  1. I installed a LCD screen (SPI2Par2019 + HD44780 LCD). I have a Xenium. When the screensaver starts the text on the LCD screen disappears and I have to go to settings/LCD/ Enable LCD/VFD and change the value back to anything (well, in my case LCD - HD44780) for the text to re display on the screen...the value of LCD/VFD doesn't matter as far as getting the text back; it's the process of changing it to anything that brings it back. Is this a known issue? What's the fix? I've edited the LCD.xml w/ the suggested edit on ryzee119 spi2par2019 github
  2. You probably don't "have" to cut the shielding, but I did. As far as the SCL and SDA wires, pretty much gotta solder to the LPC. However, I'm now using a Xenium Ice 3.0 which has a 12 pin JST connector; the extra 2 pins are SCL and SDA so I made a 12 pin connector w/ all 5 of the wires except for the 5v. Here's the pin out for Xenium Ice 3.0 in case you need/want it. Sidenote: I also desoldered the connector from the power board and soldered the wires directly to it to get things to fit a bit better (that may or may not really be necessary...so I guess your mileage will vary...you'll probably know when the time comes ) ModsvilleUSA mentioned it in one of his OGX LCD vids, so I did it the way he described, going one wire at a time so I wouldn't lose my place/count.
  3. There are 3 additional wires to solder; 1 for 5v (this is required). The other 2 [SCL and SDA] are optional for displaying fan speed and temp in game.
  4. Reference the info posted by @Bowlsnapper Also,I just bought and installed this. Here's the wiring pin out I used for an Open Xenium with the included JST connector wiring harness: S1: Brown wire SCK: Purple wire GND: White wire There's still a couple wires that you'll need to connect, but this should get you started. (you won't have to stare at the wires and count them out anyway
  5. When you're pushing out these updates is the online artwork updater also updated Just wondering if it would pull them down if I updated that way?
  6. Was also wondering this; won't dashboards and apps need to be updated for the dual HDD to be recognized?
  7. Same here. Xenium; 128MB, latest version of Cerbios. No issues.
  8. Not a fresh install. I did run manual for both titles already and that's how they are. I'll run thumbnail cleaner and see what happens. Thanks for the suggestion
  9. Thanks for this! I'm noticing the Title IDs for Dead or Alive 1 Ultimate and Dead or Alive 2 Ultimate are the same: <titleid>54430006</titleid> What's the correct ID for both titles?
  10. Is it possible to have XeniumRGB and a SPI2Par installed at the same time with OpenXenium; there's only one JST port on the chip.
  11. pogo pins are dumb; take those out. use some sort of metal poker or some plyers...I've had those in boards before...total pita to get out sometimes.....
  12. if your console boots and the TSOP is write enabled, download and burn the Cerbios installer disc; it contains several flashers. This is contingent on the points on your board being bridged; the TSOP being made writable and the console being softmodded.
