  1. DL : OGXBox Installer 2021 - v1.5.3 beta 2 For FatXplorer + XBoxHDM.zip Install FatXplorer 3.0 like written in the read me.txt and copy the content of the C folder to your C partition and to the same with the E folder (E partition). after that your xbox should boot. And jumper the adapter to master.
  2. Resistors : R6F7 = 0 ohm ? Get no reading. R7G2 = 2940k ohm R7G1 = 1100k ohm R7G1 = 288 ohm R7F6 = 100k ohm R7F7 = 10k ohm R7F8 = 84k ohm R7F9 = 2000k ohm Pictures of the area : https://imgur.com/a/lYWnXeZ
  3. The config is made for the FatXplorer set up which contains all dashboards. The evoxdash.xbe on E & C are just shortcuts pointing to unleash. YOu could leave everthing like it is and create a new shortcut pointing to your X4G and the replace the old ones (which I would do) or you edit the config. And if you have your X4G on partition 2 (C:\) than " DASH1=\Device\Harddisk0\Partition2\XBMC4GAMES\default.xbe " is right. For normal X4G is on partition 1 (E:\) " E:\XBMC4Gamers\default.xbe " And no, after you have set up the dash you like you could delete any other dash.
  4. But he has an alddin chip. So he could softmod and then flash re-flash the chip.
  5. Rockys fixed iND 5003.67 XISO DL : https://1fichier.com/?masfd22cvtc0h3mcw9dy The pack has everything it needs in the right places (Incl. shortcuts oin C+E, configs for X2+iND etc. pp.). I use it my self, like I wrote, and never had any problems so fahr. Have you checked the extra ram with XBlastOS? Just in case any setup is stable enough to do so. You could try out this config (128MB enabled, custom logo disabled (If needed you can change line 1 "480p=0" to "480p=1" : 480P=0 ; Default=0 AUTOLOADDVD=1 ;Autoload DVD (if dvd is in tray) Default=1 AVCHECK=1 ;Check for AV Pack Default=1 BGCOLOR=0x000000 ;X Screen BG Color Default=0xFFFFFF BLOBCOLOR=0x00A5FF ;Blob Color Default=0x40ff27 BLOBRADI=23 ;radi of the blob Default=23 BLOBSDEAD=0 ;removes blob (1 = remove) Default=0 BLOBTHROB=1 ; Default=1 CAMERAVIEW=-1 ;camera view -1 to 15 accepted, -1 = random camera Default=-1 DISABLEDM=1 ;disable debug monitor Default=1 FANSPEED=10 ;Fan Speed 10-50 = 20-100% Default=10 FASTANI=0 ;Fast Animation Default=0 FOGON=1 ;Enable Fog Default=1 FOG1ABS=0 ;absolute color, overides FOG1 color Default=0 FOG1COLOR=0 ;0xAARRGGBB Fog 1 Color FOG1CUSTOM=0 ;Enabled Custom FOG 1 Color Default=0 FOG2COLOR=0 ;0xAARRGGBB Fog 2 Color FOG2CUSTOM=0 ;Enabled Custom FOG 2 Color Default=0 GLOWCOLOR=0xa00BDF2 ;Custom Glow Color Default=0xa0ff40 IFILTER=1 ;Enable Interlace Filter Default=1 IGRLOADSDASH=1 ;Load Dashboard on IGR Default=0 IGRMODE=2 ;IGR Mode 0=off 1=compatible 2=quick Default=2 IND3D=1 ;Ind-Bios Custom 'Xbox' Logo Default=1 INTRO=1 ;Show Intro (0 = disables flub + 'x' screen) Default=1 IOGLOWCOLOR=0x70C3FF ;This is the intro/outro glow color Default=0xA0FF60 LIPCOLOR=0x000100 ; Default=0x000100 LIPGLOW=0x3D94FF ; Default=0x4b9b4b MACADDR=00:00:00:00:00:00 ;Change MAC Address Default=00:00:00:00:00:00 (From eeprom) MSLOGOTRANSEN=0 ;Enable Transperancy color for 'microsoft' logo Default=0 MSLOGOTRANSCOLOR=0xff00ff ;Transperancy color Default=0xff00ff NOFLUBBG=0 ;Disable Flub BG (Disable Scenery) Default=0 NOLIGHTEN=0 ;Disable Light in Upper Right Corner of X Screen Default=0 NOSOUND=0 ;Disable Sound Default=0 RESETONEJECT=0 ;Reset on Eject Default=0 SCENECOLOR1=0xFF409BFF ;0xAARRGGBB Scenery 1 Color Default=0xFF35FF1A SCENECOLOR2=0xFF409BFF ;0xAARRGGBB Scenery 2 Color Default=0xFF35FF1A SCENECOLOR3=0xFF409BFF ;0xAARRGGBB Scenery 3 Color Default=0xFF35FF1A SHOWFLUB=0 ;Show Flubber Default=0 SHOWMSEN=1 ;Show 'microsoft' logo Default=1 SHOWXEN=1 ;Show 'x' Default=1 SLOWMOBLOB=0 ;Slow Down Blob Default=0 SPIKEYBLOB=0 ; Default=0 TMS=0 ;Show Trademarks Default=0 USEUSEALLMEMORY=1 ;Use 128mb of Ram if Available Default=0 USEXBX=0 ;Use Debug XBX file for Dash Load Default=0 WIREFRAMEBLOB=0 ;Show blob in wireframe Default=0 XBOXCOLOR=0x2883C9 ;Custom 'xbox' color Default=0x62ca13 XGLOWCOLOR=0x56B6FF ;Custom Glow Color of 'X' Default=0xCADE00 XINNERCOLOR=0x0365AF ;Custom Inner color of 'X' Default=0x206a16 XLIGHTCOLOR=0xff000000 ;Color of the Light on upper right of 'x' Default=0xff000000 SKEWEN=1 ;Enable change the position of the 'microsoft' logo Default=1 YSKEWLOGO=-20 ;Y for above Default=-20 xSKEWLOGO=0 ;X for above Default=0 XSKEWXLOGO=0 ;X Position of X Logo Default=0 YSKEWXLOGO=0 ;Y for above Default=0 XLOGOSCALE=100 ;X Logo Scale 0-100% Default=100 XSKEWTEXT=0 ;X Position for 'xbox' Text Default=0 YSKEWTEXT=0 ;Y for above Default=0 TEXTSCALE=100 ;Text Scale 0-100% Default=100 CUSTOMBLOB=\Device\Harddisk0\Partition2\flubber.x ;Enable custom Flubber from c:\flubber.x CUSTOMLOGO=\Device\Harddisk0\Partition2\mslogo.bmp ;Enable custom MS Logo from c:\mslogo.bmp CUSTOMX=\Device\Harddisk0\Partition2\xlogo.x ;Enable custom X Logo from c:\xlogo.x CUSTOMTEXT=\Device\Harddisk0\Partition2\text.x ;Enable custom Text from c:\text.x LEDPATTERN=GGGG ;Custom LED Pattern G-Green R-Red O-Orange B-Blank Default=GGGG BLOBBGC=0x000000 ;background color of blob animation Default=0x000000 DEFAULTXBE=\Device\CdRom0\default.xbe DASH1=\Device\Harddisk0\Partition2\evoxdash.xbe DASH2=\Device\Harddisk0\Partition1\evoxdash.xbe DASH3=\Device\Harddisk0\Partition2\rescuedash\UnleashX\unleashx.xbe
  6. If you use the config above with the OGX 2021 Fatxplorer beta 3.0 nothing will boot. There is a config ini for the iND already in there. You just have to enable the 128MB in the config by seting it to =1 which I dosn't have done because most ppl just have 64MB. And have you tried the fixed 5003.67 from Rocky5? EDIT: And on my site (side?).... I have set up 2 128MB xboxes some days ago using my set up and have no problems whats so ever.
