    already did. the fuse is blown I can't seem to find a replacement. this is a PSU. I would really rather replace the components.

    hey fellas. something awful happened. my sata adapter fell on my PSU and sparks flew. I don't know where to start troubleshooting. The Xbox doesn't turn on anymore. I cannot tell if the damage stopped at the PSU or went into the console. The copper ring step down transformer looks fried.

    yeah, I preordered one and I have a few retro fighter controllers and they aren't bad. The only thing that kills me is the communicator. Is there any other way to have headset access? no, right?

    Did anybody order this controller? I think it's really awesome because of the hall effect sticks. Only thing that kind of makes it a deal breaker for me is there is no port for a communicator. I also prefer wired controllers but I can deal with that. Just wish I could use my headset with it.

    you shouldn't need anything to flash cerbios assuming you have a flashable chip. Do you know what chip you have? probably a cheapo Aladdin chip if it came with evox but even those can be flashable. If your Xbox is is a 1.0-1.4 you can even just flash TSOP but all this depends on what hardware you are working with. Can't help really any further without knowing more information.

    maybe try looking here? not sure if that is exactly the way. I don't use evox and I recommend you flash cerbios instead. very easy to change flubber with that bios. there is probably a folder somewhere that you place the boot animation in.

    very likely the transistor near the clock cap could be dying. check the collector and if its not 3.3v it may need replacing. have you checked the transistor?

    oh. my bad. I like xbmc but i never use it for ftp

    ftp sucks on xmbc anyways. use unleashx for ftp. do you have an 80pin ide? cheapo ide to sata connecter?
