Thank you all, for transferring games emu i intend to mount the 2tb drive in a inatek usb 3.0 caddy and the 4tb internally in a spare bay on my pc and use fatxplorer 360 beta. Its just knowing the file structure to the new drive is it just a straight copy and paste of folders ie games emulators etc. Do i place all on the f drive?? As new drive is formatted with less partitions than soft modded drive. Do i have to set up pathways to folders etc or will xbmx4gamers seevall games artwork etc

Finally i got the 1.6 up and running @Bowlsnapper thank you for all the valuable help and every other person who helped kudos to you all. The problem seems to be with the make mhz xenium chip not allowing to ftp a bios to it and constantly refuseing connection according to windows 10 no matterb whether i set it as dynamic or static under network in xenium os. I put the bios in a folder called bios on the fatxplorer modded e drive and flashed it through xenium os booted into a freshly 512kb formatted hard drive. Now all i need is a good tutorial on transferring games emu etc (all help greatly appreciated by me) from my soft modded 2tb 1.4 before i tsop it and install cerbios. Again thank you all for the very valuable informatiin i could not have done it without your help.

When i boot chipped xbox it boots to xenium os. I formatted a 4tb drive via fatxplorer 360 beta. When i try to ftp (tried with both and ethernet and a cross over cable to the xbox via browser using my xboxs ip address as per marios instructions on ytube connecting my xbox to a hp g3 tower pc i get a white screen in the browser with no optiins on browser page. Can i just pur cerbios on newly formatted c drive and flash via xenium os??

More problems i tried to ftp into my installed make mhz xenium chipped os 2.3.1 via chrome web browser all i get is a blank white screen, is there any other way i can flash the bios to the chip?? Am totally stuck

When i formatted i picked the 512kb cluster in fatxplorer will the bios you have supplied still work

Yes hard drive was formatted in fatxplorer with cerbios

I have just formattedva 4tb hsrd drive useing fatxplorer beta useing hazenos tutorial and c and e zip, what is next step? Do i need to flash cerbios latest bios to my xenium mod chip (its a make mhz one) via ftp?? In order for xbox to see the new hard drive?? Thanking in advance

Because i started backwards i bought a soft modded xbox didnt like any of the cables to hdmi, so when i saw the yt vid i decided to buy electron shepards and put them in an xbox and am trying to learn how to do cerbios and tsop for a 1.4 and chipped (which ive done) for a 1.6 and a 4tb drive. Would love if someone would do an internal 3d printed houseing for the electron shepard that could be anchored to the motherboard would definately buy that.

Yes but very knowledgeable enthuasists that definately know more than a lot of us noobs which i am, and yes i can solder having just done a xenium chip install in a 1.6 useing a yt video, which boots into its os but i was stuck after hence me asking for help on other threads. I also soldered in a hdmi mod in a 1.4 softmodded 2tb xbox i bought taking instruction from another yt video.

Use some electricial tape to hold the startech on the hard drive i have had that problem with the startech comeing loose by the vibration of the hard drives whirring as i bought one to replace a green one i had which never came loose

I put one of these into my soft modded xbox https://electron-shepherd.com/products/analog2hdmi i followed a youtube vid thats in german . I have to say it is much better than any of the converters i bought on amazon analogue to hdmi and similar cables to the pound cable and also almost as good as other ones costing 7 to 8 times the price.

Before you flash a bios to a xenium chip what ftp cable do you need, looking at tutorials some say connect ftp cable from xbox to pc other tutorials say to ftp to xbox you need a crossover cable, which is it?? I have neither and beforeni buy one i need to know precisly which one is needed? As being a noob precise info like this is needed to avoid mistakes or buying needless items. Thanking you in advance.

Hi am new here and to xbox modding. I would like to request respectfully that people doing modding tutorials especially youtube please think of us noobs by 1 think of person tutorial geared towards and if possible do different or modded stages tutorials ie: noob, novice, experianced 2 proper instruction from beginning to end no off in another tangent causeing confusion especially to noobs 3 clear and precise information, eg: this xbox has a chip name of but no hard drive, new hard drive etc 4 proper working links if links are being provided. Hello im new to xbox i have a softmodded xbox 2tb 1.4 how do i go about installing cerbios on this modded console as i cannot find any proper install videos on yt. There are many talking about but not physically showing how it is done. Can it be done via dvd disc or how? I also have a 1.6 chipped console with no hard drive also cannot find a proper step by step guide or yt video on putting a new hard drive into a xenium chipped hard drive less xbox. These are things new that non moddifying people face but people showing modding xboxs tutorials fail to provide clear instructions on. Any help really appreciated.
