I have use a Netgear adapter before but I found it fiddly to setup and I got better results using a cable direct to the router. I did use a kit the uses the power lines in your house to extend the wired network and that worked pretty good but the one that just plugged in to the Xbox port and then connected to wifi was not so good. The million dollar question why deo electronic chips fail for no apparent reason. I have had main controller IC's fail in car audio systems for no reason as well, working one minute and not he next after turning the unit off the on.with no sign of abuse. It maybe possible to recover from a damaged TSOP chip If you can get your hands on a chip writer remove the TSOP and reflash the BIOS to it then refit the TSOP chip. Find a old main board of the same version and swap the TSOP chip. Both those options require above average soldering skills. The last option is make or acquire a recovery mod chip and that has a modified BIOS on it and links on the Xbox TSOP to ground to temporarily disable the TSOP and boot the Xbox ,The links to get removed at the correct time and order during the boot process that will allow flashing the onboard chip providing the 2 flash enable links have been added... I use the Verbatim brand with very good results. Open nero or what ever cd/dvd burning program you use and select new then locate the XXXXX.ISO file that you unzipped and select it Then make sure that DVD is selected and write speed is slow and finalize is selected click burn. Hi Ryan If you google Truhexen2019 you should get a google drive download Then unzip the file the burn and then iso file to a DVD-r at the slowest your writer will go. It looks to me as if it has a X2-5032 BIOS Has you Xbox got a small PCB like this The reason I ask is my version 1.6 with an X3 chip whoever did the install did not put that board in which means that the eject and power doesn't work because it's only wired to the power button. You need the softmod 1st working to use Xblast, then once you have flashed the TSOP if it's the latest version soft mod it should still boot. I will let it out in to the wild soon as I am still tweaking it(90% happy) and the problem with Mechassault is you need the NON live version. I have 50% finished my 007 Agent Under Fire and just starting with Splinter cell as well. My problem to many projects at one time. Port 3 is USB and has a DVD dongle that can work simultaneously and the IR is hidden above the eject button and still has 15 meter range Port 4 is an OGX360 for controllers 1 and 2 Port 1 and 2 are normal OG Xbox controllers. That's good news I do some of some of my best work early in the AM One morning I couldn't sleep so a quick ram upgrade to get the day started then yesterday I made a internal DVD dongle and USB port that can both be used at the same time and with any switching.
