Ive had a good sort out, I have 3 working tsop'd boards f/s, a 1.0 (with gpu fan and controller daughterboard), the other 2 are 1.2 and 1.4 (i think!), all have cerbios flashed to them, £25 ea plus post ppg. Other bits available on request, got 5 decent green jewels, loads of fans, case screws, controller ports, drive cables, front power boards, unlocked stock hard drives, basically anything from the original xbox apart from anything dvd drive or casing related (i do have a couple of plastic bases tho). also have a 1.6 board that has an Aladdin chip fitted, works fine but cant ftp to it for some reason

Or maybe i locked it in my inexperienced days? Anywhoo im curious as to if there is a way to unlock said drive without the eeprom..i still have the board but no power supply for it as i abandoned it and went to work on my 1.6 but i do still have the mobo and associated sister boards. Is my only hope resurrecting the 1.4 board or can i pull the eeprom without power to it? I have an Aladdin chip if i need to go that route...any help would be appreciated.

New XboxHD+ boards no longer require project Stellar to work
dtomcat posted a topic in Hardware Mods
As title suggests... a new announcement was made today that the new xboxHD+ boards will no longer require project stellar to work. https://makemhz.com/products/xboxhd-legacy -
As i won't build further boards i decided to sell the Adapter boards to people who want to do the install themselves. Well it's not the easiest of an install but if you want to try hit me up! A BOM that are needed and install details are found on my github: https://github.com/N64-Freak/Xbox-CPU-interposer Price for one interposer Board: 20€ If you want to buy multiple we can work out a deal. I do ship from germany but do have some stock in the US for faster shipping.

Just a quick question to throw out to the community. I just did my first 1.6 LPC rebuild using a rebuild PCB. I`ve done many LPC rebuilds the old school way, just running wires to the appropriate points, but I saw these boards, so I grabbed a few to try out. I have mixed feelings about them. Yes, it was as simple as soldering the connections on the board to the point right next to them, and yes, they do look more professional, but did they save me any time, not really. With all the fiddling around trying to make sure all the points were exactly where they needed to be before tacking them in was a pain, and took way longer than if I had just run wires to where they needed to go. What is everyone elses opinion and experiences with these LPC rebuild boards.

I've been on the facebook page for almost a year and a half now I just haven't moved over to here much yet. My grammar is pretty terrible, and I find it hard to explain my thoughts in the right words sometimes, but I love the original xbox and I'm always willing to help someone learn if I know something that could potentially help. I first got into modding through the xbox back around 2006 or 2007. Ruined a few until I became patient with projects, and now I currently have 13 OGs that I play around with. On the facebook page I learned a lot more than I had known before through hours of google searches. I even set up the debug mode and threw visual studio 2003 on an older tower running XP and started reading about C++. I wanted to not just be able to follow a tutorial, but understand WHY I was doing what I was doing to get to my end result. So now my goal is to move more from the hardware and aesthetic side of things and do more with coding and programming. I'd like to get into modding games on the OG since no one really seems to be modding in that way on the OG these days. I've been working on a complete reskin and remap of Halo for a couple years now, but that's all with tools like Sparkedit, HHT, and HMT. I was trying to work on Ultimate Spider-Man for a bit, but I still don't quite understand hex editing, and most forums it seems like you either know what they're talking about or you don't. My favorite go to game on the OG lately has been Jedi Academy, i've played through it probably 10 times this month already lol. So even though these games are still great, if you play them a lot they start to get old. I'd like to breathe new life into some of my old favorites. That's the goal anyway
