  1. As far as I know, no they are not compatibl. MakeMHz offers different EvoX patches for XboxHD+ and XBoxHDMI so I would assume that the XBoxHDMI iND patch will not work for the new XboxHD+.
  2. Flashin and reinstalling a HDD (Dashboards etc.) are 2 different things. You modchip/tsop needs a bios to boot, thats "flashing". And ofc you need a dashboard and apps, thats "setting up a new HDD". And yes on every installer I know these are sepperate steps.
  3. MakeMHz has a patch for Rocky's iND 5003 XISO bios for the older XBoxHDMI. But hnot for the newer XBoxHD+. https://github.com/MakeMHz/xbox-hd-plus/tree/master/patches
  4. If you want to solder it in your xbox (which is not needed, the VAP11N works extern as well) , do your self a favor and buy a "propper" soldering iron. Even you didn't solder much you will have way more fun and options. Check amazon or ebay etc. for a TS100 or the Pinecil (~ 40% cheaper ($35 US but almost the same) which I would recomend if you are in the US. https://www.amazon.com/-/de/dp/B096X6SG13/ref=sr_1_31?__mk_de_DE=ÅMÅŽÕÑ&dchild=1&keywords=ts100&qid=1631371980&sr=8-31 Rosin Core lead solder 60/40 ( I use Stanol) . Some 99% IPA. And some flux
  5. Vonets VAP11N WiFi-Bridge Here is a tutotial. It's german but you will get the idea. : https://circuit-board.de/forum/index.php/Thread/18455-XBOX-Classic-WiFi-Mod/
  6. Here are some evox pdf's : https://1fichier.com/?be0kh4wivtujx8ce6ix7
  7. The original PDF which is made by the devs is HQ. The smaller ones are "recreated". PDF24 can shrink PDF files for example. And in most cases you didn't even see a difference between the original and the "recreated" one. This PDF is a good example for that. If you have PDF's with HQ pictures, it may look different.
  8. A lot of PDF's manuals (Ava, UX , XBMC, EvoX etc.) and eBooks are on the OGXBox installer. And v2 will have even more of them.
  9. My MM shows 94,8nf so I would guess 95 or 100 nf. Mesured the cap of a 1.1 which should be the same value.
  10. Yea, I know, I know...... I finaly updated and fixed the OGXBox Installer 2021 Games Extras Disc 1 v1.0.3. Shame Log below. PEACE!
  11. I have heard that Margot Robbie will mary me, just rumors - I guess. MARGOT?
  12. Glad to hear that the 480p with the stock HDD and cable works. That means that the bios is working and your XBox and chip is ok. Back 2 your problem. It could also be the IDE cable. If you have another 80 wire on hand try to chnage that. Or in some cases the 40 wire works with SATA adapter. You could try that just see see what happneds. And I would try it with a freesh fromated HDD. Use FatXPlorer 3.0 for that. ( https://fatxplorer.eaton-works.com/3-0-beta/ ). And when FatXPlorercan read your HDD (which is hopefully unlocked?) your HDD should be also fine which leads us to either the IDE cable or Adapter.
  13. Test your origianl HDD with stock cabels and the 480p bios (Or is it already that setup?) . How ever, if that woks, something is wrong with your new HDD. You could try to wipe your HDD (or low lvl format it) on your PC using EaseUS Partition Master or HDD LLF Low Level Format Tool or what ever you find to do the job. When thats done put it back in your xbox and see what happend. You could also try (as a first step) to just format it on your PC using FatXplorer 3.0 Beta 14. After that you could simply set up the HDD on your PC and then put it pack and see what happend. Maybe you are lucky and it works first try. If not wait and see if someone else has another idea what you could try.
  14. Hmmmm.... Sweet. You talk about pudding (I hope chocolate pudding) and me is chillaxing in the bathtub watching some netflix and have no chance to to to the fridge to get some pudding as well. ÄHHHM and if you speak about that english pudding, you can keep it - all!
