Hi, all I have modded a xbox with an flashable aladin modchip, every thing was fine, flash cerbios, the install xmbc for gamers, give back the xbox to the owner, he was happy. He notice after a few weeks that he got like some wave in the screen, so I search to find that could be from bad caps so he take me back is xbox to check it out. I take it appart to check if I see bad caps and I see nothing, I put back together the xbox and now it's booting and stuck on cerbios screen and when I try to boot with eject it's stuck on cerbios safe mode screen.

What could do that and what I could do to resolve this problem ?

Could be a bad DVD drive, faulty sata adapter, pinched IDE from putting the cover on like an ape. However i would swap the main caps regardless if they "look good", or at the very least use a multimeter and test them.  It's now a process of elimination. If you have a spare xbox or parts you can start to swap things to identify the problem.  If the problem isn't hardware related at all, it could be that the hdd is dying or is corrupt as well.  The issue isn't the bios.

I have not put back the cover just let it open to test, for the caps problem I will try to resolve this problem later.  I unplug all the dvd and the hdd drive after 3 mins I got the message telling me that there is a problem with probably the sata adapter. I plug back the hdd and start it in safe mode and I don't got this message only stuck on the cerbios screen. I don't have lose part normally I don't work anymore on does system.  I will try to format the hdd in ntfs and putting back in could it be a solution ?

FatExplorer is the way to go it's extremely easy and fast. Even if it worked before the best thing you can do at this point is redo that HDD. Did you save any clones or imgc for the drive you're working with? It'd be a pain to have to setup all those games and stuff again, (if you loaded anything on it). It's most likely stuck on the main Cerbios loading screen because it can't pull the correct files from the HDD.

So I have done what they say in the tutorial now I got error 13 detected wich can be a bad udma setting rebooting into safe mode please try reflashing with a different udma. After that it reboot in safe mode and give me the same message.

What should I do now, thank a lot of the help.

Using a SATA hard drive and IDE-to-SATA adapter combo?

If so, swap out the stock 40-wire 40-pin IDE cable for a high-speed 80-wire 40-pin one to solve the error 13 problem.
