It will work find fine on it's side just remember it's not as stable and could fall over.

for the stability i can print something

That would be good and if you can lift it up a little bit that would help with air flow as there is air vents both sides.

And if you do print something post a pic of the finished item and maybe the STL files .

А если вы что-то напечатаете, опубликуйте фотографию готового изделия и, возможно, файлы STL.

Ideally you should place the Xbox upside down in case some capacitors start leaking.  That way the motherboard won't get fried. 🙂

No because the heat from the CPU and GPU with be transferred back into the Chip and  PCB and not the heatsink

I have seen many car audio amplifier that failed because it was mounted with the heat sink facing down.

still come up with a turning mechanism for the crystal, as it was done on the PlayStation 2 logo. it will be very cool.

You can stick the top cover in the freezer for 15 minutes, give the inside a good smack, and the jewel will pop right off. The best part is that as it warms back up again the adhesive is still usable! So you can just rotate it 90 degrees and slap it back on there. Not as easy to switch back-and-forth as the PlayStation but it's a start!

Hey there, I have a chipped 1.6 and I'm using it on my LG 4K TV via component cable, I'm experiencing image drop out (see the video below). I've tried 3 different sets of cables, I've changed the Xbox to NTSC to enable HD video mode. Is there anything you people can recommend for me to try? I'm willing to try anything just so I can get this issue resolved. Thanks!

I finally got the parts for internal mounting of the OGx360, but i am not sure what to do with the reciever. Anyone got good ideas for where to put it internally, and in that case, how to get to the sync button easily?

      Is external mount best?