  15. If you don't have an IDE port in your PC and your DVD drive didn't recognizeany disk, you could use an IDE PC drive to boot the DVD BUT you would need to let the yellow cable connectet to your xbox drive in order to control the PC drive and to avoid that the xbox drops out because there is no drive. So you would put the installer in the pc dvd dive and hock it up to the IDE of the xbox and power up with your PC PSU (for example). The shut down the xbox with the installer in your drive and power the xbox back on. The installer should boot.
  16. You can't brick your XBox by just renaming a XBE. Pu an Installer disk (no matter which OGXBox or Hexen) in your DVD drive and shut down your console. After that power her back on with the dvd the drive already. After that she should boot into the installer and you can use the file explorer to rename your xbe back or simply fresh install the system. EDIT : In case you have an SATA HDD you can use FatXplorer 3.0 and edit all files on your PC.
  17. Hey, anyone of you has a copy of the latest release of Mimesis v3.30 or a source I can get it from? (And please don't say XBINS or the project page - thanks)
  18. On the screen you try to install just a single dashboard. But still strange that the disk stuck using "3.1.2. AiO Setup a new large HDD". I had that one time but after a reboot the disk worked. There are some of these latly without the master and slave umper which I assume are also not working. ( Picture: https://imgur.com/a/u6toQY8 )
  19. Right, now that you say that, I see it as well. Didn't paid to much attention to the "stuck on flash" screen. I have quick checked the evox.ini and both are supportet there: Flash = 0xbf52,"SST 49LF020A",0x40000 Flash = 0xbf57,"SST 49LF002A / 49LF002B",0x40000 So the problem could maybe the lattice which tries to use 0xbf57 instead of 0xbf52 because of a misslabeled SST? That would meen, that it would be impossible to flash these chips whitout reflashing the Lattice with an programmer or flashing the SST external. Some weeks ago, I had some fake DuoX2 chips which I was not able to flash. I needed to desolder them and flash them with my programmer. But after that they worked fine but still not flashable when soldered (Not even when I used the fix which was on the website to force them into flash mode).
  20. You can ignore the "Unsupported modchip" massage. This is just if you would like to flash XBlastOS to the Modchip. So just select the wheel symbole on the right and try to flash the chip (HDD Flash option). One thing you could try before flashing is go to " 3.1.2. AiO Setup a new large HDD " and install the HDD again using my installer. Maybe you just miss a file on C or E (Depending on the bios which is on the chip) or a .xbe points to a wrong folder. Worth a shot in my opinion. In case your bios loads "evoxdash.xbe" first of the C drive, the XBox then should boot up UnleashX which is the default dashboard for my Installer and a evoxdash.xbe will be placed on C and E when installing a new HDD and both point to " E:\Dash\UnleashX\unleashx.xbe". Thanks for the pictures. Thats the same chip the other user had which was also not flashable. I begin to wonder if that Lattice controller causes the problem. To me it looks like a "fake" controller chip. The SST though is fine and looks original. In case you have an external programmer on hand, you could flash the SST with it.
  21. That is the second 49LF002B which is not flashable. EvoX should be able to flash the chip without a problem but, like Dave said, try XBlast. Launch " 1.1. Launch X-Box File Explorer UX. " Copy the bios you like to flash to : " C:\Bios ". ( I would suggest the " M8.16.CEC.FG.evoxdash.256.bin ". Rename the bios to : " bios.bin " Close the file explorer with the back button. Go to " 2.8.3. Launch XBlast OS v0.56. " an try to flash the chip. Could you make a picture of your Aladdin mod chip?
  22. Добро пожаловать. Do you have flashed your Aladdin with the right bios for your installation? Most of the Aladdins come with a cromwell or old evox bios which can cause those problems. Error 13 means the xbox could not load your dashboard. I would use the AID to flash the right bios to your Aladdin and see if that solves your problem (which it should). But pick the right bios depending on your XBox version (1.0 - 1.4 or 1.6). Still some questions: Do you use a 80 wire IDE cable or the old 40 wire for your SATA adapter? What HDD do you use (Seagate, Western Digital Green/Blue)?
