. No content other than that. I also have an Xecuter 3 jewel and a few spare 3d printed buttons for the bank switches. Controller ports have blue LEDS, player 2 port LED has a loose connection and sometimes doesn't light up, this will be a simple fix for anyone who can mod an Xbox tho Putting it up here first before eBay. I'd rather it go to someone who actually knows what it is and how to use it than some randomer who will bombard me with questions after buying it. You might guess its not the first time I've sold one of these things All chip and Front panel features work as intended. I have had this console since the mid 00's and will be sad to see it go but I have no use for it anymore and Its time to let someone else enjoy it. Looking for offers around £500 plus shipping. I could be convinced to split the Xecuter bits out and sell just the Faceplate and chip if the offer is right! PM me with any questions and or offers ANY serious offer will be considered. Will add a couple more pics tomorrow.
