So I have an executer 3ce chip that is missing the reset/eject adaptor. I have the cable that connects To the chip I just need to know which wires, that are connected to the eject/reset buttons on the Xbox, to splice into. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

The 1x9 pin connector of the front panel switch/LED board (right side of the picture) can be accessed through a slot in the RF shielding.

The second and fourth pins from the bottom are the power and eject buttons respectively as seen below.

No, I just included a picture to show the top and bottom trace layers, top silkscreen and board outline.  Easier for the OP to see the connections.

Pin 1 is the square pad of the 2x5 connector and right-most pin of the 1x9 pin connector on the bottom left of the PCB.

J1 - 2x5 connector pin numbers

0 8 6 4 2
0 0 0 0 0
0 0 0 0 # <--square pad
9 7 5 3 1

J3 - 1x9 connector pin numbers

9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1

Thanks for the image as well nice to see where all the traces lead to. I’m curious of that adapter board behind the xecuter board in this image. The one with the two white cables connected to it. That’s the one that came with my chip, which is throwing me off, I don’t know what it’s used for.

It's not really an X3 Control Panel (X3CP) PCB as the silkscreen shows in the Gerber files.

It's an X3 Reset/Eject Adapter PCB. Item #3 in the X3 Parts List image below. (I need to try and find one of these Parts List images for the X3CE too if Team Xecuter ever released one. Isn't it's PCB a different color? I need to double check. Edit: Yes it is, the X3CE is RED on the back (logo) side and WHITE on the component side.)

Awesome providing the gerbers for people not familiar with PCB making software and who don't know the pinout. I was wonder if you knew the part numbers used for the sockets on the board? I know it' some form of JST type connectors but no idea the pitch of the parts to find some alternatives. thanks

      Hi there,
Noob that just join this community for some solid advice/direction for my upgrade,
I have a working 1.6A xbox with a Super Aladdin Live modchip running XBMC on a 80 Gb IDE HDD
My aim is to upgrade the HDD to a 500 Gb Sata HDD (I know I could go bigger) and also upgrade to Rocky 5 instead....
      I currently have:
      - The 80 wire/40 pin IDE cable (ATA 100/133)
      - IDE to Sata converter
      - 500Gb Sata HDD
What are my options? Do I have to hot swap the HDD with the disk drive with a program running on the xbox ?
Thanks in advance for any help or links for guides/programs to help me !!
