What's the most efficient cooling fan that does a bloody good job for the OGXbox, I'm running the stock fan and it's not the noise that bothers me but is there something more efficient that could keep everything cooler? Usually my temps are around 40-50c with the stock fan at 100%

Try somewhere outside of Ebay, I managed to pick-up a HD AV pack from a Japan auction proxy site for $20 as Xbox wasn't big over there as they enjoyed the playstation. The hardware was generally cheaper and sold as junk.

Use composite video cables straight to the TV and not through a Scart adapter. Also use an Official Xbox controller and try again. Certain video resolutions will cause it to fail aswell as third part controllers

I have the MakeMhz HDMI upgrade aswell as 128mb RAM upgrade, I run the M8+ bios, I have two biases loaded onto the OpenXenium modchip. First is patched M8+ to support 128mb RAM and the otheris just normal M8+ for the 64mb RAM. Some games I've found won't run properly on the 128mb bios. Example I have to run Steel Battalion on the 64mb bios And Steel Battalion Line of Contact on the 128mb bios. Weird I know but it still works.

Maybe it's the TV? Some new TV's don't like lower resolutions like 480p/480i.

Would you guys recommend any other brand fans for the console? I just have a stock and crank it 100, it's a bit noisy but as long as it's cool.

I used one in the past it's just a cheap cable that does an OK job, probably would suite new comers at as an entry level adapter to get started but sooner or later you will start to look at other products on the market.

@Big Poo The Steel Battalion save data is located inside E:\TDATA\43430002 E:\UDATA\43430002 Back up these two folders and it will be all good.
