Ide or Sata hdd? If sata, what adapter, and you using an 80 wire? Does the dvd drive work?

I think I figured out what to do last night. I went back into the discord and read what I did. I ftp'd into nkpatcher to access real C. I deleted the contents of C\nkpatcher, and replaced them with the PBL cfg and xbe, then placed Cerbios.bin file in there. I renamed Emustation to Evoxdash.xbe and put it in C, along with its folders/files. I would just need to overwrite the Cerbios.bin file I put in C\nkpatcher with new Cerbios 2.3.2 UDMA6.bin. One thing I noticed is that I can no longer use Dashloader, I tried reinstalling it again and setting UX and Gamers to A and B, but they dont work. The led is green also, used to be orange. He said I can modify that with the Cerbios.ini file and place it in the nkpatcher folder. But if I can't use Dashloader or Insignia, I doubt I'll continue with it. The guys in discord said that it would be a mess of an install if I tried. I just wanted to experiment with an extra xbox.

Is it possible to change the UDMA version on a softmod running Cerbios? I put an ssd in one of mine and wanted to test out UDMA6 with it. I was half asleep when I installed Cerbios on my first softmodded one and dont remember much. A guy on discord walked me through it.

I tried FDM a few weeks ago and couldn't figure out how to limit the download speeds so uninstalled, I only have 10MB down / 1MB up, they say fiber is within a year. Tried reinstalling FDM and it just constantly says loading in the Chrome extension tab now. Is there a main Redump link on Archive that everyone uses? The only ones I've found are from CVLT of Mirrors, and Stranno. I don't feel like manually grabbing 1k downloads, especially with only 1MB download speed. I used to have the 2017 hdd ready pack, then got the 2020 pack on backups. Just wanting to finally have redumps and be done with it, now that I know theres a difference.

Rooftop over at Emuxtras uploaded his Artwork v3 Collection to the Repo and those are included. Swagger also has a Homebrew pack on there. Both good work.

That's not a violence indicator, it shows you which games have cheats/trainers available. When it turns yellow, that means you populated a trainer list for that game. Try pressing White to open a menu while hovering over those games, there will be Trainer Options in that menu. Pick the right list for your region, ntsc/pal.

Has anyone here tested the Xedusa+? I hear it has good reviews, but has hdmi audio issues with v1.0, supposedly. But with dual outputs, I'm assuming you can use the optical or stereo outputs instead.

I can't seem to find it in this thread, is it in here somewhere? I'll try it to compare against the one I use on backups to see if the offset is fixed.

There is one on back-ups, works with 64/128, and is 60fps. I tried it and it feels good, but the video is offset to the right sometimes.

How do I delete this?

I found out about it myself a few weeks ago. Only used it once to see what it does because Rocky mentioned it in the log files.

I can try, there are so many options in Handbrake, I'd just be guessing. Does 4Gamers support anything other than mp4 for the intro?

/Repository/Spacemans Universe/xbmc/Intros. There are 4 total, but the one I mentioned is pretty sweet, modern but simplistic. Its the only one that's avi, the other 3 are wmv.

Enable debug mode and see if the ram dips. I've never had this issue myself.

I'm trying out the 4Gamers Intro Video and it was successful for a while, but randomly after the intro, this glitched loading screen appears before booting into the dash. It does it on Chimeric, Pound, and Component. Tested on two tv's. I created a folder named Intro in the 4Gamers system folder, and placed the renamed Intro.mp4 in it. The file I'm using was found on the Emuxtras repo, named IntroXboxHD.avi. I renamed it to Intro.mp4 and it worked at first, but then it randomly glitches after. I tried to convert avi to mp4 in Handbrake but the converted video always stutters on the xbox, probably a setting I'm missing. I've never used Handbrake before. The original avi video itself has no artifacting in it after renaming to mp4. I've tried pressing B to skip the video and it still does it randomly. I deleted all themes and redownloaded, didnt work. It only happens if I enable Intro Video. Anyone have recommendations to convert avi to mp4, if renaming it is what's causing the problem?

I put a 3TB HGST HUS724030ALA640 in one of my xbox's maybe 5 years ago and it is so loud I never want to try Enterprise hdd's again. I expected there to be noise, but its annoyingly too much for xbox. Its my slowest xbox hdd also, very unresponsive. It said it was new when I got it off Amazon I think, but is there a way to check if I plug it into a Win10 pc? It's softmodded and I just put Cerbios on it a few nights ago, wanting to see if it will show up as 3TB now.

You know if your 5400's are CMR or SMR? I'm trying to find out if there is a difference in xbox performance long term. According to this list, the largest 7200rpm WD Blue is 2TB, the WD20EZBX, and its the one I use. It's been great so far, but there are no 7200rpm WD Blue's larger than 2TB on that list. If I want to stay with WD and 4TB CMR, it looks like it's either the WD4005FZBX or WD40EZAX. If I can step down to 5400 without suffering noticeable performance decreases, it would save me quite a bit.

What's considered a quality hdd to pair with UDMA6? CMR variants like the 7200rpm WD Black 4TB or the 5400rpm WD Blue 4TB? I just found out about CMR vs SMR. I've been using the WD20EZBX lately and it feels fine so far as an SMR, but I haven't played any games yet, just setting up the hdd so far. If that 5400rpm hdd does work well with the xbox, will UDMA6 cause issues with its slower rpm? I understand its experimental, just trying to learn. Should I stay away from 5400rpm hdd's in the future, even if they are CMR?

I feel the pain. They only offer 10 down/1 up where I'm at, but they said last month we will have fiber on our street within a year, but they said the same thing a year ago.

I tried opening this link and AVG says there is a bitcoinminer virus in it. I figured out how to change settings in case anyone else is confused...At the emustation dashboard carousel, go to xbmc options, go to file manager, go to e:/, xbmc-emustation, .emustation, emulators, n64 (holding down right trigger speeds up the process of finding it), then just select the .xbe file of the emulator that the game you are having trouble black screening is supposed to run. In my case, if you look at EWJ's 212 pack, Goldeneye has UltraHLE in the file name, so I selected UltraHLE.xbe at the very bottom. This should bring up a Surreal64CE screen with all your N64 roms. Hover over the game with issues, press x, emulator settings. Goldeneye said PJ64 I think, instead of UltraHLE. I just clicked on Emulator until it changed to UltraHLE. When finished, press b, to go back, and select 'quit surreal'. Go back to the emustation carousel, select n64, select Goldeneye. This is what works for me, anyway. I also had to right thumb click while in game to change controller configs.
