Images for the Apps

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I have the XBMC4Gamers installed and all the artwork is fine except for a few things that the auto installer can't seem to place.

I need to manually install the artwork for the applications, as I think they are in a location where the auto installer doesn't look. Can anyone upload their "_Resource" for apps, homebrew and emulators, so that I can copy them across? I dont have photoshop installed and cannot locate the artwork in the github download that I have picked up.

Thanks

The Xbox artwork installer is just that, Xbox. It doesn't install anything else due to the nature of the way it is coded by John. It looks in your game folders for default.xbe files and looks inside the xbe for the unique titleid numbers (which are the numbers your games saves are I'm UDATA). So apps do not have consistent titleids and many would have all zero's so the installer can't. For Emulators you can manually put the artwork on from GitHub. John may add these to the installer Application so you can use the manual install but not sure if he plans to do that or not. Unfortunately nobody has made application artwork really but if someone makes some good ones I am sure John can add them. At the very least they would need to provide a front and back scan image. Or you can use his artwork tools which you'll find on his YouTube.

I've seen many people with XBMC4Gamers that have the artwork for all the Apps, Emu's and homebrew. How do they manage to install them?

I finally got the parts for internal mounting of the OGx360, but i am not sure what to do with the reciever. Anyone got good ideas for where to put it internally, and in that case, how to get to the sync button easily?

      Is external mount best?

As above really, After trying a Pound HDMI converter and finding it lacking I was looking for a OG box component lead to get the most out of these little gems.
But the only ones I can see on Ebay are the £5 jobies which may or may not be shielded but prob not....
      such as these:

So anyone know where I can get one? Ime fine with 3rd party stuff and dont mind paying upto £20-30 but I aint paying the asking prices of the originals lol
