But there really is no "Free" solution, unless you want to install analog or digital audio outs wired to the A/V port pins on the mobo. Even then, you will still have to find a way to drive the headphones if you don't already have hardware to do it, since there is no amplified analog output on the console.

This thread is specifically about the CCI. You will need to ask at backups about the dragon image seeders. There wont be any NZB's. Usenet is ass. Personally I prefer setting up my own drive, I use XBMC4Gamers with these CCI's. The Dragon dash can be very slow as it is very image and animation based, if you have 128mb Xbox then its a little better but can still be slow imo.

Are there any NZBs available for these, in particular the dragon4gamers4TB imgc; there aren't any seeders for it...plus, Usenet is so much better for downloading.

Hey! So i bought a hdmi adapter to use with my xbox(should arrive soon), to connect the console to a monitor. The adapter does not have a audio port. The monitor does not have a audio port/speakers i noticed later to my surprise. Im wondering if there is any simple way to get audio out of this setup. I dont want to buy the official headset, wanted to use a regular pair of 3.5mm headphones.. I did a bit of research and i can...buy a cheap audio extractor i suppose...there is no 3.5mm port on the og xbox controller...i dont know if there is an alternative free solution.. Im wondering, can someone help me out? Maybe something im not thinking about.. Thanks

Beacause the OG never had a proper gamerscore, you can edit it directly in the dash to say whatever you want. Same with the Rep stars This one wasn't actually mine, this was given to me years ago by a mate who didnt use it anymore.

There is a bit more to do before it's finished. The black jewel will go on the Halo Editions, and the green will go on the black and crystal consoles. The print and logos, as well as the backgrounds will be metallic. This console in the thread is only the beginning. "Dev kit" may also be stenciled on the front panel. If I can, I will do "Development Kit" on the strip opposite the side of the DVD bezel. Just have to deal with the stupid embossed logos screwing up the stenciling.

I wonder if that is similar to this one which I think is a replacement for the semiconductor near the power connector on the mobo. It would definitely be worth a reflow just to see if it made a difference. Id be curious to know of a replacement part though just to know. That transistor's legs do NOT look properly soldered, or if they are, it's is bare minimum.. Definitely flux and flow that with some extra solder.