  7. You cant use the SST 39SF02070-4C-N because you could not flash it. So 49lf020a, 49lf020, 49lf020b, 49lf002a, 49lf002b will work but most likely only the chip which was on is flashable. I have tried to change a 49lf020 with an 49lf002b and was not able to flash it. How ever with an external flasher the chip was usable. The hotswap should work, no problem. You could softmod your XBox HDD on your HDD since you have the eeprom backup. XBoxHDM is the way to go.
  8. One option to run the game of the DVD is to switch the region with XBlastOS temporarily. Had that problem twice with US/NTSC xbox'es I bought. Switching to DVD PAL region solved that problem.
  9. There is a MakeMHz HDMI editon which dosn't has the "Boot From Media" Bios like the usal installer use. OGXBox Installer 2021 - v1.5.3 MakeMHz HDMI Edition.rar But you could also set up a new HDD for your XBox on your PC using FatXplorer 3.0 which is maybe the better option. With FatXplorer you can hock up your XBox HDD to your PC and copy files like you normaly do in windows. And FatXplorer also provide a format option for your XBOx HDD. OGXBox Installer 2021 - v1.5.3 beta 2 For FatXplorer + XBoxHDM.zip
  10. Little update. EvoX Blind Two Click Flasher v1.1 : https://1fichier.com/?ore79jgr62umqnkefjhp Just cold boot the XBox with this DVD already in your drive and wait till the DVD stops. Press A. Press Y and the flash process starts. Changes : Switched to a multi bios (Now it works for 1.0 - 1.6b). Simplified the complicated 3 click flash process. Now just 2 clicks. Hope this will help some ppl. in the future. EDIT : Anyone knows if you can make EvoX simulate that two clicks to make it no click?
  11. You can try to flash blind with this "EvoX Blind Flasher" I have made : https://1fichier.com/?5113k8i2rbtunfda07t3 (~6MB .rar) It's a simple EvoX which boots up from DVD where you can flash 256kb EvoX m8 plus bios for 1.0-1.4 XBoxes. There is just one bios so the process is super simple: Boot up the DVD and wait till the DVD stops spinning Press A Press Left Press A Wait till the XBox shuts down Short video with subs inside. EDIT: OFC only if it's just a video problem and your xbox boots a DVD which you can hear.
  12. Ok the x2 config ist still the one from me which makes it much more strange (but like I wrote, HeXEn didn't add a config at all). dash is in place, config is fine and you have a WD blue which also works without tweaks (# head parking). The XBox workds with the old HDD, with the old and new bios and also with the same IDE cable. So the last thing I can think of is that you maybe use a 40 wire cable and the WD "need" an 80 wire cable in the xbox to work (Yea I know how that sounds). And in case you already use a 80 wire cable, I'm out of ideas. Maybe @SS_Dave or @KaosEngineer have an idea what you could to try next. EDIT: One more thing. Even it isn't a WD Green, it could be possible (If you bought the HDD second hand) that the previous owner has head parking enabled or the power management set to "low power". So download CrystalDiskInfo (if you don't have it) and check the settings like shown in this screen. The value should be set to 0 (Yeah, I'm aware of the typo in the titel : https://imgur.com/a/hEsgaLC
  13. You dont need to fit a wire in the via. Just scrape the mask of a bit and tin the via and solder the wire to it (on top). If you have speaker wire, strip some cm/inch and use just 1 single strand if you don't have wire that small enough. Option 2 is to scrape the solder mask of the trace and just bridge the two points (Like shown in this highly professional made picture : https://imgur.com/a/qdUBj1m ) You could also try to use a resistor leg for it since it should be more stable like a single small wire and you have planty of room. And you can fit the shape first so it's maybe easyer for you. But that is on you to figure it out whats easyer for you. If you have a soldering iron with temp control set it to ~ 300 - 320° C. Depening on the tip you use. And don't forget to pre tin the trace and cable/leg. That makes soldering much easyer. AND, it dosn't need to be perfect. It just has to be good enough to bridge the points. Finaly, try it first on some other dead what ever you have laying around and you don't care about. Give you're self some time and try it over and over again. And in 2 or 3 days you get back to the XBox and you will get the job done. :)
  14. As far as I know HeXEn didn't replace or add a x2 config, it just flashes the bios which maybe didn't point to your Dash. Hook up the HDD to your PC and edit the x2 config by hand or add one if there is non. The dash should be in " E:\Dash\UnleashX\unleash.xbe " And one question, what type and brand of HDD do you use?
