Glad you got it working! It’s possible it was a setting the previous user changed in the bios, or it’s a setting that was played with in your dashboard, though if everything is working well I wouldn’t worry too much about it.

Here is another video video They both showcase the four thin traces on the edge of the motherboard that are responsible for the power button leds and associated functions though they don't explicitly say that. The points they are soldering jumper wires to will fix your problem. I had your problem and did followed these vids and it fixed my issue.

There are traces in your motherboard that have most likely corroded causing the issue. Check out this vid for a better look at what could be done to fix It. And if you haven’t done so already look at removing the clock capacitor if your revision Xbox has one. Video

It’s not a 1.6, you can tell since there are still spots for the extra ram chips. It may be a good idea to remove the whole motherboard (it’s pretty easy) so you can clean under it as well after you remove the capacitor.

I have a few x3 chips and purchased some of the cheaper 20x4 lcd panels to use and need to make some wiring harnesses for them. I can’t seem to find that style connector that was used on the chip. I’d like to at least have one end I can disconnect so the chip isn’t tied to the faceplate.

Is there any way to see what bios are flashed without going through all of the switch combos?

I've installed some aladdin chips and wired them by soldering the "BT" point to the ground pin on the Xbox LPC. I figured that would be the same for the Duox2 lite chip, however I found a couple pictures online showing that the "BT" point on a Duox2 Gs chip (Dual Bank) was soldered to pin No. 9 of the LPC which is 3.3v. I just want to be sure that I'm soldering the "BT" to the right point on the LPC in order for it to always be powered on.

I just finished the download, took about 9 days, and about 2 days to clone the image to a new 2tb HDD. I’ve heard some people report issues with the image so we shall see once I get the drive in my Xbox to see how well it works. Pretty straight forward so far. -
Nope I think you have it figured out. I was just confused by all of the extra files attached along with the skin file but I understand how it was meant to be used now.

Okay, soI figured out the ftp issue. I set my file transfers to 1 and that fixed it. So the xvm file goes into the root of each game folder, but where do I put the video file?

I’ve finally gotten my hands on this skin and was curious if there were any tutorials available to get it working properly? Also on a side note I’ve had hundreds of .png files fail to transfer during the ftp process. I’ve tried flashfxp and FileZilla both with difference transfer preferences only ending with the same results. So if anyone has had issues with that as well I’m all ears Thanks!

I started to download the XVGM Full skin from the torrent file linked on the OP of the thread and it made it to 20% but has stopped there for good showing no seeders. Does anyone want to seed it? Or if there is a direct link download that would be appreciated as well. Thank you!
