Best Bios for Pre-1.6 Emulation?

Recommended Posts

There are several.  Doesn't affect installing or launching of the emulators.

Evox M8plus

Xecuter 2 4981.67 or 4983.67

Xecuter 2 5035 - x2config.ini allows BIOS configuration changes to be made by editing this file that's stored in the root of the Xbox's E drive

iND-BiOS 5003

iND-BiOS Beta 2005-02-15 (aka 5004)

These two iND-BIOSes also have a configuration file but it's named, ind-bios.cfg, and it is stored on the root of the Xbox's C drive.

These are the latest BIOS versions from the various BIOS development teams.

Well if someone has asked this question, I can't find it.  I have a V1.2, non-chipped XBOX. Was wondering if the EVOX M8+ bios found on Hexen 2018 disc will work for  a 2 Terabyte drive? Anybody else got any more suggestions?
      Thanks

This might interest those that want to turn their retail/debug Xbox into a fully-functioning development kit without having to spend $500+ on one. It works on any version 1.0 through 1.2 motherboard and can be great for troubleshooting crashes of all kinds without requiring the use of XDK software.
I'm selling pre-made units for $30 plus shipping and would also like to get a feel for how many might want one in Europe so I can bulk-ship to a distributor to help save some on shipping costs as it's usually around $15 USD to ship from the US otherwise.
Everything is fully open-source if you'd like to build/sell them yourself as well. Any questions, feel free to ask.

      Hi,
I want to get back into making custom x2 4981 bios's but need the XBOX TEXT.3ds file as mentioned in the screen grab below (x-projects.org is long gone).
I know I could use a newer bios but I liked messing with this particular one and having everything on the tsop rather than having a config file on the hdd.
If anyone has it could you please PM me? I have 3ds max and deep exploration but I can't find this, any help or links appreciated