  15. When your chip is disabled and you are on the stock bios and dash you can't run any homebrew (Even you have them on C or E) or access the F and G partition. FOr that you have to re-enable the chip.
  16. That bios is a dual bios. It combines 2 bios files to fit the 1 MB which the Xecuter has. HeXEn should also provide a x2 5035.67 512kb single bios which you should use if you like to have an Xecuter bios.
  17. You can dump you eeprom key of the XBox and try to lock the HDD on your PC using XBoxHDM. And the 1.0 dosn't have the error codes. They where added later to the Kernel.
  18. What I see can be repaired. The question is (NO offence here) if you are able to repair the board. Again no offence. You have the option to bridge the traces from one via to another with some fine wire like awg 30 or awg 32 and the XBox should be come back to life if the job is done right. So maybe you solder on some old broken tech (EDIT: And I don't mean the XBox /EDIT) you have laying around to gain experience before you procced to do the job your self or you search for some one who can do the job for you. Pick your poison.
  19. Oh boy.... You need to do a trace repair with some jumper wires from via to via but how it looks, you should some one else do the job. And why do you want to install an aladdin in a nice TSOP'ed 1.0/1.1 ?
  20. The answer is the same like on i gave you on reddit. Load a more modern Installer and flash a more or less modern bios like the EvoX m8 pus CEE
  21. You are not wrong. The old releases indeed sometimes needed that long to boot. Problem was one config with ~ 4500 lines of code and the autoscan function. UnleashX is not realy made to load up that much code of a DVD. So splitting up the config into soft and hard mod config, cleaning out all the commend lines (which are btw. false) and hardcoding the live apps instead of let the dvd scan for the apps folder on the DVD (Why scanning for it when you know whats there?), the boot times are now pretty good. Took some nights to figgure all that out but the end was nice. I still have a copy of the version I made which I handed ToxicMedz so if you're interested in it to compare or just for fun, let me know and I send you a pm with the DL link.
  22. There are some reasons to use a BFM bios for an installer. Mainly, you can make use of things which are not supportet by the bios the user have on his mod chip or are not active. You can make sure it's a .67/FG bios in case the user uses a old bios which dosn't support partition 7 (Happends every now and then). You can make use some gimmicks which would not be possible without a BFM bios (Disk swap for example which is usefull if you like to make an addon disk which can be side loaded in the main installer (Damn spoiler )). And like Kaos already wrote, you can use also a debug bios to run an debug dash on your console which for the most pll doesn't make any sense. Over all, for 98% of the users which just like to use there xbox to play games, a BFM bios has no use.
  23. 2.7 is the last version Slayer has made. How ever, there are some updated version floting around which make use of a BFM bios and have softmod stuff added but the most of them also use old apps. BTT. TruHeXEn 2021 boots up in just some seconds (30 sec max if you use a thomson which is a bit - slow.) on every XBox. Since the main config is splittet into a soft and hardmod section and some other bugs got fixed (autoscan etc:) the disc is fast. How ever, I personaly have still my problems with it because ToxicMedz sadly decided to re-add some major flaws of the old releases. Anyway, if someone like TruHeXEn, go with the 2021. It's the best version beside the 2018 release (Which some ppl still prefere over any other version). And if you search for more, take a look at the OGXBox Installer.
  24. Slayers didn't use a BFM bios (Ofc depending on which slayers you use, some does like 3.37 for example.). Problem could be still the used HDD or the dvd media you used.
